Tennessee Wet Ribs
Made in-house, our version of a Southern classic
Southern Fried Chicken Salad
Hand-breaded and fried chicken tenders, Monterey and cheddar cheese and wedged tomatoes. Served on a bed of gem lettuce with choice of dressing
We were in a hurry and our server got us in and out on time. Wanted to come back for the pecan pie, but they were closed.
Server went missing after the order. Didn’t see him again until we were done eating and our drinks had been empty since we were half finished eating. I can buy better brisket from a number of places. Menu says sides are enough to share but it wasn’t even enough for one person. Some dude was on the stage tuning a guitar and blocking our view of the tv the entire time we were there. All together one of the most pitiful dinners I have had with a reservation. Won’t return ever.
I’m from Michigan and I can’t wait to come back to eat here. Everything was wonderful
Food was mediocre at best . Food is much better at the restaurant across the street.
Food cold, not what was exactly described in the reviews we looked at. Very disappointed
Food was fair prices good. Service was very slow. Performer was only on stage 45 min.
Fried green tomatoes are delicious! My BBQ was great. My husband did not love the shrimp and grits. The first plate came out cold and they did bring another plate but the grits were still cold and really thick. Just not very good. Service is amazing. Decent singer performing and it wasn't too loud. Played nice selection. We would eat again with family or a group but not for nice romantic dinner for two.
This is a very nice place to eat. The food was great. Had the chicken tenders and wife had a pull pork sandwich. Loosen your belt, it is all you need to eat.
Even with a harried and undermanned wait staff and a 30 minute wait past our reservation time , the evening turned out well. Our waitress was attentive and informative. The food was excellent.
Restaurant was almost empty, but waitress seated us on top of the people at the bar.
r, food was some par music act was decent but too loud to be able to speak to each other Boots not thoroughly cleaned considering covid regulations.
Not what we expected, but the experience was neat and the service was good. We ordered Diamond Rio's BBQ Trio because it offered a selection of meats (brisket, ribs, pulled pork) with various sauces and 2 large sides. The ribs were good and falling off the bone. Both the brisket and pulled pork were a little dry, but I guess that is why they give you so much BBQ sauce, right? All in all, we left full and ready to see the Friday night show at the Opry in quite a while.
Initially drawn in by the live music, the food and beverage selection was limited at best. Our party tried the BBQ, caesar salad, nachos, and fried green tomatoes. This was comparable to dining at a mediocre restaurant. Choose wisely...go somewhere else.
This was ok. The music was less than impressive. The food was good and the service was good.
given the conditions( covid) It is difficult to give a fair review. The staff was very congenial and the food (limited menu) was good.
I’m so upset- I had outdoor reservations for a date w my husband and the restaurant is not actually offering this- the server was not empathetic to our situation at all. I am
a nurse practitioner caring for covid positive patients and I am just not comfortable sitting so close to others while they’re eating... I am fully vaccinated but out of an abundance of care for others - I refuse to put them at risk! The server didn’t offer a menu for take out- nothing. Also her mask was below her nose 🙄... if we are to carry on as an economy let’s get it together so we can gather safely!
In Nashville for a meeting. An early dinner, we found staff to be exceptionally friendly and service oriented. All covid precautions were taken very seriously.
We went for dinner and it was nice to have a live performance from the small stage - he was a good entertainer. The place was fairly empty given the pandemic, but the wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. We ordered a family meal along with an extra helping of brisket. The meat was cooked nicely, the BBQ sauce was average and the mac & cheese was quite good. Simple draft beer selection, but adequate. I think more people in the restaurant would change the dynamic a bit - it would have been more lively.
Usual COVID experience. Social distancing, quick service, friendly staff!
Best fried chicken and pimiento cheese I had in Nashville! The staff was very friendly. Good pricing!
Safety guidelines met, service fast & friendly, food excellent (met chef), & good value for price.
The server, food and entertainment was amazing and this was our 4th trip to Nashville and the Gaylord!!
Had a great meal and a great server named Dave!
Food tasted like it was from a dumpster. I ate one bite of the burger the lady didn’t even ask what’s wrong. Never refilled my drink. Poor service. Disgusting food.
The food was okay. We ate there twice while at a convention this week only due to convenience from our hotel. The food is adequate, but not great. The catfish sucks to be honest, but other things are not too bad. The atmosphere is nice.
We went here before the Opry. We had an early reservation, so the restaurant was pretty empty. Still had to wait for a table, which was odd.
Ribs were good. Overall, I think we were expecting something a little more upscale. Nevertheless, we had fun.
Great service. Very attentive waiter. Food was delicious. Other staff could be friendlier but we had a good experience.
I will start off by saying the service at the restaurant was very good. The waitress and hostess were pleasant and nice. The kitchen staff went above and beyond and split the entree and two sides that we were sharing onto two plates for us, without being asked. The restaurant was not very busy and the food was delivered promptly.
The food was at best, okay. The steak was $30, but it was thin and not high quality. That being said, it was cooked perfectly and to the temperature that we asked for. The fried green tomatoes were awful. The salad was lacking. The ranch dressing was good.
The menu was very small with very little choices.
Overall, in our weekend in Nashville we ate at several MUCH BETTER restaurants and we would not return to this one.
The food was good. The guy playing music was awesome. The seating was good. The only complaint was that the service was poor. I had to wait for refills on tea and had to get wave the waitress down for a beverage after dinner.
Enjoyed dinner. Good service. Wife and I shared the BBQ trio and everything was delicious. Went to see live performance by Audra McLaughlin (former contestant on Team Blake on The Voice), and the live music at dinner setup was great.
The hostess wasn't the friendliest, but the food and service was good. We sat close to the bar and kitchen so it was really noisy.
This is a good spot if you need a quick bite to eat. The food was good, but not fantastic. Our server, Brian, was really genuine and helpful.
When we walk in the place was empty but we still waited to be seated my wife was not feeling well
And checked to make sure they had soup on the menu before we booked our reservation when
The waitress came to take our order my wife asked what was the soup of the day and she responded
Chili when my wife said chili was not soup she said that that was the soup of the day I wish she would have just told my wife sorry we are out of soup for today being a opry restaurant it’s not what we expected
But it was clean fast once we ordered I would recommend to a friend if asked
Food was delicious and our server Jenn was very attentive.
Food on par with Denny’s or Ryan’s. Server was nice. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant. Salt appeared to be the only seasoning applied to all food.
It was very quiet at 2:00 pm on a weekday, but the service and food were excellent. I had the Nashville hot fried chicken with three sides (I highly recommend the succotash). This was a fun place to have lunch with my family. Props to our friendly waiter.
Fantastic experience all around. Our meals were perfect, the beverage list was excellent, and our service was superb.
We'll definitely be back and I'll certainly recommend it to friends and family.
Really enjoyed the food and the entertainment.
If you are looking for great food this is the place to eat, if you are looking for Country music don’t let the name deceive you. I went looking forward to Country music but the entertainer made it clear that he sang all different genre’s and proved his point except for Country. I think he was so interested in proving that he wasn’t Country that he proved it quite well. The ambiance made you think that this was the place to be but the entertainer proved different.
We really enjoyed the Opry Backstage Grill so much we ate there several times. Really enjoyed the up and coming entertainment performed by some who are also servers. Lots of good talent and food to be has here
