Very good setting. Beautiful patio with a good view. Staff and service were very good. Food was fantastic!
Outstanding dining experience. The service was terrific and the everything we had was delicious.
This is a wonderful restaurant - truly original food preparation (I've never had a better cauliflower dish, for example) and everything we ordered was outstanding. The service was extremely pleasant and friendly but also very careful (COVID). We wanted to eat outdoors but opted for hightops instead and that was fine too. The restaurant wasn't crowded for a Saturday night but I imagine that will all change soon. No hesitations about recommending this restaurant most highly, for everyone!
The lamb chops with creamy polenta were outstanding. The calamari was cooked perfectly and delicious. The bartender however does not know how to make an old-fashioned. The wine was delicious. All in all a really nice place to go for a wonderful dinner.
It was our first visit and we will definitely be back again
The service and food were outstanding.
Our waitress was great, service and food was impeccable. The ambience was on point!
Wine selection is amazing. Great appetizers. Great pasta dishes. Portions were perfectly sized even for a bigger guy like me. Ambiance is very modern country italian. My only hitch in the whole experience was for me alone with 5 people spliting 2 apps, 3 glasses of wine and a main dish my tab hit $100.
Food was absolutely delicious… Had a wonderful antipasto platter followed by some luscious pasta… Highly recommend and cannot wait to eat there again on my next visit
Always have an excellent meal at iNonni!
We enjoyed tasty cocktails, excellent wines and delicious savory dishes in a charming atmosphere. The staff was pleasant and professional, and we weren't forced to endure two hours of Sinatra. Could not have been a more perfect evening!
Looking forward to returning with no time limit on the table! Norcina was as good as I had in Assisi!
Great service, wonderful ambience, delicious Italian food. Great wine selection and full bar. Once summer hits the patio will be hopping.
We enjoyed a lovely, leisurely anniversary dinner by the fire on a quiet Monday night. The sommelier picked out a dynamite cab for us, our food was delicious, and the service was exceptional.
Fabulous food and service!
Excellent COVID procedures seem to be in place. Arancini was delicious in a spicy tomato sauce. Duck had nice seasoning and sauce, but was fatty and tough. Risotto with the duck was overcooked and mushy. Lamb chops also delicious and seasoned well, but a bit too rare. Asked for assistance on choosing red wines for entrees and server advised she'd check with the sommelier to see what he would recommend. Two full glasses were chosen for us and brought to the table. Would have preferred a couple suggestions from the sommelier, have those choices described to us with a few sips to try to help us choose. We had asked for suggestions, not for someone to simply choose for us without and description of the wines.
Nonni was a lovely little restaurant and a perfect place if you are looking to have a nice quiet date night! The food was outstanding! We had the Bruschetta for an app and then the Squid Ink Pasta and the Duck Breast which were both delicious! The Tiramisu was a nice way to end the meal with some sweet and coffee!
Would highly recommend Nonni for a couple looking for a very nice date night idea!
The I Nonni crew is absolutely fantastic in every facet. The food was amazing and the service we received from Alyssa and Dale was perfect.
We ate in the dining room. Decor and ambience are very nice. Noise level is a bit on the uncomfortable side. We were at the fireplace end of the dining room-farthest point from the bar, which was full. We were alone in the dining room for awhile, but even so the nearly full bar created a noticeable din’.
Our service was good and food excellent. As the dining room filled we noticed every table but ours had a bread basket of some sort. We did not see this on the menu. ???
We like I Nonni and will be back!
It was just right for my wife’s birthday.
Fantastic food! Would recommend the mushroom ravioli and add steak.
Started with mixed salad and the cauliflower. The salad dressing was a bit acidic, however the lettuce was fresh and overall good salad. The cauliflower was wonderful! Both of us had pasta—one with the fennel and sausage, one with the bucatini and meatballs. Both were delicious, although the fennel and sausage was a bit salty.
Menu seems to have downsized, not sure if this is in response to the change in ownership or the pandemic. Miss some of the traditionals, such as Clam Linguini.
Service was very pleasant. Well paced.
FABULOUS as always! We had Stephen serve us in the wine room and he could not have been a better server! So gracious and answered all our quesitons about food and drink. We could not have asked for better service! Amazing food always.....!
Love the happy hour. Good food. Easy to chat. Great service.
Food was amazing, great service, patio was perfect for pandemic dining.
The margarita pizza was delicious! The happy hour white wine also delicious!
And the serve was perfect. Looking forward to coming back.
Our dining experience was incredible! Amazing food and service on a fairly quiet patio. Can’t wait to return!
Salumi platter was outstanding! Cheeses were excellent!
Disappointed with the lamb chops, the quality of the meat was not good, and considering the $42 price, they should have been better! Portion of actual meat was very small, meat was tough and very fatty. I ordered the entree medium rare based on chef recommendation. I enjoy medium rare and these were cooked medium rare but the little meat there was was just tough and not tender. The sides accompanying the lamb chops were delicious, and the other entrees we ordered at the table were all outstanding. I would have rated outstanding for overall experience if this entree would have been better - but instead I left very disappointed. The $14 pizza at the table was better tasting than this dish.
Another successful Happy Hour on the patio 😍. Love their carafes of wine 🍷 and carpaccio platter!
Delicious food but the service was strange. We had 2 servers? Confusing and we had to ask twice for bread. Our entrees came but no silverware. I will chalk it up to reopening challenges. On a previous visit the service was attentive. Squid ink pasta was delicious
Still the finest calamari and carpaccio in the Twin Cities! Restaurant is as beautiful as ever. Ownership has made the proper adjustments to make you feel safe and at ease during your dining experience. Dale is doing a wonderful job as manager along with Gerson in kitchen its a tough to beat match-up. If you do make a reservation request Alyssa or Steven as your server and you won't be disappointed. Salut!
Covid restrictions in mind, I kept my desire for a place with white linen tablecloths in check. I thought sitting by the fire was wonderful and our waiter knowledgeable and refined. It was my birthday as we put on the reservation but there was no mention at the time of our visit. A little extra something offered would have been nice, but wasn't necessary. Really, my only negative is that there was no music. It was way too quiet.
Was disappointed in our last meal/experience. Received the wrong sides with my entree and when our party was finished with meal it took our server forever to remove plates. Totally uneven experience across food and service.
As always, a wonderful experience. Service was fabulous. Very friendly and efficient waiter. Food was great. Love going to this wonderful place.
This was our first dinner out since my wife’s birthday six months ago, thanks to Covid 19. 😷
It had to be Osteria I Nonni. This restaurant, menu, and the service never disappoints. Once again, we are delighted customers. 🙂
Artichokes were delicious as were the pasta dishes and pizza and the tiramisu and wines never disappoint. Portions were large. Service was excellent.
Beautiful space and food! Thank you for the wonderful service. Will be back!
It was the perfect background for a double date. Great atmosphere, wonderful food, and service was impeccable. We have been there before, but our guests had not, and they had nothing but wonderful things to say about it! We will be back!
Fabulous meal and wide selection of Italian wines.
