Nice view, and generally good service, though the hostess was not personable and acted as if being at work was a bother for her.

Beautiful location for a quiet dinner steps from the Bay on Siesta Key. There has so much nature going on around you birds, kayakers, jet skiers, and so much more. The food was so delicious. We ordered the crab cakes for and appetizer and I would say they were the best I have ever eaten. They had huge pieces of crab and the fried onion it was set on made it special. For entrees we got the duck and the pork tenderloin, both were cooked perfectly and delicious. I am a Chocoholic and got the chocolate cake with coconut for dessert and I must say it was so good. Yes I agree with many reviewers that Ophelia's is a bit pricy, but in my opinion it was well worth it.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends on April 14, 2018. The lobster bisque was hands down the best we have ever had. My husband had the scallops and I had the sea bass. Both meals were AMAZING! We will be going back. Can't wait to try brunch.

It was a birthday and the server had everyone around us singing Happy Birthday to him. He loved it!!

Fantastic end to a lovely vacation in Siesta Key. Our waiter, Don, was fabulous. Super friendly and professional.

Food was sublime: each of the four in our party raved about their dish the Mediterranean Dorado, the tuna , two people had the grouper and they will delighted the service by CSABA was really great-he answered all our questions, made recommendations which were taken and gave us excellent service for our birthday celebration.

Our dining experience was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect! From the moment we were greeted by the Hostess until our leaving the restaurant, one could not ask for any thing better. The views were peaceful and enchanting. The menu delightful and the cuisine was beyond fabulous. I have been to many restaurants and this one is one of the best. Thank you for a most enjoyable evening!

Our favorite Siesta Key restaurant, we book multiple nights whenever we are in town....never had a bad meal/experience at Ophelia’s!!

Everything was good, but nothing special. The main thing we noticed was that there were no fresh, simple items on the menu - everything seemed to be heavy and have cream. That said the meal was certainly satisfying, but did not meet our expectations.

We went to Ophelia 's not having been there in a number of years. Our experience was exactly as i remember it. A totally pleasurable night with an exceptional meal and great service. The ambience was the best the we have experienced in the Sarasota area and would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a truly enjoyable evening. enjoy....

This restaurant was very good! I made my reservation online but if you have a special request you have to call and let them know. I would definitely recommend this place for hose looking for a nice evening out to dinner!

Food was great. Service was extremely slow. The whole restaurant seemed very disorganized. Never refilled the water. Took 2 1/2 hours for dinner. We used some gift certificates we had and it took 1/2 hour to figure out the check. All in all, for a very expensive dining establishment it was a poor experience. A poor value.

Excellent food, great service, inside or outside dining right on the water. Expensive, but worth it. Good for special occasions. Calamari is excellent. Shrimp scampi and veal scallopini also excellent.

We always visit this restaurant when we come to Siesta Key! It is our favorite! The service is amazing and the food is always outstanding!

We had a wonderful meal, and the outside patio was just perfect. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived, but we went to the bar, which was a bit crowded. Other than that our server was perfection. We will be going back!

Not to be too mushy but our dining experience was a 10 out of 10. It didn’t hurt that it was a spectacular evening and we were seated outside on the terrace. No sooner did we sit down but a pod of dolphins swam, frolicking, by. There were at least eight when it was all over and my husband and I were blown away. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared and service was outstanding. Thank you Ophelia’s. We can’t wait to return.

Birthday. We happen to be there during a small wedding reception. It would have been even better without that going on. The reception was loud and a bit obnoxious. We do not fault the restaurant.

Our server Anne was very attentive. The food was fabulous and the ambiance by the water was the best setting. A night to remember!

The parking (if you can call it that) is terrible. i have been there several times and it was never as bad as last Saturday. Maybe I'll try HAPPY HOUR as that is earlier

I’m very sad leaving this review. I had high expectations after reading all of the reviews. The location on the bay is beautiful. I brushed off the less than warm welcome when we arrived. We arrived at 7:30 for our 7:45 Reservation. We were seated shortly after arrival which was nice. Our waiter was extremely short with us. He told us there were no specials and walked away. It seemed as though we were an inconvenience to him. We ordered and didn’t see him again for 35-45 min. Our appetizer (beef tartare) was served shortly after we ordered. It was delicious. We noticed a tray of food that was brought out by a food runner. It sat covered on the tray for 15 min. Our waiter finally arrived and started serving us the cold entrees. When my husbands plate was placed in front of him he touched the food to see if it was cold. The waiter realized he grabbed the wrong food and proceeded to take the plates and put them back on the tray. Another server grabbed the food (that my husband had already touched) and served it to another table. Completely unacceptable. When our server found our food it was placed on our table among the appetizer plates. We were stacking them and placing them in the flower boxes next to our table. Not the service you expect with the price of this place.. As you can imagine, our food was cold. However, our server was no where to be found. I ate cold scallops (which would have been delicious served hot). The server appeared after we were over half way through our meal. He asked if everything was ok. At this point I was beyond frustrated with our experience. This was my birthday celebration and he ruined the night with his attitude and lack of attention. All of the other servers were attentive to their tables. At no point did a manger come by to check on us even after we had complaints. I’m sad to leave this review. I believe it had a lot to do with the server. Management should be More visable.

Our first time at this place. Wonderful experience. Crab cakes especially good. I had the Mahi Mahi and my wife had salmon. Both were great Joel took very good care of us.

Wonderful waterside setting. Consistently good food and service. Have been coming for eight years. Slight tendency to bring the final check too quickly - but that's maybe typical in the USA

Ophelia's is one of our favorite restaurants. The Chef changes the menu everyday and all the dishes are superb. I especially love any of the seafood dishes and I am really picky. The atmosphere on the bay is beautiful. Every table has a view. I believe our last meal there on March 12th was the best one we've ever had which included delightful service.
