   We ate here on Mother’s Day so the restaurant was crazy busy. Despite the craziness, we were seated on time and service throughout the night was excellent. Our waiter was super busy but also very responsive. Food was, as always, on point.

   The staff was amazing. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. Our server was honestly amazing! He was doing a double shift and he was just simply amazing. He was always checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed.

   Been a customer at this establishment for over 60 years. Came as a child and still love this place. Food was outstanding as usual, had brunch and spouse had traditional burger. Two ordered polenta and egg plate and another guest had the hash. The warm jelly donuts are a delightful treat. Ambiance is welcoming and server was attentive.

   The first thing we were told upon arriving on time for our 2pm reservation was that we needed to clear the table 4pm . Not very welcoming.

   Steak was a little chewy. Our waiter was so busy. Took forever to get water refilled. I had to share my water with my daughter. Took forever to get coke refilled too. My husband has to stop eating until he got his coke refilled.

   Our waiter was thoughtful warm friendly and engaging, and kept great communication as to when the next courses would arrive and set the appropriate tone and reservations. As for the food, absolutely phenomenal and old school flavor that was refreshing to experience again and again. Perfectly done calamari appetizer, sole piccata, and clams linguine. There is a reason why Original Joe's Westlake is still so successful all these years. Reliable and executing at high quality for the price (and great portions to boot).
