Opus Prime Steakhouse
Having eaten there before, I choose to take my wife there for a date night after finding our favorite restaurants in the Metro were full. I have no complaints with the staff as they were attentive and pleasant. The food however was lackluster and for the price, I expect top notch steaks, appetizers and seafood. Will not visit again.
My wife and I chose 2 steak filets accompanied by asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes mine came 3 grilled shrimp. The steaks were incredible and I can easily say the same for the shrimp. I can’t say they were the best I have ever had but worthy of the rating by far. The sides on the other hand were nothing to brag about. I myself have a far superior recipe for both sides. The sides were just lacking flavor and quality for what you have to pay but they were good nonetheless. The ambience of the restaurant is hard to beat. Overall it is definitely worth a visit.
First time to Opus. We arrived a bit early, so we decided to have a drink at the bar. $15 for Maker's Mark old fashioneds, seems a bit excessive. The second round tasted different than the first, I think they forgot the simple syrup or something. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry, so no big deal there. Went to our table, very nice, very quiet. Ordered the calamari appetizer, nothing special, a bit chewy. I had the 12 oz filet, my wife had the 8 oz filet. The menu didn't specify if the beef was choice or prime, but I can assure you, it wasn't prime. Choice, at best. I had the broccoli au gratin, which was loaded with diced red onions, which we cannot eat. Would have been nice to know that up front. My wife ordered the risotto, which was terrible. Served lukewarm, it was like a big gob of paste in your mouth. Somehow managed to eat some of it. We had a 2014 Seghesio Old Vine Zin, priced very reasonable at $79, probably was the highlight of the evening. Our waiter was very nice, but again, the service was a bit slow. I'm all for a nice relaxed pace as it relates to fine dining, but we were in there over three hours. Final tab with drinks and tip was $375. At that price, for that value, sorry to say but we won't be back. There are just too many other places that are better (Boulevard, The Ranch, Red Prime).
Old school style steakhouse it was good, there were a few items that were really great like the seafood cargo appetizer it was delicious! Steaks and sides were good and drinks and service were good. I would go back to have that appetizer and drinks but probably not dinner again.
We had a wonderful dinner for our Valentines date night and our service was excellent and our steaks cooked as we had ordered them.
Micah is an outstanding server! Our food was fantastic, as usual. My only complaint is that we felt a bit rushed. Not usual for this wonderful establishment.
Food was excellent with nice presentation. Lobster escargot was amazing. Wine list was extensive and overall reasonably priced for a fine dining establishment. Will definitely be back.
Early Valentines dinner, decided to beat the crowd and weather. From appetizers and drinks to all the mains and dessert, everything was fantastic. Our first trip here, but we will definitely be back.
Extremely disappointed. It took an hour and 10 minutes for our food to start to come out and and another 10 minutes for it all to finally be on the table. And it seemed like everyone was waiting that long for their food. Then for it to just be average was even more disappointing. For the cost, it was not worth the wait.
Always great food and service.. Our special go to place
Love this place. Food is very good and the service is wonderful. Love the atmosphere
Second visit there. Absolutely love going here with wife. The portions are perfect and the pricing is on par with this quality of food. Best risotto I think in the OKC area.
Looking forward to going back soon.
Alana was fantastic hostess. Try and get in her section if you can.
Overall food was mediocre at best. Way overpriced. Beautiful dining room. Ice cold drinks. There are so many steakhouses within a 10 mile radius that I’m not completely sure that this is the best option.
Seated immediately and drink orders were filled quickly. Despite the fact that we had an early reservation and the restaurant was not busy they were out of lamb chops. Waited about 30 minutes for our food and the eight ounce filet mignon I ordered medium was completely charred with very little pink in the middle. The waitress dropped our food and left without having me cut into my steak first so I had to wait almost ten minutes to catch another passing waiter to send my steak back. When I pay $44 for an eight ounce steak plus $22 for sides, I fully expect my steak to be properly cooked the first time it is brought to me. We finished eating and told the waitress we weren’t interested in dessert. It took 15 minutes for her to return with our check. Some of these things I can look past if the restaurant is busy but we were one of just a few tables filled so slow service is inexcusable.
Nice location. Everyone was dressed very casual. Servers wore masks. Extensive wine menu
2 out of our 5 steaks were overcooked. They did correct this with another steak. The calamari also I bit overdone. Service was pretty good.
A lovely meal with fantastic service!
Went for our anniversary!! Delicious meal wonderful service and great ambience! We will definitely be back!! Maybe our new favorite!♥️
Great food! Service was very slow, but they were nice.
This has been a regular favorite of ours for years!!The food is always amazing! My boys love the steak options and my DIL and I love the fish selections. Everything from appetizers to salads to main course to our after dinner Brandy Ice!! They have the best setup as far as seating! We love the high back booths that make you feel like you're in a private area. Can't recommend Opus enough!
Food was wonderful and the service was excellent
The food was great! I ordered a porterhouse and it was cooked perfect. The drinks were also fairly priced.
The food was overall just ok. Definitely not worth the money that we spent. I dont think I will be going back. I ordered the beef tip tenderloins. Not very good. Meat was overcooked and the potatoes tasted like they had been sitting all day.
everything was great. The food was great, service was great and the wine was the best
We hadn't been since 2015. Service and ambiance were excellent. Still had amazing Steaks. Made our anniversary very special.
As always it was a wonderful experience for the group I brought.
They did a really great job of keeping the guests properly distanced. And the food was amazing!
Excellent service and food
Very pricey but the food is always OUTSTANDING. Service was also excellent. Love this place - worth the extra.
The food is always fantastic! Lobster cargot is our favorite appetizer! We love the bartender, Matt. It’s so fun to sit at the bar, eat and talk with him!
One of our very favorite places to go for special occasions. The crab legs are to die for. We will definitely be back
This was our 25th Wedding Anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint!! The food and service was excellent.
Always a great meal. Enjoyed the chocolate lava cake!
Excellent, attentive service without being constantly present. Food was hot when served and wonderful.
This was my first time there and it was awesome. Alana our server was amazing. She was friendly, funny, and really nice. The waygu steak was delicious and worth every penny. I would highly recommend the lobster Mac and cheese. I would be coming back.
Anniversary Dinner and it was terrific!
We always enjoy dinner. They have added several new items that make it even better. Service is always great and we have a nice enjoyable experience every time we go.
Excellent food except for calamari which was overcooked and chewy. The steaks and fish were cooked to perfection. The dessert was divine! I’d recommend wine rather than drinks as they were good but very pricey. It’s a wonderful place for a celebration and a great meal. Oh and the salads were wonderful also.
My steak was perfect but my husbands ribeye was very overcooked considered he ordered medium rare. Our waitress was no where to be seen, so he eventually ate it as Our waitress did not come back until she brought the check. After the bartender I waived down got us a $12 brandy Ice. However, the Gorgonzola mashed potatoes were delicious!
