Ophelia's Electric Soapbox
Music schedule and ticket purchases can be found at opheliasdenver.com
Ophelia’s has taken many forms: located in the historic 1894-era Victorian Airedale building, it was a brothel, turned peep show, turned adult video library.
We serve as a restaurant, bar, and live music venue, with a boudoir-style
décor that honors the building’s past; and Ophelia, the muse. Continuing the Edible Beats tradition of delicious, responsibly-sourced food, the upscale, gastrobrothel-inspired menu will include fresh, craveable takes on flatbread
pizza, small plates, burgers, and shareable charcuterie boards.
What Insiders Are Saying
For a brunch with live music, go to Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox in the Highlands.
I love everything about Ophelia's. And listening to The Cure during a delicious brunch made me very very happy.
Cool, eclectic place with friendly staff and delicious food!
We love going here since the food is amazing. The live music is too loud for me because I cannot have a conversation at the table. Wish it just a little bit more quiet.
We have been to Ophelia's several times and we have never been disappointed.
We wanted something different for Mother's Day. Ophelia's is fun! Cute place, solid service. My husband and daughter's sandwiches were fantastic, mine was just fair. I had a great, assertive cocktail. Most restaurants with music are way too loud but we enjoyed Rascal Martinez and we were still able to talk to each other. Our 15 yo really enjoyed watching the band from seating one level above the stage. I'd go again!
Cool atmosphere, live music for brunch. Service was great. Order mixup was quickly resolved.
Chicken and waffles are very good as is the barbecues shrimp and grits.
Poor setting for mothers day brunch. Very loud - sat us in front of DJ. Normally that would be OK but not for mothers day. Food in the past was great but it was average on this visit.
We had reservations for Mothers Day. We were seated in a nice booth over looking the stage. We started with the bottomless Mimosa which was delicious. Our meals were the Quesadillas, Pancakes and Flank Steak and the Salmon special. I recommend all. There was good music and a comfortable atmosphere. This is our third time here and always enjoy the time.
Host team was great. Told them I was there for dinner since show was sold out and they let me know there was an extra ticket available! They also honored my request and gave me a seat with stage viewing and made sure I liked the location. Waitress was prompt , knowledgeable and friendly. Ambiance was good but the music got extremely loud towards the end of the show. Some patrons of the venue were also very drunk which detracted a bit from the overall ambiance but that was late in the evening. Great time overall.
My date and I had the best time!! We were very deep in conversation and our server was very kind and understanding that maybe we were just a bit too deep in conversation to look at the menu. She gave us plenty of time, was super understanding and was hilarious and sweet! Always will be one of my favorite restaurant and her we will certainly return!
I want to first say I really enjoyed our time here this past weekend, we ordered several things and all of them were very good. The part the bugs me a little is, they encourage you to order to share but, the portions that they bring out are rather small so its a couple bites each and it's gone. The other piece is its a little loud inside if you're trying to have a conversation with your table but, I guess that's kind of expected with live music. Overall the food was really good, the atmosphere is cool and unique and I'd go back again.
Excellent menu. I can’t believe I waited so long to try it. I will go again soon.
Drinks took a long time
Wasn’t quite sure what to expect, and we’ll never be confused for being trendy, but we were so glad we tried it. Awesome vibe on “Motown on Monday.” Food was top-notch. Service was quick and friendly.
Great food, great service and great times!
I have a soy allergy and they were very accommodating! The food was amazing, the show was great, and we had a wonderful time!
Great for date night!
Service outstanding. Noise too high for brunch. Music better as background. This was not a live show.
The best feature of this place is live music, but the place was so noisy that I couldn't hear singers words.
Food was average. Nothing wrong, but nothing to brag about.
I took my out of town cousin here while there was live music on a Wednesday evening for dinner. Ophelia’s offers a unique atmosphere and one of a kind menu. It’s an experience you can’t replicate and I think that’s important in creating a sense of place for Denver. Thanks Ophelia’s!
We had no idea what to expect when we went to Ophelia’s, but were so glad we checked it out. We love the other restaurants in this group, so it’s no surprise we had a good experience. Our server was quick and sweet. Taking good care of us but not disrupting the “show”.
There was a jam band playing down in the pit which cracked me up. Because we didn’t know what we to expect when we went in. It was fun. The band breaks were also nice to break up the noise for a bit.
The food was excellent. I had a flat bread and my husband had a salad. Lots of places really just phone it in with salads, but this was an excellent salad! The flatbread was also delicious!
We had fun and are looking forward to returning in the future with my live-music-loving parents in tow!
The best part of the meal was the cake we had for dessert! So yummy! Toasted zucchini cake with fresh fruit.
So outrageously loud during brunch. The band was good but it could have been half as loud and still been loud. I couldn’t have a conversation at my table without having to yell.
As always the experience was wonderful overall. This is my go to brunch spot. I skipped the Loco Poutine Skillet this time but I will say, it was greatly missed. It is amazing!
Awesome place for live music and good times! Loved my drinks but food was so so....typical bar food. Just come for great drinks, loud music, and fun times!
Fantastic venue with great music! Food was priced right and good portions!
Brunch with live music doesnt get much better than this. Great Food and Atmosphere.
Such a great experience! Our neighbors had not been and loved how different it is!
Ok the whole team treated us right on our anniversary night!
My first visit to Ophelia's ... I took some out-of-town guests and we had a great time. The music was very interesting and the food was very nice. Chelsea, our server, took great care of us. Highly recommend.
Love this place! Always a fantastic experience and love bringing out of town guests here too!
Amazing staff, ambiance and food. It was a low key brunch on a hectic Easter Sunday with the Rockies in town. Cannot praise the Ophelia's team enough, wonderful crew.
Got to the restaurant at our reservation time, but had to wait for a seat inside. Host was not very welcoming.
Menu items were eclectic. We had an 11:30am appointment and they had already 86ed Sangria.
Food was pretty good, except the eggs in the benedict were undercooked. Portion size was small.
Very cool layout. Seating at the counter was tight, but once sitting it was a good view. Kinda loud for trying to talk to each other. Food was pretty good, drinks were good and value was alright. I should have been more drunk, my experience was my own fault.
Food was delicious with lots of gluten free options. Loved the ambiance!
Turn on your AC and I could’ve stayed and drank longer
Our groups went for a birthday brunch. Amazing food and good service! A little expensive for what we got, but worth the experience. Sadly, no dessert or drink for the birthday girl. Otherwise, a wonderful experience!
Always fantastic here!
1st time in Denver. This was highly recommended by a Yoga instructor from "Yoga High".
Awesome place, ambience, food, & entertainment. Intering history too! Our server was great & tentative.
We were seated as requested, in a very great location to view the musicians!
Definitely would love to come back to Denver & explore more, and come back here. Nice plant base menu options too.
I LOVED Ophelia's. This was my first time going here and I enjoyed the vibe and live music. I will definitely be going back again.
Brunch Date. Great company. Good food. Live music... BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS!
