Osteria d’Assisi has become our go to restaurant. Dining out in their tent which is toasty warm almost feels normal. David, our server, is terrific. The food was wonderful and the wine list excellent. We will be back soon. 😻🎉🎉🎉🎉
The food was awesomely delicious and the service was good.
Very accommodating, and very good food. They bend over backwards to please during these times.
David was our server. Excellent service. Great date night. First in months. Food was great. Almost felt normal. People in tent were enjoying themselves which was nice. A little noisy but ok. Nice people enjoying being out with no masks when eating & talking. Highly recommend.
The food was amazing! We also appreciated the staff for their amazing hospitality as OpenTable overbooked them & we were sitting outside the tents with heaters running. They ran out of gas to keep the heaters & rubbing, but accommodated us very quickly in moving us inside to one of their table’s upstairs. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves & we were able to enjoy an intimate date night on our last night in Santa Fe. We will def be back!
We’ve eaten here many times before and have always enjoyed it Immensely. Having said this, our dinner New Year’s Eve was any thing but good. I hate to say this but I feel the Resturant should know as we intend to return in anticipation that our bad experience was just a one off.
Prefixed menu was minimal. 2 of the 3 items I ordered were sold out for our 5:30pm reservation. Outdoor heat lamps did not work. The food we were served was delicious
Worst italian food. Don’t waste your money. No fresh ingredients.
We do not recommend going to Osteria D’Assisi. The food was absolutely awful, and on the website it was never specified that there was only the Christmas mente available. Service was poor too.
It is my favorite restaurant............................
I have been here many times and the food and service is excellent. One of the best places in Santa Fe.
We got to sit on the upper veranda inside where we had never been before. so lovely. We enjoyed a great Burrata freshly made melting in your mouth. Our dinners were perfectly cooked and the service was impeccable. As usual a really great experience
Made reservations with Open Table, wasn’t checked in by reservation. During Covid times and shut down coming on Monday, sad to hear. Overall a good experience and food was pretty delicious, had the linguine do Mare, some of the fish was a little over cooked for my likely. Also had the Piccata di Vitello ai Capperi in our party and it was very good almost wish I had ordered that myself. Service was somewhat slow considering not many patrons in the restaurant atleast that we saw. Would come back again on our next visit.
If you go on a Friday or Saturday evening, ask for Pietro! He is amazing - great conversation & he picked the best appetizers, meals, dessert & wine! Truly a great experience!
Excellent food and staff and a beautiful place. We love this restaurant- highly recommended.
Family night out. Cozy by the fire place on a chilly night. Comforting Italian dishes: Lasagne, Osso buco, chicken fettuccine. Nice variety of wines by the glass. Also fresh bread & hot chocolate. Yum!
All staff were attentive. They strive to give a good experience. The food is so tasty and cannot be duplicated at home. Ingredients are quality. Would love to return.
Tables were socially distanced, food was absolutely delicious and the service was perfect. It's one of our very favorite places in Santa Fe. We can't wait to come back!
Very nice people but not a true Italian Restaurant.
Always great food - we had the oysters as an appetizer and they were delicious. Pietro always helps us with our selections and chooses the best wine.
Always a must when in Santa Fe! Amazing place!
This is my favorite "go to" Santa Fe restaurant. Excellent on all fronts. Thanks.
Excellent service, beautiful ambience and wonderful authentic Italian food!
It’s always a pleasure to dine at Osteria. The food and service are excellent!
Celebrated my birthday and the outside patio was well lit and warm with portable heaters. Service was outstanding with our server Daniel. Not sure if the bartender knew of my Bday but the pour on my whiskey was very generous! Always a favorite place of ours for quality food and experience.
Nice wine list, great service, excellent food.
The location is very close to the downtown square. They have a very quaint outdoor patio with lovely heaters! The food was incredibly delicious, fresh and innovative! I will be recommending this place to my friends when I visit Santa Fe again!
Sat outside and waited 15 minutes before a server came to table (COVID 19???). Run of the mill Italian fare...nothing exceptional. Caesar salad had a mayonnaise dressing that had no flavor (hint: add garlic!). Margaritas were very good.
Delicious with great atmosphere! Will be back next time I’m in Santa Fe
Beautiful architecture gave a warm tuscany environment as we enjoyed our
pasta. The waitor was very courteous and welcoming.
Lovely atmosphere and excellent food. I had the eggplant and it was the best I’ve ever had.
Owner on vacation and it showed. Veal piccatta was tough as a boot and had no flavor. My wife's linguini di mare was just ok. I wouldn't go here unless you know the owner is present.
Frustrating dining experience to say the least. To start, there was a wait even though there appeared to be plenty of room (no big deal), and the establishment lost our reservation (what?). Seated outside on a chilly evening, though their appeared to be room elsewhere. Started out with one server, then another after they had a brief conversation in our vicinity. Odd. Our waitress, the manager, and the other staff all seemed very overwhelmed, for what looked to be a fairly quaint evening. Of course, COVID throws some serious wrenches into even the best plans, so we took this with a grain of salt. What could not be overlooked was the curt service, and bang average food. The Osso Bucco and chicken Parmesan were not hits. Maybe this restaurant has better days - the location and ambiance were fantastic - but our night was tepid at best, and a bust at worst.
Wonderful Italian cuisine
Love this Italian restaurant where almost everything is from Italy. The service is excellent, very friendly. The food is amazing. I had the special seafood pasta, ate as much as I could and still had enough left to take home.
My family has been eating here for years, it was good, but not the same. The food has been better.
Food was very good but our waiter was very, very slow!
Charming patio. Food was excellent- I had Caesar salad and an Eggplant-Zucchini parmesan that was wonderful.
The service was lovely and efficient. We really enjoyed it and can’t wait to return.
Dependably good food and good service. I will definitely eat there again.
