This restaurant is a GEM!!! The staff was great. The owner, Lino was so the actual best. He let me come to the kitchen to meet the chef who cooked the BEST Carbonara I have ever had. (I asked if I could take him home!)
You will not be disappointed here!
The waiter Dan was very nice. Unfortunately the glassware was dirty and we had to ask three times for clean glasses when we were served wine. Left us with the attention to details was just okay. The eggplant dish was amongst the best ive had in a long time. But the Cesar salad was mediocre.
We loved the cozy atmosphere in the bar and dining area. I had the buratta and my friend had pizza - we enjoyed both!
By far the worst experience I have ever had from open table system. I feel your company has lost credibility by offering reservations to this “place” the absolute worst cold food I have ever been served, the quality was far below expectations it was microwaved slop!!! Do not eat her, do not eat here, DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!
Lovely dinner outdoors. Chris served us well. Food was delicious, so were the drinks.
Chewy bread, mediocre flavors, excruciatingly long wait for entrees. Don’t know why it’s rated so highly…
Fabulous birthday dinner !
Thank you to all who made our evening exceptional . Greeted and seated on the patio by your sweet hostess , we were already grateful as restaurant was busy . Yet not once did we feel rushed .
Our server , Miguel was professional , engaging but not officious .
Enrique , Miguel's Assistant , was quick with additional water , bread and an added voice on the birthday song .
Food was delicious ! Chicken parmigiana; oven backed lobster over risotto and linguini with shrimp .
We could not have been happier .
So appreciate the Birthday Tiramisu !
You made our evening in Santa Fe extra special ! Best meal we had during our 4 day visit .
Take Care ~ 🎉
Noisy, loud. Took an hour for antipasto to be served. Asked too many times, How is ___?
Amazing food, excellent service and atmosphere. Plan to go more often.
Service was fair, but to be expected during this labor shortage the country is experiencing. Food was mediocre.
We arrived from Canada, tired and surprised at how busy Santa Fe was. No restaurant availability anywhere. Osteria D’Assisi graciously accommodated our party of 4 on the enchanting patio, a magical evening. The service, atmosphere and perfect Italian fare were the special and fulfilling end of a long day. I highly recommend this restaurant, so professional and well managed. Hats off to the chef, my main dish with eggplant was exceptional.
Have eaten in this excellent restaurant many times over the past years while at the Wine & Chile Fiesta. They never fail to provide excellent food, wines and service. Usually eat here while in Santa Fe yearly.
We enjoyed our first visit here and we will definitely return.
Chris was a very friendly server. Even though they were short staffed, it didn’t feel like it. The drinks were strong and the food was great. I really enjoyed the cannelloni di zucca and the specials of the day were great too. Very nice experience
The BEST Italian cuisine in SF for sure. Service was outstanding as well. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to have authentic Italian food. Excellent wine list and cocktails. The Jalapeno Margarita was the BEST I had so far. And I have been to many restaurants in SF.
Great restaurant. Food was outstanding! Best tiramisu ever! Appetizers and entrees were great also. Only complaint is that some of the waiters had their masks lower than their noses.
Food is wonderful. Staff is fabulous!
EXCELLENT service from Dan. Great outside ambiance and food!!! Loved every minute if it!
We Loved the outdoor dining! Food was fabulous! Thanks!
Super evening on the patio. All four dinners drew raves.
Food was good, many interesting choices. Nice wine list with some options you don't often find. We sat outside and it was lovely. Pretty pricey for the level of food, the service was slow as the waiter seemed to be overworked. If you eat out often and are looking for variety, you'll probably enjoy this restaurant. If you only dine out occasionally, there are many other places I would choose first.
Chris was amazing as was the food and ambiance!
I love the people and the atmosphere of this restaurant. Sadly, every time I dine here it’s the same problem: the food is brought out lukewarm, if not cold and we have to send back. Someone in mgmt, please address this before it’s too late.
Outside of a wobbly table,, everything was very good.
Very good staff in tough times Food was excellent. Patio was ok
This is such a great place for an authentic Italian meal. Charming and inviting! Right in the heart of Santa Fe.
The service was attentive and friendly. The food was very fresh and tasty. Definitely worth a visit.
Really great waiter, food was delicious. Had burrata and sausage ragout, both were great.
It's a little hard to understand why Osteria D'Asissi lacks the buzz other restaurants in Santa Fe receive. Just because it has been around for a couple of decades is no reason to ignore it. Sure, it is suffering like all restaurants from staffing issues, but we all need to be patient.
Our first time here. Beautiful setting in courtyard/patio and the food and service were wonderful.
My husband and I sat on the patio at a table for two. Our table was adequately spaced from others. Our first course was heirloom tomatoes and goat cheese. Superb!! The entrees were lasagna bolognese and spinach fettuccini with chicken, spinach and a tomato cream sauce. It took a while to get waited on, but food was delicious!!
We loved dining here and will definitely come back on our next visit to this city!
There was one waiter that was trying to make a connections with a customer and was exceptionally loud with his bragging conversation. At times we he would drowned out table conversations. Our food was great but our waiter, while courteous, only came over to our table once serving our food.
The restaurant is cautions about infection control and the food is excellent. The service was superb.
The setting and outdoor patio is nice, the service was very good but the food was mediocre.
Chris was great
This was our first time to dine at Osteria D Assisi. We were in Santa Fe celebrating our Anniversary and chose the place. They were very busy but our server was friendly and efficient. The food was amazing! The atmosphere was great and we were able to meet the owner/executive chief, who is from Como di Lago Italy, where we had spent an Anniversary at 9 years ago. We showed him photos, which he loved and said he was homesick now! We would definitely return there when in Santa Fe!! It is the best restaurant we have been to in our 3 visits to the area!
Horrible! We were there 2.5 hours only got appetizers and drinks. Our entrees never arrived. We were the first ones seated in an upstairs empty dining room. We watched as the place filled up, everyone else around us got appetizers/drinks/entrees/dessert and we still got nothing. Our reservation was at 6 and by 8:45 we’d had it! To add insult to injury, the tab for 3 appetizers, 4 cocktails and a bottle of wine was $220 and we didn’t get dinner. Never returning.
Overall great experience , red sauce and white sauce both very nice
