My husband and I came here for date night and im counting down the days until when we can come back! The food and ambience and amazing. We had the bread and deviled eggs to start and I had the chef's special Bouillbase and my husband had the cod. Normally we try each others but neither of us wanted to share, it was THAT GOOD. For dessert we shared thr butterscotch pot de creme and this was the best dessert I've ever had (and im a big dessert person). Debating about driving back from Sacramento just for dessert. I will be back!

One of my favorite restaurants because it has more interesting menu and preparation than your typical Napa restaurant where mashed potatoes are a boring side dish. Always look forward to my meal there with a yummy butterscotch pudding to top it off. Glad the miso salmon is back on the menu.

I enjoyed all the flavors in the Baked Oysters. Really well done and visually nice too. I also had the shrimp and grits which are more of a stew than I am used to for that type of dish but it was PERFECT. Again, great flavors brought out. The service was excellent and their cocktails are unique (I had the Lime Rickey).

It was Girls night out and the food did not disappoint in fact it exceeded my expectations!! I had been to Oso once before and it hadn’t been my favorite ( I had the mussels !) I was willing to try it again an I’m sooooo glad I did !!!! We had the deviled eggs , shrimp and grits and the Patatas !!!! Crazy awesome deliciousness!!! I will be Back!!

This was, by far, our favorite restaurant and food during our stay in Sonoma. We went to plenty of different restaurants, but this had the best tasting food, at a surprisingly reasonable price. A good cocktail too! Our party shared 10 or 12 different items and we cleaned the plates! Highly recommend.

Great variety of food. The oysters were fresh, bbq ribs yummy and patatas bravos delicious and very shareable. Corkage fee $25 but if you bought a bottle no fee.

They do vegan well and will work with you on food intolerances. Great cheesy shrimp and grits ( requested no garlic and was appeased. ) Hostess could be friendlier. Overall server got us what we needed.

Wow. For some reason I am perpetually let down by highly rated restaurants, but this place not only lived up to its reviews, but blew me away. Unassuming from its outside appeal, this place wowed me from the first bite to the last. The seafood bouillabaisse was to. die. for. Fresh halibut, shrimp, clams and mussels, and you didn’t even need bread, it was incredible. Great cocktails, laid back atmosphere, and quick service were at a discount. Definitely make a reservation and sit out back if the weather is nice too!

The food at Oso is excellent. We had the Asian Brussels Sprouts, Korean Ribs, Seasonal Salad, Patatas Bravas and a carafe of Sangria. All were superb, as usual at Oso.

The food was great! Oysters were nice and fresh, the shrimp tacos really good. The steak tacos were good, but just a tad too spicy. Stand outs were deviled eggs and for dessert the fruit and pretzels. Nice combo of salty and sweet. Our waiter was great! Friendly and helpful with choices

We were warmly greeted. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and specials. The Lime Rickey cocktail was delicious. Refreshing and had a great blend of flavors. The appetizer with burrata, tomatoes, pesto and peaches was so good. The peaches were ripe and the olive oil with the tomatoes, pesto and cheese were delicious. It came with grilled bread. It was large enough to share with 2 people. The ceviche had an array of shrimp and salmon. Fresh tasting and flavorful. The deviled eggs were incredibly creamy with a hint of curry. On top was a sprinkling of fresh crab. This was served over a small bed of greens with a delicious light vinegar dressing. The shrimp grits with bacon and scallions were great. The grits were creamy and the portion was plentiful.

I just KEEP coming back here year after year. Bartenders are always friendly (I always sit at the bar) and give good recommendations for their available wines. Was hoping to taste more local wines by the glass this time, but they had French/non Cali more so.

The menu is longer on appetizers than on main courses, which makes sense as many customers seem to be there for drinks and a snack. That said, the food is superb and very reasonably priced. The shrimp cocktail had a dozen good sized shrimp, the oysters Rockefeller were a meal in themselves, and the salmon was fresh and sweet. Excellent advice and service from the waitress and an unusual and delicious 2016 Sangiovese made for a wonderful dinner.

I would honestly say we will not be returning to Oso or recommending it. We were excited to try it out, but it fell short of expectations. We are locals to Sonoma county and understand Sonoma pricing, but for the food quality and service it was overpriced. The Caesar salad was so salty it was nearly inedible for two of us at the table. I’ve never had a salad be so salty. Our server was new, but they did not provide him with necessary support. After the hummus appetizer, the food took 40 minutes to reach the table, when we had 4 salads, an order of potatoes, and one sandwich. We were not offered refills on drinks during the meal.

50 chars is a turn off. Backyard is quiet. Great service from our server over 2 dinners. The special salad was terrific.
