I really enjoy my dining experience and it was very comfortable. I really recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. I love that it is very traditional and it has famous pictures of my Mexican culture.I would definitely come back to dine in and enjoy with my family and friends.

I like this place a lot, though sometimes the slowness of service and messy plates of food prevent me from LOVING it. But they have $5 margs and mimosas/sangria for $1.70 when you order an entree, so it's a good value. That's how much mimosas SHOULD cost!!!

It was noisy... The chips tasted stale. That was not a good start. When the meal arrived (it took a while) the food and margaritas were very good. We couldn't eat everything or finish our pitcher of Margaritas. When they cleared our table the waiter took our 1/2 drunken pitcher poured it into a couple of glasses and then served them to another table! Gross! Recycled Margaritas! We won't be back.

Some of the food is outstanding, some just okay. Noise level as everyone knows that has eaten there is off the chart the later in the evening that you dine. Curious, they usually push their guacamole, but this time they neglected to mention it. The margaritas are good. Don't order the pitcher unless you drink fast as the ice dilutes the drink. Good parking and friendly staff. FYI, make a reservation thru Open Table. Things get pretty crowded the later you go.

I like the quirky decor, it fit the different twists of traditional dishes. A very good experience overall.

This is a great fun, energetic, and unique restaurant. Awesome decor and great tasting food. The Mole Ribs were fantastic as was the queso fondue. Very elegant restaurant. I will definitely be back.

Enjoying introducing my mom and brother to places they may never have been, for dinner this evening I chose Ortega 120. Despite their initial fear of going outside the burger norm, I pushed forward confident in my decision. Aside from a couple mild irritants, the two were impressed. (A win for me!)

Enchiladas Mole and Chilaquiles, chased shortly after by a delightful churro and ice cream dessert filled our bellies and made us say mmmmmmm.

GREAT PLACE!!! Been here three times and I order something different each time to try all their food. NOTHING has disappointed, we do get the QUESO FUNDIDO and Guac every time, they are delish!! Food is great. The Margarita's are the best, get the pitcher, made right at your table. This is not EL TORITO or any other cookie cutter Mexican restaurant. The food is all unique (good different) and tastes great.

Tasty margaritas and extensive tequila list. The food was good but not the best Mexican food I've had. Staff friendly and efficient. Live entertainment. Decor could use an update, looks overly worn.

Our food was extremely expensive and very sub par. In one of my carnitas tacos there was a huge bay leaf in it that I didn't see before I ate it which really ruined the tacos for me. It shows the level of care they put into their food before sending it to the customer. The rice and beans were awfully bland and the $9 guacamole was a small lump of something that had seemed to have been made days before. I was not impressed at all and will not be returning.

I loved my visit to Ortega 120. The restaurant captured everything perfectly. The only thing I might say bothered me a tad was that it was extremely loud inside. It wasn't ideal to have a conversation with someone on a date for example, unless you were shouting across the table. Loved the food and service. Might want to be seated outside next time to see if it's a little more quiet.

My babe's food was good - steak n shrimp.
Mine was ok, the Chile relleno, but there was a lot of breading on it and not too much meat.

The 'street corn' was horrible. It was just corn sprinkled with a little bit of the Mexican cheese n salt n pepper. Just not work the price.

My babe drink - the white sangria was good and tasted strong.

My margarita was over priced and weak. I didn't even get a buzz - I couldn't even taste the alcohol. The drinks are way over priced and weak.

Made a reservation for a Saturday night and were sat right away. Service was excellent, food was tasty. The Tour de Tacos was a nice way to try the different meats they feature (carne asada, carnitas, shrimp, pastor, and I substituted short rib for chicken), and the chile relleno was huge and, according to my friend, quite flavorful. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that the flour tortillas were a little dry, but overall our dinner was a great experience.

Everyone in our party agreed that the margaritas were great but the food was average, at best. On the Open Table reservation, I made note that we were celebrating a birthday--but no recognition of that was made by the restaurant. Other reviewers have commented that the same thing happened to them...

We had been searching all over Los Angeles and Orange Counties for some good carnitas and we finally found it at Ortega 120. I loved the fact that the tortillas were made right in front of the restaurant and served piping hot off the griddle!

It was a birthday dinner. Unfortunately our server could have been more attentive and even use suggestive selling to make the experience more memorable and hospitable. The entrees could have been hotter and not what we were expecting. We didn't notify the manager during the visit

The hostess was extremely unprofessional in appearance and attitude. It's the first person you see- if they want to keep it casual at least have the hostess wear all black or something. She looked like she didn't want to be there.
The food was ok. The only vegetarian options they had had mushrooms and I can't eat those. The vegetarian rice and beans was plain white rice and I'm pressure they were beans from a can. Absolutely no flavor. My husband had the tacos and he liked them. My cheese verde enchiladas were just ok- a little salty. The churros were good but the chocolate sauce should be on the side as an option- not with the churros drowning in it. The cocktails were good.

This restaurant could be great. Has potential. The decor is nice. I hope they listen to their customers. There are A LOT of Mexican restaurants in LA. They need to improve.

Very sad that no one acknowledged my birthday or anniversary. I left comments in the reservations and mentioned it when I was called the day before to confirm the reservation.

Service was not good. The server kept looking away while taking my order which was unusual. Half way through our meal the restaurant cleared out and the service was still slow.
