Lovely outdoor seating in the back on the water. Nice lights as the sun goes down. Servers were wonderful accommodating us as one of our guests was unavoidably late. Dinner and wine was delicious.
Staff was very friendly and on top of service. Food came out very quickly. The food was incredible, everything was absolutely amazing and we can’t wait to come back.
The dinner and apps were great. Wonderful salad and brucetta. We had mussels and the meat and cheese platter (enough for two). Everything was beautifully presented with excellent service. The have a nice wine selection by the glass too.
We have been dining at I Nonnis' for years. It was alway a 4 star. Now we were surprised to see baseball hats on outside, people wearing jeans, etc. It has become a non4star for us. We will go somewhere else for fine dining. So sorry to see our escape to fine dining go down the hill, but yet the menu prices remain high. Waiter was really good. Steven.
Loved everything about this restaurant
By far the best calamari we've had-- and we've tried many! And as usual, great service by the staff.
A very pleasurable dining experience.
my date & i had a terrific evening at your place. will come back again.
My first time at the restaurant. And it won’t be my last. It was delicious.
Great evening for a great celebration. Couldn't have been any better.
As always, the patio at the restaurant is a delightful place to dine. The service is impeccable as is the food. Hopefully, during COVID, they will add heat lamps in the winter so we can continue to enjoy their amazing food and extensive wine list.
Most of the people dinning outside appeared to be celebrating anniversaries. The quiet setting was perfect.
As close to Italy as you can get in St. Paul. Service was okay, but friendly. Food was very good. Great selection of wines.
the food is amazing- the service the best and the ambiance topnotch
Amazing food, better atmosphere
A special place for special occasions! We sat outside on a beautiful evening , had a great meal, and thoughtful attentive service.
Fantastic food and service! Beautiful patio and excellent staff!
The food recommendations were perfect. The food was absolutely perfect
This is the first time we came to I Nonni since the state-wide shutdown (February 20th)
It was a great experience to return and especially so because we were celebrating
our 50th wedding anniversary. It was well done by an excellent cook and staffing.
Wonderful, from beginning to end!
Love the patio!
The food was excellent but the service was marginal. My husband and I arrived about 5 minutes before our other couple. They were told there was no reservation under my name. Drinks took a very long time. We ordered an extra arancini and didn't get it. We had a birthday boy so got a complimentary dessert but never got the extra dessert we ordered and the server didn't even acknowledge the fact that he forgot it. We paid the bill and left.
Time spent at I Nonni is always enjoyable - especially when you can take advantage of a nice summer evening out on their patio!
We have been to Osteria many times but not since the pandemic. So, this time we sat outside and the space was very nice. However, we were disappointed in the quality of the food. Based on our previous experiences the food this time just did not measure up. Have they lost their Executive Chef?
Awesome food and service!
Pasta was tasteless — a big gluey mass of tagliatelle with a tasteless pesto and a couple of tiny meatballs.
Staff violated all of the COVID rules - allowed in a group of 6 non family people, none of them wore masks but nonetheless walked through the whole restaurant to a table. They were seated two feet from me until I asked for them to be moved to 6 feet.
Won’t be back.
Great patio in the back.
Had 3 for dinner and everything was delicious. Highly recommend this place.
Patio is beautiful, food and service top drawer.
Our server Vickie was wonderful. Overall it was a great meal. Thank you
Steven our server was attentive and very knowledgeable. the staff was friendly and the patio was fantastic. my wife and I celebrated our 19th wedding Anniversary that night and we couldn't have had a better time. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and patrons who were there that evening and shared our celebration with us.
Carpaccio is wonderful, pasta always good. Patio was lovely.
Really great food and I had a lovely server
Twice in 3 weeks! A gem of a restaurant providing great service, food and wine. Sitting on the patio listening to the water reminds me of dining out in Vail, CO, minus the mountains of course.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Service and timing were a bit off, which is unusual for I Nonni. We started with the calamari, always fresh. We had ordered Brussel sprouts but those never showed up. One person had the wild boar ragu, one had vongole and one had the pasta with mint pesto and lamb meatballs. All were very good.
Candles on the table would have been a welcome addition—a little hard to see outside as the sun sets.
We’ll be back!
My husband and I went on our first date in months and enjoyed a dinner outside on the patio. We had an awesome waitress and the staff was friendly and we felt safe.
Very pleasant to sit on patio.
Dale was the best server I have had in a long time! Very knowledgeable, kind and friendly!
Have rediscovered this place after not being there in a couple years and have been there twice in the last month. Totally authentic and delicious!
It's awesome! The food is authentic Italian and very well prepared. The outdoor patio was peaceful.
