   By far my favorite restaurant in NYC.Reasonable prices, great service good location for the theaters.

   We were running 10 minutes late It’s NYC - traffic is horrible I tried calling and no one answered When we arrived the hostess was incredibly rude and acted like she couldn’t seat us. She put us at a table by the kitchen when there were other open tables. I asked to move and she said that they were reserved. I reserved 2 months ago and asked for a table close to the front as the last time, we were again back by the kitchen. A table remained open for the entire meal and we ended up having to sit in the bar area. The server was great and food was very good but due to the attitude, I will not return. As we dined, she stood there and watched the phone ring, not picking it up. Probably another late diner who she will punish for being late.

   Orso never disappoints. We've never had a bad dish, much less a not-great meal. Service is impeccable. Quiet & peaceful, although it was quite full last night. Probably the best food on Restaurant Row.

   A very nice place to eat in the theater district on a night you’re not going to the theater. It’s easier to reserve a table at 7 or later and the place is quieter and more relaxed. The tables are not crowded together and service is excellent. The food is very good too.

   Another great dinner at Orso. Nice restaurant in the theater district. Always try to get there when in the city. From the wine selection to the appetizers to the entrees, impeccable quality food.

   The maitre’d was very professional and we had a great table! Food and service was tip top. I love coming here before that Theater. The food is reliably good and same for the service.

   Dining with a dear friend at Orso was a delight. We arrived at 5:30 for our pre-theater meal and were ushered to our table quickly and warmly. Everything about the experience was a comfort, the welcome, the drink order, relaxing until our meal arrived - and a delicious meal it was. Exquisitely prepared salads, perfectly prepared seafood and coffees with excellent biscotti. It was a perfect preamble to strolling to our 7:30 curtain of Buena Vista Social Club. This is a highly recommended outpost for dining in the theater district! The staff was professional, attentive and courteous. Kudos to the kitchen!
