The meal and the service were excellent. He waitress was very friendly.
Opus 9 will never disappoint us. The service is always top notch and the food is fabulous.
One word: outstanding!
Always a been great meal
OPUS-9 is always a special treat, so we always go there for special occasions. It is clearly the best restaurant in Williamsburg so this is saying a lot.
My husband’s birthday
Very expensive for the quality of the food. My filet was under cooked and had trouble cutting it with knife. Either a bad knife or bad piece of meat. I think both. Service was good. Appetizers good. For a 200+ dollar dinner for my son and myself I expect more
Love Opus... great atmosphere and fabulous steaks
Service is attentive without being intrusive which is perfect for an upscale restaurant
Our server was awesome... super nice and HAPPY!!!
Dillon and Jen took great care of us as we celebrated a special birthday. Our food was delicious and the evening was delightful.
Absolutely our favorite restaurant! Absolutely the best steaks you will ever have! The service is always excellent. Great selection of wines.
Absolutely incredible place to eat! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, everything from the drinks, appetizers, main course and dessert was delicious! Our server Anna, was very knowledgeable about the different wine selections and she was really good to us! Wish we lived closer- AL is a bit of a drive to this place :)
Service by Anna was excellent. Entrees exceeded expectations. Fried oysters were excellent.
You know, we really liked this Sunday Brunch. The offerings were plentiful but not so crazy that you couldn’t find what you wanted. The food was really good. The service was impeccable. Sierra took care to be sure we had all our needs met. My husband and I enjoy good wine and couldn’t help but notice the great wine selections.
Now, if you happen to be seated by the fireplace in the back room you will probably be alarmed at the enormous amount of dirt and dust on and around the bottles of wine on the shelving. Gross actually. This was a real turn off. And, there was a used tea cup with a tea bag in it on the shelf next to my husbands shoulder. They need to step it up where the details are concerned.
My son attends W&M, and he, my wife and I usually have dinner here whenever we visit. As always, the food is delicious and perfectly cooked, and the service is outstanding. We appreciate being able to dress casually while enjoying fine dining. In our experience, Opus 9 is the best restaurant in Williamsburg.
The meal was delicious and JJ our server was OUTSTANDING. The only concern we had was the noise level. The table next to us had approx. 13-14 ladies and on the other side of them and next to the wall had equal of ladies & gentlemen. The noise level was very high and we hurried through our meal to leave. There were 2 tables that sat 2, which one was ours. I would suggest that those 2 tables be removed from that room. It would make for a more pleasant dining for these those occupying those 2 tables.
I really enjoyed the food. Only thing that was a turn off was our waitress Kara. She needs to be retrained on how to personable with all customers she’s has to interact with.
Food and service were excellent. Atmosphere is noisy. Conversation is difficult.
Great experience for our first time to Opus 9. April was outstanding! Will return!
Ordered the prime rib--worst yet. Overcooked and not very flavorful. The same for my son's prime rib. Now I see why prome rib is not a regular menu item.
We had asked for seating in the fireplace room and Opus 9 was able to accommodate. Fantastic meal from start to finish and our server was pleasant and attentive. Will return soon!
The Restaurant Month special menu was a very good value. Good variety of choices and quite unique considering this is primarily a steakhouse.
We were put off by our server when we asked about the specials, in particular if the normal Sunday evenings special special was also available. Our friends did not know about the Sunday night special and they were told that information was on the display board at the entrance. We had to ask the server to d scribe that menu for our friends, which he finally did. Far from the normally great interaction we have with the staff.
More training required for that server - James.
Excellent steak and lobster main course. Fantastic service. And, a nicely decorated, up-scale place to eat. Can't ask for more!
What a wonderful restaurant will definitely be back!
I was hoping to show off Opus 9 to some out of town guests, and we were seated around the corner at the first table in the bar area next to a table wearing a tie-dye hoodie. The attire from most guests was incredibly lax. I guess we were getting what we paid for. A reasonably priced Sunday brunch attracts all crowds and makes for an extremely casual experience, which is not what I was hoping for a Sunday brunch at Opus 9. The food was wonderful, on the other hand. Brittany was also very pleasant to have service our table. I will remember for our next Sunday brunch with guests at Opus 9 to include a note of NO bar tables.
Our first visit to Opus 9 for Sunday brunch. Delicious! So many choices in food, both breakfast and lunch items. Our server was friendly, attentive and responsive to our needs. We've been for lunch and dinner numerous times, and will definitely return for brunch. A great neighborhood gem.
Decent steakhouse. My wife enjoyed her steak and lobster.
Delicious steaks. Perfect service. Plan on spending $100 a person and you won’t be surprised by the bill.
Unfortunately, our experience was not a good one. Typically, Opus 9 really delivers but our Anniversary Dinner date wasn't pleasant. We expected at least a Happy Anniversary from our server, Ann, but it just never came. It saddened my wife and I to know that Opus 9 has lost that old world charm that used to make us feel so welcomed. The food was good as usual. We'll have to think long and hard about driving 40 miles to be made to feel like we just weren't important.
Excellent place for a special occasion. Service, food and ambiance were all excellent. We plan to return in the near future.
Gave food a 3 starbbecause that’s where it averaged out amongst the 4 of us.
Had a wonderful meal at Opus 9. Great food, ambiance, and service. Travis was friendly and helpful.
The food and service was excellent. They have a wide selection of inexpensive lunch specials in addition to their regular menu. This is one of the best restaurants in the Williamsburg area.
Excellent quality food, attention to detail in food preparation and service. Great service from Ryan 2x this month.
Steak was undercooked, took 2 trips back to the kitchen to make it right
We have been wanting to try Opus 9 the last couple of years since my daughter is in Law School in Williamsburg. The food and service was excellent! Highly recommend! Steaks were great and cooked perfectly!
Opus 9 has lovely ambiance, sterling service and consistently has good food. We have been customers for many years and it is our Go To restaurant with good food and great value.
Impressive wine list! The food is amazing! The Brie is always my favorite!
Great steak but overpriced for what they offer. Some things were fabulous like the steak and dessert but other side items, mediocre at best. Would not go back based on price.
Everything was perfect, except there were no changing tables in the restrooms.
Best steak that I ever had and prepared exactly the way I ordered it.
