Excellent food and service. One our favorite spots in the strip.
It was perfect for my anniversary! Great vibe good food!
Great food!
The night was excellent after being couped up for months. Ask for Sarah. She’s fun, efficient and works hard to make it a great night. The other staff all helped too and did it with a perfect attitude. Kudos to this place in difficult times. We will be back
Unassuming, relaxing restaurant with a fun menu. My gluten-friendly pizza and salad were delicious. My husband ordered shrimp & grits, said it was amazing. We will return soon!!!
Very poor service. We ordered first thing both our dinner and drinks. We waited quite some time for our food but our drinks never came. We had to remind the waiter to bring them, he brought over one drink than instead if making the other he brought a different one that was already made. Then proceeded to say “when I have time I’ll make the other one”. The whole meal was like they forgot about us and we didn’t matter. To end it I even had to walk my check up to the waiter since he never came back to the table after dropping them off.
Service and food was terrific.
Must add to our regular places.
The table that we sat at almost fell over at one point. They were out of Papperdalle , but did not mention it - so I got spaghetti instead. Mixed up order of meatball on the side.
Best part was potato leak soup. Much better Italian out there.
Great gnocchi and tomato sauce, delicious Caesar salad with anchovies
Food is always right on par. Never busy so wait staff is attentive. Enjoyed dining.
Very good food. Service a bit slow but didn’t interfere with the evening. Saw Ted Danson! Overall, first experience here was great. Would definitely go back.
One of our favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh!
It was okay. I would not be tempted to return
I have never been to Osteria before. I went for Restaurant Week in Pittsburgh. Loved the food and service. The only drawback were the chairs were not comfortable. I would go back though.
This was our first visit to the restaurant and we were pleased. We arrived early and the wait staff accommodated us to the hilt. When we ordered, the food arrived in timely fashion, and was excellent. We will definitely return to Osteria in the future.
Went for restaurant week. The jambalaya was great!
Great food, service and atmosphere. Try the wedding soup, you will love it!
Pasta wasn’t hot. Veal piccata over seasoned with black pepper. Portion was very small.
Food and service both very good. Food a very good value considering the quality and cost. Definitely recommend dining here.
We went for happy hour and then ordered entrees. The $5 apps were good tried the stuffed banana peppers. The entrees were average and cost more than their value. I will go back for happy hour but not sure if I'd get entrees there again. Overall just average.
Osteria was alright. We went there for New Years Eve expecting a little more upscale place. It was nice but not upscale. We were seated in front of the door even though there were many empty tables. The waitress was very pleasant and the service was good. My family liked their food however said it was nothing special. I felt the same about my food also. We probably would go back if we were in the area but would not drive 25 minutes to get there.
Food was unique and excellent quality. Service was very good. Definitely would go back.
There were 4 of us in our party and we were all disappointed with our experience. The beans and greens were completely under cooked and underwhelming. The mussels, in an elegant sauce, should have come with bread or crostini or something to sop up the sauce (we did ask and they did bring but I'm not sure if we were charged for the bread). The pasta primavera was an unusual presentation and very soup like and also underwhelming. The pizza could have been the star but the artichoke topping was heavy and made the pizza wet and overwhelmed the crust (I would try the pizza again, though, but stick with the hot sausage). The house salad was the biggest disappointment -- the dressing was almost pure olive oil (red wine vinaigrette it was not!) and also very underwhelming for an Italian restaurant. When asked, we told the waiter that there didn't seem to be any vinegar in the dressing and he just shrugged. As for atmosphere, our only complaint is they have those awful chairs that you can't hang a coat or purse on. It was to be the first annoyance of the evening.
Held an office holiday dinner at Osteria 2350 and was very pleased with the food and service. Overall it was a very good experience!
Awesome place. Chef was great , came to table to ask how the meals were. We will be back there.
It is a nice spot for a date night or a group gathering. When you walk in you can smell and see the food being prepared. Everything from the app to main course to dessert was delicious! I was still raving about it the next day. 10/10 would go again and would recommend to anyone.
Great place
The food had too much pepper, otherwise it was good.
We were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant & we found it at Osteria. We especially appreciated the pasta is homemade, on-site. Much to our surprise we were able to have a gluten-free option for one member of our party! All our choices were delicious. Our server was friendly, helpful & efficient. We hope to come back if we are in Pittsburgh again.
The food was very good. I had the Bruschetta and Pork Confit Ragu for dinner. The Bruschetta was very fresh and the bread was lightly toasted. Toasted enough to get the "rawness" out but not so toasted as to make unbearably hard to chew. The Pork Confit Ragu was very good. The pasta could have been dressed in the sauce a little better as it was a little bit chewy but not enough to takeaway from the overall meal. The pork was very tender. The only complaint i have was the dessert. I choose the Baklava Cheesecake It was served cold and was almost impossible to eat. The dessert consisted of a Phyllo pastry top, an oat or nut filling, cheesecake, and then the crust. Because it was served cold the pastry had wielded itself together and was very hard to cut with a fork. Tried a knife and the dessert literally fell apart. The pastry was very chewy and not crisp at all. Would definitely recommend to a friend but recommend they skip the Baklava Cheesecake.
Connor provided some of the best service we've had at our lunchtime get-togethers - attentive but not intrusive. The menu choices were just what we were looking for - soups, salads, flatbreads and impressive appetizers. Wine list with interesting choices. We'll be back !
My parents and I went to Osteria for my birthday dinner on Saturday, October 26th. The vibe of the restaurant was cute and cozy, with dim lighting that allowed us to still see. Bobby was our server. He was friendly, kind, and knowledgable. We had the bruschetta as an appetizer and it was the best I have ever had. All of our entrees were delectable. Bobby put a candle in my dessert and wrote "Happy 23rd Birthday" on the plate, which made the night all the more amazing. I would highly recommend.
This is one of my favorite places. I had an exceptional date night there. The food was wonderful, the ambience was relaxing and friendly. This is definitely a quaint and posh restaurant. The dishes we had were amazing, i will be returning over and over.
The bread was absolutely outstanding, I’d go back simply to eat that in the various versions they do. The 2350 sandwich was great, chicken nice and tender which is always a worry for a sandwich. Service was awesome, just the right amount of attentive, and knowledgeable too. Highly recommend eating here!
everything about this place is exceptional - food - service- atmosphere
The polenta with Italian sausage was very good, and just the right portion. We come here often and the food is consistently good. The on-site pastry chef is a plus. Wonderful tiramisu. We love their salads.
Melissa was wonderful! Great happy hour specials and lots of menu options. The mussels appetizer was a little bland. The flavor of my chicken piccata was great, but the pasta was a little over cooked. Definitely try the Cannoli ice cream!
Overall we enjoyed our meal at Osteria. We really like to more casual atmosphere of the restaurant, more casual than many of the Italian restaurants in the city. Overall, the food was outstanding and an excellent value. There was some confusion around getting seated, and we didn't end up at a high top, which was fine. We were immediately able to order as the menu is concise and straight forward, so we got our order in quickly. After that, we waited for quite a while and hadn't yet received our appetizer as other around us were being served.
It became clear that our server hadn't put our order in. At a certain point, the manager finally came over and said that there was a backup in the kitchen and that our appetizer would be coming and it would be on her. There were no other issues beyond that - honestly I think that it was a new server who made a mistake. Once we were past that, food came out quickly and it was excellent. The appetizer was comped and I was honestly shocked at how inexpensive the meal was.
The bottom line is it is a cool place with great food. A little mixup on the order isn't a deal-breaker. We had to wait a little longer than I would like, but would definitely go back again
Service from Sarah and Sheila was excellent. Food was great as usual.
Osteria 2350 is a definite favorite of ours. The food is consistently good and the staff does a great job of making us feel welcome. We’ve introduced your restaurant to friends from outside of the Strip District and now they’re regulars as well.
