    Whenever home in Hawaii it’s a Tradition to dine at The Orchids Restaurant in the Halekulani Resort. We never tire of our wonderful experience there since it’s opening . Where else can one experience excellence in food, ambiance , service and be on the ocean’s edge with a view of Diamond Head !!!?? Don’t miss an opportunity to experience the same !!!

    It was a lovely birthday luncheon for a special friend. Our servers were pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is elegant. Everyone enjoyed the time and place. We will definitely go back for more celebrations.

    One of the best breakfast in Oahu with a beautiful view and London Standards experience, food and service impeccable. Eggs Benedict was sensational as the hollandaise sauce was cooked to perfection. Also we had the omelette with cheese and mushrooms was fluffy and creamy too. Would highly recommend a visit for breakfast with family or on a romantic interlude.

    Food taste very poor. We had good memory for food in past dinner @ Orchid, but last night was so different. Worst was one of our order, squeed ink pasta was not delivered over 30 minutes after previous food. Even, we asked waiter he said it’s coming. We cancelled pasta and left restaurant with very bad memory for our 50th wedding anniversary and last night in Hawai.

    If you want do have dinner with great view at the waikiki beach without noise, this is the best adress. Service is friendly and competent, food is delicious, but a bit pricy - althought it is worth the price.

    The food and service were absolutely wonderful!! Came here for lunch with one of my closest, long term friend. I had a Bloody Mary (My go to brunch cocktail) and it was delicious and just the perfect size. We started off with some delicious complimentary bread with olive oil/balasmic, butter, and olives. For appetizers we got the Tomato Soup with Creme Fraiche and the Beef Tartar with Parm and some toast. Yum. For the main we got the Ahi Sandwich with Squid Ink Bun and slaw, as well as the Baked Scottish Salmon. SOOO good. Then finished off with their signature Coconut Cake for dessert with a happy birthday plate message that included her name!! Everything from food to service from all the waitstaff was amazing!! :)

    The food was next-level, free valet, setting was just gorgeous, restaurant over had live hula dancer and band. It was our Anniversary and they comped us a coconut cake - it was the best restaurant experience I have ever had in my 43 years. Best of all - my bride of 18 years loved it.

    A lovely meal! Beautiful location. Right off the beach. Wait staff was amazing and very accommodating. Food was excellent. My husband and I went to celebrate our last night in Honolulu/Waikiki and our 25th Anniversary. Highly recommended.

    Last year, our first visit to Orchid's was amazing in every way, so we booked again this year for Sunday Brunch. The per person price increased from about $70 to $105. Recognized the waiters from before who are all outstanding; they are very attentive, gracious and caring! However, the food quality and variety our second time here was unimpressive (eg, seafood and even coffee lacked taste, our Eggs Benedict had overcooked eggs and the bread undercooked) - our overall experience was disappointing that did not justify the price increase. Desserts and ice cream were good though. I genuinely hope that management addresses the food quality and variety issues because this is such a beautiful place to dine.

    We started at the Wine Bar with Kale - did two wine flights + the Parma prosciutto and beef tartare, they were all great. Then dinner at Orchids with Christopher & David as our servers. Started with Veuve Rose champagne, nice & cold! Seafood melody and lobster bisque for appetizers (excellent) then for the main had lasagnette & sea bass. Both superb! Christopher & David were great and provided attentive service throughout. A beautiful evening in Waikiki!

    The service was exceptional! The food was delicious. We had the seafood salad, the filet, the beef cheek, the coconut cake, and the tiramisu. The entrees were great, but the desserts were the best part of the meal. The drinks were so good too! We had the jungle mania and mango mint freeze. We loved listening to the music next door and looking out at the view.

    Beach front table yet private because of the chest high hedge. Unique cocktails perfected through the years. Attentive unobtrusive service with assistance quickly offered when we were trying to capture the moment. My wife had the Tomato soup & Tiger prawns while I had the Endive salad and seafood curry. Choice of dessert was too tough so I had the coconut sifón, the chocolate covered tiramisu & the ginger crème brûlée. We were all smiles. Jet, our services proved to have an eye for iPhone photography. Very friendly low keyed place this foodie looks for. Definitely on my visit again list.
