Osteria Cucina Rustica
Osteria translated in Italian literally means "a place where the owner hosts his guests." At Osteria Cucina Rustica we follow in that tradition. Life long friends Steven Botta and Angelo Bongiovanni have collaborated to design and recreate an authentic Osteria. A warm atmosphere along with impeccable service and family recipes make for an unparalleled dining experience.
We begin with the freshest ingredients of the highest quality all prepared to order using family recipes passed down from generation to generation. The astronomic experience begins with the hospitality from the moment you walk through the iron forged doors. Next is the food where the love is present in each dish. The house made pasta to the freshest seafood to the dry aged steaks and our unique desserts made daily by our pastry chef make our uniqueness discernible.
The Bongiovanni and Botta families welcome you to Osteria, where we promise that you will come as a guest and leave as family.
Dinner was good. Martinis were delish & service was excellent!
80th birthday and 61st anniversary
Everyone loved their meal. We started with the meatball and grilled octopus appetizers. Both were delicious. We had fish and pasta for dinner. The entrees were so delicious and large. We had plenty of leftovers . The service and table on the patio were both great. Thank you fir a wonderful evening !
Thank you Nef for an unbelievable outdoor dining experience! Osteria has multiple tents set up to dine outdoors. We sat at the “typical” outdoor section, but under a tent which was perfect because in the middle of our meal it started down pouring. We did not even realize it was raining, let alone storming heavily. The tent is very high quality and the table set up is in a way where you don’t even get wet! There is a section within the parking lot as well.
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was safe and open. Majority of the staff kept their masks on and the energy around the restaurant was extremely positive and energetic! I was able to celebrate my birthday outdoors with a couple of friends and it turned into the perfect night!
As always, food and service were delicious! Halibut Oreganato was excellent. Love the salads and the octopus appetizer.
Everything from the bread bowl to the final desert was perfection
Very nice for the area.
Pasts is too oily and. Entre consists of too much sauce!!!!
Best food, and Mike is the most amazing server!
First time dining at this restaurant and was impressed. Service was very good, waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable about both the menu and the restaurant. It was quiet but it was a tuesday early evening so can't really comment on the noise level. Place was warm and welcoming, a little pricey but everything is pricey today. Would definitely go back and try some other things on the menu. Hostess told us there is a Happy Hour and they have a huge bar so looking forward to trying that also!!
Friend’s birthday
Excellent service and quality food!
The dinner was delicious as usual never been disappointed although this was the first time I didn’t eat one of the specials because of the limited menu and disappointed over running out of ravioli buy 930
The service was a great but the food doesn’t taste good nice restaurant
Delicious food, amazing service, cozy ambiance and great restaurant. Victor is a fantastic server!
Amazing food and service. My wife and I regularly go into NY City for dinner and prefer the finer restaurants. Well, we have found one right here in our own town! Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. A true gem. I highly recommend,
Great atmosphere and attentive staff. I had the Chilean sea bass with black rice and it was so delicious! Rice was cooked perfectly. My husband had the veal chop and he cleaned his plate. We shared a half portion of the cacio e pepe, so we were definitely stuffed at the end of the night. But... still had room for chocolate soufflé cake. Coffee was ok, but love when restaurants bring out steamed milk with it. Top notch to say the least.
Always excellent!
I Loved it !!! Great food. Rich feel to the interior. Cozy.
We ordered chicken parmigiana it came dry and cheese. Burned the shrimp with risotto came dry and tasteless
Salad and desert were good
Great local Italian restaurant. Our food was delicious. Another plus is the availability of dry aged steaks as good as any New York steakhouse. Friendly and knowledgable wait staff.
My friend and I had an excellent dinner ... from start to finish , everything was perfect! One of my very favorite restaurants ... never disappoints!m
This restaurant has gotten too popular that the quality has deteriorated. With this level of pricing, I expect better and consistent quality. Also, the restaurant is very noisy with everyone trying to talk over the others.
This restaurant came highly recommended and my group thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Normally very very good - this last time the food was off but will continue to go back
Outstanding Italian cuisine, with lovely staff. Great restaurant to visit in Naples!
We have been to Osteria Cucina many times and everything has always been exceptional. The food and waiters are always wonderful. I had the chicken wings which was cooked to perfection and delicious.
Quiet night following the busy holiday season. Celebrating my daughter leaving to study abroad from a semester. Service and ambiance were outstanding. The wait staff was attentive and made the evening enjoyable. The food came out quickly and the sea bass special was great. The Nutella pizza for dessert is a “must-try”. I will be back.
Great food & atmosphere friendly service!
Our waiter Henry was awesome! He was very accommodating as we had two children with us. Would definitely recommend Osteria Cucina. The food was delicious and there were so many good specials!
Overall the experience was excellent. The calamari app was tender and perfectly cooked. I had the pasta in brandy cream sauce baked in foil and it was outstanding. Both of my guests dishes (chicken parm and a shrimp pasta dish were equally delicious). Wait staff was adequate. Could have been a bit more attentive but overall it was fine.
Took my mom for her 85th birthday and was promised a special birthday song and dessert. What she got was a single strawberry in a teacup saucer with a giant sparkler. I was humiliated and so was my mom - even more so because they sang to her while presenting such an incredibly embarrassing display. The owner should have simply mentioned to me that I needed to purchase a dessert and they would do the rest. After the strawberry fiasco I was compelled to then ask for a piece of cake for my mom. They did bring her the cake but the waiter returned to our table, took back the check and added the cake to the bill. Seriously?! The bill was $350 for 5 ppl so one would think you would get better customer service and top treatment for a special occasion especially one as special as an 85th birthday. About the food, everything was really good until the entree which was just so so. Three of us ordered the jumbo shrimp with risotto and the shrimp were hard and completely unseasoned and the risotto was way too creamy. I wish I could say it was an excellent experience, but unfortunately it was average at best! And my mom continues to apologize which makes it much worse. Sorry Osteria you’re not in NYC so please get off your high horse and take good care of your neighbors!
The restaurant is beautiful , and the food was amazing. Our waiter was Mike and he was fabulous. He was very attentive, has a thorough knowledge of the menu and gave us plenty of great suggestions and plenty time to enjoy the food. I like a variety so I like to “ share “ my dates dinner , Mike was totally on my page as he split everything for us! The presentation was as wonderful as the flavor. We really appreciated the extra special attention. We will definitely be back. Btw, we had The Cacio E Pepe and the pork chop! DELICIOUS!
Great food and service
Great service food was delicious. Looking forward to going back.
We sat in the wine room, it was beautiful and quiet. Food and service were outstanding.
For a birthday dinner. Had a fantastic waiter but other than that the food was ok. Over cooked pasta with little flavor and the pizzas were also lacking in flavor. Calamari probably the only tasty thing consumed. The acoustics were so bad and it was so loud no one could hear each other. Would probably not return nor recommend.
Great Food. Decent Pricing. Cool Atmosphere. Good Service.
Pasta fagoliiiiiiiiiiiii
Great food and excellent service!
