Osteria Cucina Rustica
We begin with the freshest ingredients of the highest quality all prepared to order using family recipes passed down from generation to generation. The astronomic experience begins with the hospitality from the moment you walk through the iron forged doors. Next is the food where the love is present in each dish. The house made pasta to the freshest seafood to the dry aged steaks and our unique deserts made daily by our pastry chef make our uniqueness discernible.
The Bongiovanni and Botta families welcome you to Osteria, where we promise that you will come as a guest and leave as family.
This restaurant came highly recommended and my group thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Normally very very good - this last time the food was off but will continue to go back
Outstanding Italian cuisine, with lovely staff. Great restaurant to visit in Naples!
We have been to Osteria Cucina many times and everything has always been exceptional. The food and waiters are always wonderful. I had the chicken wings which was cooked to perfection and delicious.
Quiet night following the busy holiday season. Celebrating my daughter leaving to study abroad from a semester. Service and ambiance were outstanding. The wait staff was attentive and made the evening enjoyable. The food came out quickly and the sea bass special was great. The Nutella pizza for dessert is a “must-try”. I will be back.
Our waiter Henry was awesome! He was very accommodating as we had two children with us. Would definitely recommend Osteria Cucina. The food was delicious and there were so many good specials!
Overall the experience was excellent. The calamari app was tender and perfectly cooked. I had the pasta in brandy cream sauce baked in foil and it was outstanding. Both of my guests dishes (chicken parm and a shrimp pasta dish were equally delicious). Wait staff was adequate. Could have been a bit more attentive but overall it was fine.
Took my mom for her 85th birthday and was promised a special birthday song and dessert. What she got was a single strawberry in a teacup saucer with a giant sparkler. I was humiliated and so was my mom - even more so because they sang to her while presenting such an incredibly embarrassing display. The owner should have simply mentioned to me that I needed to purchase a dessert and they would do the rest. After the strawberry fiasco I was compelled to then ask for a piece of cake for my mom. They did bring her the cake but the waiter returned to our table, took back the check and added the cake to the bill. Seriously?! The bill was $350 for 5 ppl so one would think you would get better customer service and top treatment for a special occasion especially one as special as an 85th birthday. About the food, everything was really good until the entree which was just so so. Three of us ordered the jumbo shrimp with risotto and the shrimp were hard and completely unseasoned and the risotto was way too creamy. I wish I could say it was an excellent experience, but unfortunately it was average at best! And my mom continues to apologize which makes it much worse. Sorry Osteria you’re not in NYC so please get off your high horse and take good care of your neighbors!
The restaurant is beautiful , and the food was amazing. Our waiter was Mike and he was fabulous. He was very attentive, has a thorough knowledge of the menu and gave us plenty of great suggestions and plenty time to enjoy the food. I like a variety so I like to “ share “ my dates dinner , Mike was totally on my page as he split everything for us! The presentation was as wonderful as the flavor. We really appreciated the extra special attention. We will definitely be back. Btw, we had The Cacio E Pepe and the pork chop! DELICIOUS!
Great food and service
Great service food was delicious. Looking forward to going back.
We sat in the wine room, it was beautiful and quiet. Food and service were outstanding.
For a birthday dinner. Had a fantastic waiter but other than that the food was ok. Over cooked pasta with little flavor and the pizzas were also lacking in flavor. Calamari probably the only tasty thing consumed. The acoustics were so bad and it was so loud no one could hear each other. Would probably not return nor recommend.
Great Food. Decent Pricing. Cool Atmosphere. Good Service.
Great food and excellent service!
From the minute we walked we were greeted by a friendly hostess . We sat right away and was soon greeted by a waiter who introduced him self and welcomed us to the restaurant. Waiter and bus boys were very attentive but not over bearing. From our appetizers to the entrees the food was incredible. Great cocktails and great wine. A+!
Always perfect from the service to the food
Great dinner for our daughter’s 18th birthday!!
Great place fantastic food and the perfect place for a special dinner
Service was outstanding will dine here again!! Really enjoyed it
Food was hit or miss. Some great, more sub par. Great service.
The service was great and the food so good.
PHENOMENAL- flat out 👏👏👏
Fabulous food and staff!
This is the place we choose to go to for my wife’s 50th Birthday Dinner just me and her. We had friends who have gone to Osteria and spoke highly about the place. In my opinion, the place was good but did not live up to what we expecting. Granted it could be because it was a Monday night perhaps there’s a better vibe later in the week. However, Service and food we good but no more then that. I may revisit in the future.
Great food and service.
Food was amazing. Our waiter Mike was awesome. We sat outside and the people smoking by the entrance was not good. Also, they need to tell people how much specials are. We had a crabmeat and shrimp app that was amazing, but it was $40. We would definitely order it again, but it would be nice to know how much specials are before ordering.
This is a nice restaurant. The Pollo Rustica is to die for! The table we were seated at was in the sun by the time 6:00 p.m. rolled around. We came at 5:05 p.m., and it was early in the evening. They weren't busy on a Wednesday night, so I'm not sure why it took an hour to serve our food. We didn't order anything complicated. The breads and toppings were excellent. I wasn't told that the water was $7.00 for each bottle, so the $14.00 charge on our bill was a surprise. I thought all plain, flat water was complimentary. Obviously, they charge for water. If we would have been given the choice for tap water, that would have been fine for us. The flank steak was tasty, but tough. The bass special stuffed with lobster and crab was okay, but not something my husband would order again for $42.00. My son's calzone was good. We will go back again, but we will order the Pollo Rustica and get tap water and make sure we don't have to switch tables again. That was kind of a pain. Overall, it is a nice restaurant. (They do need to dust their wine bottles that are up high on display, however.)
This is not our first time at Osteria Cucina. We have been there before and enjoyed our meals, but we came back to try the steaks. My wife and I shared the Porterhouse. The steak was delicious and prepared as we requested. Our appetizer of shrimp and calimari in a Fra Diavolo sauce was delicious as well.
Our waiter, Steve, was outstanding. He was very helpful and friendly.
Every thing was perfect. Happy we went thrre
From the waiter to the food...absolutely fabulous!!
Food is typically
Incredible! Awesome! Every single time!
Our food was great Sat night but the service was slow. We sat outside and it didn't appear to have more than 2 servers with several helpers cleaning tables. The music was piped outside and pretty loud. We went there to have a quiet romantic dinner but the music took over.
Over priced. Service was very poor, didn't even deserve the 1 star. Noise level was unbearable . Would not recommend .
Love this place!! Absolutely love the oyster appetizer! Great service great food!!!
I go there about once a week and it is always awesome
Service = great
This is the closest you can come to italy outside of italy
Great food and drinks
Nothing special. Restaurant was under renovation so no ambience. Food was just OK. Not bad for a family night out, but not for a special occasion.
