Went there for mother's day. Overall, it was a very good experience. Wine recommendation was A+ :)
Food was good but a bit expensive. The ambiance was not nice because it was almost empty at 8:30pm. Maybe it was late...
We had reservations but didn't need them. The place was empty.
Beautiful atmosphere and the food was amazing. However extremely over-priced and the waiter that was serving us was sarcastic and rude to his colleagues which made us very uncomfortable. He might have been the owner. A friend later who dined at the same restaurant mentioned they had a similar experience and would not go back. Maybe that is why the place was so empty on a Saturday night.

I would not recommend this Ossiano. Prices are very high for quality and portion size. There are much better restaurants out there. Don't waste your money.
When we arrived, we were taken to the second floor as an event was being held in the main area. WE ordered drinks and then food arrived. 4 -U6 shrimp came at a cost of $50. Way overpriced and the quality was not fresh. The recommended sirloin steak was OK but it was half fat. The Lamb chops were extra rare and had no flavor. Staff seem to be preoccupied with what was happening downstairs and were hard to reach. Should have paid attention to the reviews I read and not the recommendations of a friend. Will not return.
Had the oysters and octopus as a main - perfectly executed
Too expensive, limited menue, poor service. I waved at the waiter at least 8 times and he walked by us like we were invisible. I looked at an other waiteresse and she helped us. Unaceptable in a restaurent of that class.
Went for their Valentines day supper however we weren't aware it was a fixed menu. Nothing was noted on their website which was a little disappointing as we were looking forward to eating something on the actual menu. We had to stay since everywhere else was fully booked. Our waiter was great as he was very patient. Food was good but service was slow in between courses even with a fixed menu. One can only imagine during regular service. Overall we still enjoyed the meals.
Very good food, very nice presentation, nice ambiance and good service!! It's been my third time when I went and I recommend this restaurant, it's worth to try it!!
Excellent service, filet mignon, salmon and oysters were very good but way overpriced. Presentation lacked finishing touches. We most likely won’t return.

Overall good experience however due to size of restaurant it was a bit on the cold side.

The lunch menu comes with soup ( today it was lentil) or a green salade. On occasion they offer a third choice but not this week.
The filet mignon brochette beautifully presented on a sword like skewer, season and cooked perfectly. The whole fish dish was also cooked and seasoned so well served with sautéed spinach with a hint of garlic. I felt I was eating seaside at a spa. We also had a pan seared Bassa on a bed of ratatouille, it was light tasty and delicious. Our gracious server brought us the house cheesecake bite with a coulis and a flavoured meringue puff, along with coffees.
Ossiano is the west islands best kept secret lunch spot !

We went on a Thursday night. It was almost empty. Had about 3 tables with customers. They had a private party upstairs though. Still food took very long to come. Very overpriced for the value. Paella is $40/person which we had. Really not worth $80 for 2. Asked for a dry grey goose martini - it tasted as if it was made from orange vodka. Wasn't too bad so did not complaint.
May go for lunch but dinner is not worth it. Too bad because it can be a pretty nice place but it looks as if this location is jinxed. Nothing lasts.
Excellent food & decor ! We had a cream of carrot soup & green salad to start then a whole grilled fish with spinach & a casserole of mussels, chicken & sausage in a tomato based sauce. They were both great! The dessert this week was a pumpkin roll with a sweet cream cheese filling.
We also recently made a special request for roast prime rib & it was among the best we’ve had. They prepared garlic mashed potatoes, grilled mushrooms & sautés spinach . A fantastic treat!
Was expecting way too much I guess from a "Mediterranean " restaurant. Oysters were good... but then again there is no cooking involved. Fish was bland, meat was chewy, drinks were not very good either. Overpriced for the quality of food delivered. They should definitely warn about having large parties during dinner hours... maybe they should concentrate on one or the other...food for thought.
Great ambiance and loved the open kitchen - beautiful restaurant so I was very disappointed by the quality of the food coming out if the kitchen. Overpriced for level of quality. Octopus was tiny and burned to a char - had to return and dish we ordered was mediocre and meh.. I would only go back a wick drink maybe an app to enjoy beauty of the place. Sorry but must say was very disappointed.
Everything was excellent except if they have a function such as a wedding they should advise when making a reservation because the noise level is extremely high with the music playing at full blast and you are dining and cannot have a normal conversation without having to compete with the noise. Very unpleasant to have to yell to converse
Great dinner and ambiance. Service was a bit slow but this was due in our view that there were two weddings at the same time.
We were disappointed in the quality of the food given the price point. Excellent service and nice ambiance but poor value. The octopus was tough and the paella mediocre. Presentation was nice but overall, not worth the money.
This is very expensive restaurant so everything has to be just right. Seafood was tasty but slightly overcooked. Filet Mignon was excellent, on a bed of mashed potatoes with pepper sauce but nothing else on the plate like a vegetable. Oysters were great and so was lemon tart for dessert. Ambiance is not great but that is a personal opinion. Dimming the lights as it gets dark should be an automatic. Lastly techno music is not that appealing especially for the Friday night crowd that was mostly over 50.

Ossiano is easily one of the BEST restaurants not only in the West Island but the entire city. Under estimated, under used and under appreciated. Plenty of parking, beautiful decor, friendly service and above all GREAT food. Admittedly I take advantage of their fantastic lunch menu. 3 courses starting at $19, I mean it’s a NO BRAINER for lunch.
Beef or Tuna burgers, tartars, whole grilled fish, cassoulets, steak, shish kebab, lamb chops, leg of lamb, shell fish, pastas etc...omg !
Choice of at least 2 appetizers, dessert and tea or coffee. 🤷♂️
I have made a few special requests in the past
I love Rib steak, so they found and prepared gigantic tomahawk steaks we have for the whole family. Carved table side a “real treat”!
They have also prepared prime rib roast, I must say it is even better that the grilled tomahawk ( not on the menu at all but worth asking for in advance!) all the sides you can imagine or want they will prepare and do it right.
Their bar is also one of the nicest you’ll ever see.
It’s like a night club !
Can’t wait to go back next week...
Had to return my steak that was not cook properly my wife had a pais and for the price it was very ordinary !

We were excited to sit on the patio and try their “cocktails” only to find out they didn’t have any special cocktails. Oh okay. We sat out anyways on the big patio and had a drink then moved in for dinner. The food presentation was lovely and the taste of everything truly delicious. Our waitress on the other hand was scattered and didn’t fit the elegant surroundings.
The attentive busboy would have been a better server.
They also had run out of fish of the day which was weird since the restaurant was almost empty. But we enjoyed what we ate. We also think they might try a larger serving of wine for the price they charge. We would go back again.
Salad dressing was bland. The main course did not have much flavor. Wine by the glass was mediocre. It is typical banquet bland food not worth the premium price. The dessert was the best part.
The service and restaurant was excellent. Only thing that really bothered me was getting a half eaten roll in the basket which means they recycle breads. :s. Mentioned it to the waitor but didn't make a fuss as it was for a special occasion and didn’t want to ruin the night.
This was enough for me not to recommend it which is sad as everything else was amazing.
Our server Hammish was amazing! The food was delicious & the restaurants decor is beautiful. We did have an issue with one of our meals and it was taken care in a timely fashion. Beinggeomthe states I looked for a restaurant online to bring my mom to for mother’s day. So glad to have found this place. Was the firsts of many dinners to come.Cantwaitto go back!!!

I went with my best friend to celebrate a special occasion and we were both impressed with our dining experience at this lovely restaurant. The service was top rate! The Tuna salad lunch special was to die for and don't forget to leave room for dessert! We had their special pear ice-cream dessert and it was delicious. Highly recommend and we shall be back :)
Aside from being a beautiful restaurant with professional and fun servers, I had the best filet mignon brochette ever ! When the dish arrived with the stainless steel skewer it is impressively presented. Then our server Sean professionally and skillfully removed the cooked filet mignon from the skewer to make the meal easier to consume. Perfectly spiced and cooked with a great dipping sauce and delicious sides of grilled veggies along with baby roasted potatoes.
I highly recommend this dish when it is on the menu !
The service was excellent, waiter was very approachable and helpful, not rushed. Overall loud, business seminar was being held and was close and after it finished people stood and got louder
