Original Roadhouse Grill - Long Beach Ratings and Reviews
Paula was very nice and courteous and took care of our family well. Bread brought fresh and hot, drinks refilled, made sure we had everything we needed. Food was fresh and well made. Good family meal as usual. We've been coming here for many many years. Delicious. We will be back for sure.
Wonderful dining experience for our group of 11. Our server Juan was so friendly and energetic. So were the rest of the staff we dealt with. The great food was just cherry on the top! It's not often that you walk into a restaurant and the staff actually look like they enjoy what they do.
We made reservations and even though we were a little late...say 20 minutes...they honored it without a hassle
It was very full but I saw every single server working with a smile on their face
I give them props for that
The food was great and although I had to call the server a few times over I never felt like I bothered her like in other places
It was our anniversary and the server took the time to right on our receipt "Happy 1st anniversary and many more" and that just made our night :)
If your looking for good prime rib come here. It's the best. Also recommended the Texas egg rolls they are so yummy filling is with cream cheese. Good steak and BBQ place. They give you peanuts and you throw the shells on the floor. Not a fancy place but good food and good service
The host who greeted us (young man) did not seem to know how to verify our attendance with the open table system. He asked me to ask the manager to do it. The manager took care of it kindly. The host was courteous but sloppily dressed with a flannel shirt and jeans that were WAY below his waist held up with a belt. Fortunately the flannel shirt prevented the exposure of his underwear. Our server Desiree, was excellent, frequently stopping by the table to make sure our needs were met. The food was excellent as well, I really enjoyed the marinated tri tip.
The service was slow, but not only did the server apologize, the manager also spoke to our group. They did comp a dinner, appetizer and a drink for their service delays. In the end we all satisfied and would not only return to this restaurant but recommended it to friends..
This was our first visit here and we were hoping for the best. We tried the Buffalo Ribs and they were tender and good. With our dinners we had Cesar Salads and they were the highlight of the evening. The Baked potato was over baked and the broccoli was very under cooked. They go through a ritual of ringing a "cow bell" when it is a birthday or something like that. This is very loud, un-necessary and rather undesirable. To finish the night, the wine list is limited and I was over charged $10 that the waitress did correct it once I mentioned it. Usually I do not look that closely at the bill and almost paid the extra.
I do not think that we will be back.
Having previously enjoyed a great meal at Roadhouse Grill in the Long Beach Town Center, my wife and I came back. We were fortunate to have our favorite waitress again, Great Job! The baby back ribs were good as usual, but just a little burned on the under side this time. My wife loved the mahi mahi!! .... something for everyone.
When my wife and I arrived for a pm reservation to celebrate this special romantic holiday, the hostess seated us almost immediately. One of us wears hearing aids, and the hostess was very helpful in finding a quiet corner of this restaurant.
In regards to the food, the trip tip and sirloin were chosen on the smaller portions menu. The lighter sized meat allowed us to order the "Messy Sundae." All in all, it was a delightful repast with a fairly reasonable price!
We met for dinner on Wed, no lines, walked right in and sat down. Food was excellent, large burger, lots of garlic, lettuce, tomatoes, could have used more mushrooms. delicious side salad, excellent sweet potatoes. Tri tip was pefect, garlic mashed potatoes & broccoli. Sweet rolls and soft honey butter. Drink service a bit slow and all we wanted was tea with lemon and honey, maybe the bar service would have been faster.
Loved the happy hour menu, need to return for the $5 burger and fries.
It was my friends birthday, had the birthday coupon, told the server, heard them sing at another table but no one came over for us.
We needed a place to accommodate a party of 13 that included kids and hungry men. Roadhouse delivered. Our waitress was outstanding, food was really good (I rarely give "outstanding") and my entire party left happy. This includes Grandma, who is often hard to please. Excellent everything, especially the service and staff in general. Thanks Roadhouse!
we were there on Sunday night for dinner, and had an absolutely great time.
had a mistake on our order, we ordered a salmon, but we were served a different fish, which they quickly replaced with salmon, but ultimately they took the salmon off our bill. what a nice gesture! their baby back ribs were so tender and full of flavor.
our server lisa was fantastic too! she was always checking to see if we needed anything every so often. we will definitely go back for another great meal.
