The food, service and ambience were fantastic! Lenore, our waitress, was very accommodating to all of our needs. We were heading to the Smith Center to see a play after our meal. She made sure our dinner was served in a timely manner. Lenore’s knowledge of the menu, Oscar’s history and the downtown area was extremely helpful and informative. She offered us the shuttle to get to the Smith Center after our meal, if we were interested. Lenore was also training a new employee, Juan, during our dinner. We will definitely have dinner here, again. Thanks for a great evening.
Oscar’s never disappoints! The steaks are always perfect and the sides are delicious.
Amazing steaks and sides. We always make sure to eat at Oscars every time we are in Vegas. Also very attentive and helpful wait staff. A little pricey but worth the money
Seated immediately. Steaks were good. Bone in ribeye was excellent. Chocolate mousse dessert was very good. We were seated by a wedding party so it was a bit loud but we got a free family drama show so it was good. Service was attentive and friendly but not intrusive.
Very good food and view. Bobby was a great server, very personal and friendly.
We went to Oscars for our anniversary. The food was amazing and the service was beyond amazing!! The restaurant has the elegance yet comfortable ambience ... We love it and would come back on our next visit!
Service was great food was outstanding except for the Italian market app I would recommend finding a different app but steak was great cool how it over looks Fremont street and if your planning to go to the mob museum you can make it “gangster themed weekend trip”
Nick was an excellent server as well as the other gentleman (forgot his name). Entire staff was very nice and sociable. Food was excellent
By far the best meal we have had at any restaurant, the food was delicious and the service could not be faulted. We will definitely be going back next time we are in Las Vegas
We had our wedding dinner here and they gave us everything we asked for when we made our reservations. The staff was amazing and friendly. The food was so delicious. Couldn’t have chose a better place to celebrate our marriage.
So fun and the perfect “Vegas”experience. Out waiter Was a rockstar making great suggestions. Definitely worth it and will be back
We had been wanting to dine at Oscar's for some time now and finally made it recently. The restaurant experience from beginning to end was very nice. Great service and pleasant servers. We enjoyed the view of Freemont Street although obstructed because of the zip line attraction. We would recommend trying Oscar's at least once but honestly there is so many choices in Las Vegas it is doubtful we will be back. No complaints and the food was quite good.
Located on the second floor of the Plaza hotel in the old town of Las Vegas, Oscar's is a throw back into the 50's when entertainment and good food were synonymous
Our food arrived promptly, reasonably seasoned and well prepared
The service staff, led by Nick, were professional, friendly and not overbearing
Our parking ticket was validated at the front desk and we were 5 min away from the Smith's center for Performing Arts
Truly a unique dinning experience and a keeper!
We LOVED eating at Oscar's Steakhouse. After visiting lots of swanky restaurants on the strip (which were awesome in their own way), my husband was pleasantly surprised when I took him to this restaurant. It really gives you an "Old Vegas" feel, has delicious food and eating in the dome with an awesome view of Freemont street is SO fun!
Great all the way around. Server was excellent!
We were celebrating a friends 50th birthday at Oscar's with a table of 7. The food, wine, and ambiance were lovely. The service from our main waiter was terrible and inexcusable. The food runners, and server/bus boy who assisted us throughout the evening was wonderful, as was the assistant general manager who went above and beyond to correct our waiters issues and lack of follow through. Thank Justin Cantanese, for responding so professionally and kindly to our concerns and making the evening much better.
The “busser” handling the table next to us (a short Hispanic older lady) was walking around very grumpy looking. Also, a group of management/servers/workers seemed to congregate a couple times against the wall near our table - making plans and giving orders - a little bit distracting.
The food was a bit below average. I found the taste drastically lacking. The side were weak at best. The cream spinach tasted like frozen spinach. There are far too many better restaurants in Vegas. Skip Oscars and go get yourself a good meal
The steaks and sides are amazing! The chopped salad has a Russian dressing that tasted really sweet almost like pickle relish, but the view, the service and the main course was amazing!!
Food was to die for, tenderloin and prime rib was the best we ever had. Absolute melt in your mouth. The Oscar topping on the tenderloin was worth the extra cost, large pieces of crab and a plentiful serving. The only draw back, and I realized it afterward, was our waitress over charged us $20. My bad for not catching it and wouldn’t stop me from dining here again because the steaks were that good.
Food was delicious, the cocktails were great and had clever names, and the service staff was friendly.
Bobby was a fantastic server, made us feel taken care of even when he had other, larger tables. The hostess makes a point to get every guests first name so the staff can address them by name.
We had a very nice evening. The service was wonderful. the view was excellent
For the most part it was a good meal, except for the server superiority attitude, ruining my $48 steak by having it way overcooked. I'd try again as long as I didn't get him. Nice lounge, decent wine selection, tasty side dishes.
the guys at the bar were amazing...my son wanted a Paper Plane drink and they didn't know how to make it so my son pulled it up on his phone and they made it for him...great service.
Bar is my favorite spot!! and they ALWAYS honor my request for a front and center table looking down Fremont Street...always awesome service...
The food was awesome! It’s on the pricier side, but 100x better than the equally priced and decent meal we got on the strip! Make reservations and enjoy!!!!
Make sure to ask for Bobby as a waiter. Local, friendly, full of stories, and a great server as well! Food was well presented and tasty. From hostess to the entire wait staff, service with a smile was absolutely on offer!
If you enjoy a great steak, Oscar's Steakhouse is a must! Ask to sit in Bobby's area, he knows the menu and is a great conversationist.
Oscars' is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always good. The best thing of all is you can hear each other at the table. I would recommend this restaurant for the food; the noise level; the view; and the service.
We wanted to try out Oscar's as we assumed it was one of Las Vegas' finest steak restaurants ...wanted to compare to others... We found service and Ambience to be top notch...however the steaks were simply not the finest we have run across...Oscars also seems to be a little different than other restaurants regarding the definition of " medium" and "medium rare"
Steaks were done less than we normally like but I cant get used to the fact the meat was cold in the center...we've had medium rare before...and the syeak was hot all the way thru...long story short...great place, great service and pretty good steaks but simply 35% more money than other steak houses that have superior steaks...the only way I would ever go back is with a 35% off coupon!!!
Food was subpar steaks was ok my date ordered the chicken and didn’t even eat it cause it tasted weird
Steaks were incredible while looking over the view of Freemont street
We’re not given choice of seating tho many tables were open. Waiter forgot my salad.
First time at this restaurant- would not return. first time staying downtown- liked the Plaza hotel, did not like this experience. Asked for a booth, di not get one though there were several open, the waiter rushed us, kept coming back to the table to check on us and brought the meal while we were still on appetizers. Staek was good, but service spoiled it- they were not busy, what was the rush? The waiter just seemed to be doing a job- delivering the food to us and that was it.
Our waiter was a little all over the place. Seemed to be in the weeds, but their weren't many customers. With the limited amount of guest their was an extremely loud party that was never told to calm down. Steak was mediocre.
FANTASTIC. Best part of our trip was our wonderful dinner here. Bobby is the best waiter you could ever have! Ask him to prepare you a Frank Sinatra from the bar!
Service was attentive at arrival but felt rushed through the meal. Tried to clear appetizer before it was finished. Main course arrived but food was served luke warm at best. GM seemed concerned when it happened and tried to make it right but night was already ruined. Food had good flavor and was seasoned nicely. After experiencing issues, service was slow to return to table. GM sent birthday dessert to table as part of recovery but noticed other tables celebrating also received same desserts. So recovery attempt was a fail. Not the special birthday celebration I was expecting.
Great cocktails, great food, great service! Ask for Bobby, he’s the best!!
The steaks and view of the Vegas downtown area was incredible. I'd prefer it if the entrees were not a la carte but included a full meal.
