Ophelia's Electric Soapbox
Music schedule and ticket purchases can be found at opheliasdenver.com
Ophelia’s has taken many forms: located in the historic 1894-era Victorian Airedale building, it was a brothel, turned peep show, turned adult video library.
We serve as a restaurant, bar, and live music venue, with a boudoir-style
décor that honors the building’s past; and Ophelia, the muse. Continuing the Edible Beats tradition of delicious, responsibly-sourced food, the upscale, gastrobrothel-inspired menu will include fresh, craveable takes on flatbread
pizza, small plates, burgers, and shareable charcuterie boards.
Happy Hour: Monday - Friday: 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Dinner: Sunday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 12:00am, Friday -Saturday: 5:00pm - 1:00am

Holiday brunch, the food and music was amazing!
Family Christmas Brunch
I would have had a perfect night were it not for the christmas party downstairs. Their yelling constant whistling and screaming, cursing because members from their party were not by the stage for the fun and games, made it almost impossible to have quiet conversations in the seats right above. Even wait staff were appalled but no one stopped their 1 hour plus barage. I support holiday gatherings but not at the cost to other diners
Meatballs were the Best.
My meal of pulled pork benedict came without the pork. It took me forever to find our server so I could let her know. When I did, she said she had to go figure it all out as maybe I hadn't ordered correctly, I felt she felt I was untruthful. Then a man came and dumped a small bowl of pork on my table. Seriously? This is how you correct YOUR error, by dumping the missing ingredient on my table? Didn't it occur to you that for that high price for pulled pork benedict I might like the dish re-created in the presentation it should have been in the first place?
This wasn't my mistake, I would have appreciated this being made correct in the right way.
I never complain. I only spoke up because I was missing half the ingredients. Kept quiet after that because this was a family celebration for us.
I also tried to make a reservation but never received any confirmation and then, even though I did show up, I later got an email asking me why I was a no-show.
Totally felt like a criminal.
Love this place! Just wish they would have music playing during earlier dinner period. Second experience and can’t wait to go back!
This is now my new favorite place when I am in Denver! I actually made another reservation a few days later, because I had to return to Denver. First time there was with my sweetheart (husband), and we were very impressed. I took four girlfriends there the other night, and they told me for the following two days how much they loved it.
I have been coming to Ophelia's since they opened and they had a delicious appetizer called 'Spring Cheese Incident' (I believe was the name), that was this amazing mix of melted cheeses and herbs/spices with veggies and various items for dipping. They replaced w/Provelta basically a small skillet of melted provolone w/herbs/spices and two very tiny pieces of bread. Was not flavorful at all and we needed more bread and they charged us for a few more tiny pieces of bread. Pretty dissappointed in this menu item. I'm vegetarian so there is not alot on their menu I can eat. The volume in the far corner of the bar was quite loud. Really hard to talk to someone if you go there for dinner when there is a show going on. Probably won't eat dinner here for awhile. The drinks were lovely!
My spouse and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary together here. The staff was very friendly and helped in celebrating our night. The food and drink was wonderful and the ambient start of the night transitioned into a live band as the night went on. The service was the winner, KT our waitress, was excellent!
Incredible service. Great food. Rotating menu. Accomodating for restrictions.
Ophelia's is always awesome! Great food, great service, great entertainment. A Denver gem!
After reading reviews on Open Table and elsewhere, we were totally expecting a dive, live music bar. NOT the case! It’s classy, has a nice, modern design, and 95% of the seats have a great view of the stage. I also wasn’t expecting such a large bar that led me to believe we could pop in without a reservation, although not on a hot music night. Food was great, but maybe we loved it so much because the Flamenco Rock brunch was stellar. Definitely want to try Motown Night and others. A great experience overall.
Servers were not friendly , food was overpriced and a joke pretty much .
Charred Brussel sprouts were fantastic. Great music. Good vibes.
We took our family visiting from out of town to Ophelia's, we've been there for brunch many times and it's been great. The dinner we received was terrible, the mussels came out cold, the chicken sandwiches came out drenched in fish sauce that was so overpowering you couldn't get past the smell to even eat the sandwich. We gave our feedback and only the chicken sandwiches were comped (nothing done about the mussels). For the amount of money we spent there on cocktails, apps, and dinner, the dinner and service when we voiced our complaint was very disappointing.
The place is fun! Food is great and atmosphere is electric! Be sure to make a reservation or you may be waiting a long time for a table.
As usual, the music was wonderful, the service was fantastic and the food was delicious.
Best short ribs in town.
I wanted to love this place/menu! The band started an hour late (some of us have babysitters waiting for us!) and my dish (the chicken and waffles) was SO sweet that it was hard to eat. My hubby had the waygu sliders which were wonderful, so not the worst but not the best night out.
Everything was great except for the cappuccino.
Always fun. Great food. Interesting history. Good lineup of musical entertainment.
Just simply an amazing place. Makes dining an experience
Awesome, Motown Monday!
Love Ophelia’s! I always take friends that are visiting here for a fun brunch vibe! A little loud for a first date but definitely a fun place to go with friends or on a date!
Fun, upbeat waitstaff, fantastic food, vibrant atmosphere. The Saturday brunch DJs were excellent too,
Highly recommend the Pork Belly!
I went there for dinner on Motown Monday. They had a great DJ mixing old Motown classics with some newer beats. Had a great dinner and a real hard time sitting still in my seat. Just wish they had a dance floor. Over all, a very cool, funky restaurant/ bar. Would love to see a show there.
We had friends/co-workers come in from out of town. I wanted to bring them somewhere a little unique but still upbeat! They loved Ophelia's especially once 7 o'clock hit and MoTown Monday started!
Came here for dinner before a private concert. Sat up on the balcony and was able to watch soundcheck while eating dinner, which was a very special treat. Food, service and ambiance were wonderful. Can't wait to come back!
We had Sunday brunch at Ophelia's and it was everything we expected it to be - with regard to the menu immediate resolution should be an operating standard in any retail establishment. The noise level - both the acoustics and the blaring sound system used by the live band - made a Sunday brunch atmosphere unlike any I have ever experienced; great for a rock concert - not so much for a family dining experience. Perhaps it should be noted in OpenTable and even on the restaurant's website that if you are over 25 and/or have young children (both were true in our party of 8), you probably will not be able to have an interactive, social experience.
We love Opheila's and have been there several times. Our server was very nice and super helpful. The only minor complaint was that they don't have great seating for larger groups. We were six adults and they put us in a booth that was a bit tight. However, we all like each other so it worked for us. Food drinks have been consistently great here.
We loved Ophelia’s! Everything from the atmosphere, food and service was great!
Our first experience here was a little off putting as we were told upon checkin we had a certain amount of time at our table and would be kicked out of it and then seated at the bar (if there was room). Probably not the best way to impress first timers. It kind of ruined our experience to be honest as we felt like we had a timer going. Probably shouldn’t have made so many reservations for the same time?!
Very underwhelmed w the food, but I understand that brunch menus are not as thorough as the regular menu.
For a different experience, it was perfect. How can tourists go wrong eating wonderful, sustainably grown and raised food, in a former brothel, drag show about to begin, next door to a cannabis dispensary. For out of town guests, it was memorable all the way around. Food really was terrific!
Brunch was great.
Would defiantly go again.
My only issue was the taste of water and coffee.
Usually good, this time was just okay. One ribs appetizer came out cooked, but cold and the other plamtains were awesome! Three of four entrees were room temp, but still had good flavor. It was a busy Saturday night. I'm sure things just sat in the window too long. I'd still go back and recommend Ophelia's!
Worth a stop!
It was our first time here and it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, great service and delicious food. The music was high quality too!
