Great food. Amazing creations. Love the desserts. Definitely worth trying.
We wanted to try Origin before it closes next week, and we absolutely loved it- especially the tuna salad & bone marrow! Everything was fantastic- job well done
I travel and am frequently in To I always make a point of visiting Origin especially for their Chinois Duck! Also love their devilled eggs,the buffalo mozzarella,Brussel sprouts with Carm onions and pancetta and so much more
Fun to share plates. Service is always pleasant and reliable. Noise can be a problem but all else makes it worthwhile!
Devastated that chef is closing this space but look forward to his next project!
This was my first time visiting origin. I went with a group of friends for a late brunch. The service was fantastic, tostada was delicious, and they didn't be boot us out the door. Stayed for almost 3 hours and the server was still checking in on us. Highly recommend Forbes tasty brunch menu (the scones were *swoon*) and inexpensive mimosas.
The food is good, but the menu hasn't changed in what seems like years. I live just up the street but don't think I'll be coming back until the menu does.
When out steak was undercooked the chef and staff did everything to make it right. They made us a new steak and brought a complimentary appetizer. The staff were attentive the whole evening and the food was fresh and delicious.
I came to origin restaurant 3 times. I was totally disappointed by the last time. I took the tuna salad and it was not the same that the others times : not flavors balanced, too spicy, ingredients coarsely chopped. I don't want to go there one more time.
Maybe the chief was in vacation during christmas holidays...
The service was friendly but extremely slow. Been there a few times and I will take a break from it now. The appetizers were good but the Spanish fries (both orders) were passable at most.

Service was a bit of a mixed bag.
I booked a table for 10 last Sunday at 1pm. Excellent food and service. We will definitely be back.
