Osteria is a truly authentic Italian Restaurant on Westover Terrace in Greensboro. You'll feel like you've just been transported to Emilia Romagna, region of Italy. The restaurant is decorated with wine cabinets filled with well selected only italian wines. Our chefs adhere to traditional methods of preparation and use only the finest ingredients imported from Italy in addition to our local produce. We only use fresh pasta made daily. Pasta and fresh seafood take center stage of our menu, in addition to other dishes. Desserts and bread are also freshly made at Osteria.

                                                      Tables are way too close! I do not want to listen to the conversation of the diners next to me. The server was subpar. Because it was my birthday and I specifically requested a somewhat secluded table and they failed to honor that, I expected at least a complimentary birthday dessert. Didn't happen. The bartender prepared a tiny complimentary limoncello spritzer - nice touch. On a scale of 1-10 I would grade them a 7.

                                                      This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely go back.

                                                      The restaurant was not very busy and they put us in the newer section with only 2 other people. By the time we left we were alone in the room. There is little ambiance and the padded seating along the wall is too high for the tables. I’m 5’7” and had to lean over to further than normally to eat. My husband would not have been able to sit there. I was surprised that the staff were dressed so casually. With the price of a meal, I would expect (hope) that management would place more emphasis on attire. The food was good but expensive for pasta. They had Caesar Salad as a “special” appetizer but there was nothing special about it. No anchovies in the dressing so it was just bland. Service was attentive.
