Walk-in seating is available at the 24 seat bar and offers the full menu.
Amazing food, service and Ambience. Definitely try the Gyros. Although you cannot go wrong with anything you order here.
Always have a great meal and good vibe at OPA
Food was OK but not great. Hummus appetizer was decent, salad average quality but lamb gyro quite disappointing. Greasy and tasted like deep fried mystery meat. Service was really slow. Waited about 30 minutes between courses. Beer empty for more than 30 minutes. Take a pass.
Great little restaurant. Table was ready right away for our 7PM reservation, a large party was just leaving after we were seated so noise wasn't an issue. Menu was awesome, amount of food was perfect. Love the little plates and ordering as you go, not ordering one big plate of food. Too many tasty options at this place!
Good Mediterranean food
We went to Opa on Saturday not realizing it was the day of the Midtown festival. It was very crowded and very loud however the staff made sure we were served promptly and were very attentive! Great food!
Do not come here if you’re hungry. The serving sizes of the entrees are more like appetizers. This is not your typical Greek restaurant- it is a Greek restaurant which appears to be attempting trendiness with it’s tiny nouvelle cuisine sized portions. If I ever come back, it will be for drinks and appetizers only. Beautiful ambiance, but very disappointing food. My husband ordered souvlaki - it consisted of 2 small skewers of meat. Period. Sides sold separately. Not a fan.
Terrible service. The first entree for our party of 5 came out 20 minutes before the last entrees.
We went to Opa before. Our waitress, whom we had before was very friendly and accommodating. The food was beautifully prepared in Greek style. The portions were not huge, but very tasty and filling from the extraordinarily light pita with the tzadziki to yummy lamb chops and fish filet. With the bar dominating the small space and music, it does get noisy, but not so loud one needs to shout.
Appetizers were great. Main course and dessert were greasy and disappointing. Service and drinks were nothing to write home about. Would not go again
Excellent food! We were there for restaurant week. Highly recommend
Went here with my friend for restaurant week so we got to try a bunch of things and everything was very good! I will definitely be back
Parking can be tough. There are garages but it’s easier to just Lyft/Uber. We had reservations as part of Restaurant Week.
Table wasn’t ready yet at our reservation time but they did us a favor and gave us a window table immediately when some customers finished and left.
There was a set menu and all the food that we chose was great. Highly recommend.
The food came out quickly and accurately, and the service was great!
One of my new favorite places. Can't wait to go back.
Love the food and the ambience! The hummus and lamb are always an excellent choice.
Restaurant week date night. Friendly staff, food was delicious. Great sampling of dishes. Will definitely go again. Loved the desserts - baklava and the white cake - hand made with love by the owner!
We went during restaurant week and I think the kitchen was a little overwhelmed because the food was taking very long to come out and they forgot things several times. The servers were also pretty understaffed and not super attentive. With that said, I must say that our server did acknowledge that this was going on and made an effort to make the situation right by offering a dish on them.
All the food and the service were amazing the waitress knew the menu and was able to recommend some very good dishes
Came to Opa with a group of 4 before a show a few blocks away. Alotted ourselves 1 hour & 45 min before showtime, figuring that was more than enough time to be served dinner and get to the show in time. Despite communicating with the staff from the start of us arriving, and continuously throughout the meal that we were on a schedule, the service was painfully slow. Appetizers were served an hour after arriving, and our entrees were served an hour & a half after arriving. Which was when we needed to be finishing up our meals. Our group had to quickly manage a few bites down before asking for boxes for our meals to finish later, including our desserts. I could understand this type of service had the restaurant been busy, but we were one of no more than 4 tables the whole time. We also were ordering off the restaurant week menu, which is limited, and I would expect those items to be getting prepared more quickly. Not sure if they were understaffed this night, but as we were trying to urgently pay our tab, get boxes & leave, the waitstaff was non-existent. We even had to go into the kitchen to get someone just so we could pay.
The icing on the cake was when we arrived for our show, the theater wouldn't allow us to bring food in, so we had to toss our uneatten meals & desserts at the curb.
The food we did manage to eat was good, but the terrible service & slow kitchen made for an unpleasant experience at Opa. Likely will not return.
We came here when family came in from out of town to visit. The hummus was amazing and the village salad. Would highly recommend the shrimp skewers as well. Additionally, the food came out so fast which was awesome. Overall, the entire dining experience was great. The only complaint was the fact that some of the drinks we all ordered (exact same drinks) all tasted differently (some sweeter than others).
The food seemed bland / unseasoned across the board.
Great food and a nice location :)
My second visit to Opa. The first time was disappointing, dinner, not lunch, and you were gracious enough to give me a gift card. Once again, I hosted 2 out of town friends, and another friend joined us.
We especially enjoyed the mushroom/cauliflower plate. The spinach croquettes were tasty. The watermelon salad was refreshing and flavorful, but hardly enough to share.
The fava bean hummus was again, bland. All agreed it had no flavor and the texture was too creamy.
The gift card covered a portion of the $86 dollar bill.
All felt that prices were too high for (even tho we were warned the plates were small) the amount of food, basically appetizers, that is served.
The pitas are like clouds. So delicious. Everything was fresh and melted in your mouth.
My server took very good care of me, and the food was delicious! Best lamb in a long time!
Food was very good, drinks were okay but the service was awesome.
Service was amazing, great prices for quality food. Restaurant is trendy and appealing on the inside, but it was a little hot temperature wise, especially in the bathrooms.
We were a little disappointed about the order in which the food came out, and how quickly we were done with our five shared small plates. We should have paced our dining experience by ordering one or two plates at a time. The food was very good.
Profoundly mediocre. Enough said.
My daughter made an excellent choice! Enjoyed every plate... lamb chops, perfect & pita & hummus is superb.
I thought it is a Greek restsurant but they don’t really have any Greek food
It is mostly like tapas style which is good for sharing die Oakley fir me that I’m not a big eater
The waitress was nice and priced as reasonable
Food was delicious. Everything was small plate style, which was great so that we could try some more foods for the table.
Menu options seemed good but delivery was poor. Hummus was bland. Meats had flavor.
They were unable to accommodate a sea food allergy
Cute place, casual and comfortable, open front windows giving you that outside feel. Food was excellent, service outstanding - genuine care for the diners, attentive without being obtrusive. Looking forward to going back.
Loved our first time dining at Opa! The food and service is outstanding. Everything was delicious, especially the baklava. Can’t wait to go back again next time we are in Philadelphia!
Food was good but not great. Lamb was chewy. Would not return with all the choices available.
Service was very friendly and helpful, food was good. Parking was typical city parking. Baklava was outstanding
