Visited for Downtown Dining Week 5/31/25, and it was fantastic. Seated on time on a busy Saturday night, generous portions on the special menu, top notch food and very pleasant service. The golden beet and the arugula salad was delicious!

We liked Onesto and will likely return. Nice buzzy atmosphere in a cool part of town. The food has some hits and misses which is why 4 stars instead of 5. Will provide some comments in order. The bread service was delicious. Nice crusty bread with creamy butter that had been sprinkled with sea salt. For appetizers we got the bruschetta and the marinated olives. The bruschetta was unique and grew on me while the olives were delicious (and included a huge portion). We got a warm mushroom salad which has a lot of potential. It would have benefited from more mushrooms and fewer cranberries. Our entrees were the campanelle pasta and the short rib. The ragu was well made with delicious hints of fennel. The short rib was fall apart tender. We couldn't help feeling that both dishes could have been a touch "bolder". The flavors were too muted for our unsophiticated palates! The flourless chocolate cake and creme brulee cheesecake were scrumptious.

Food was decent nothing special. Drinks were good, would maybe come back for appetizers and a few drinks but that's about it.

Very nice visit. This was our fifth time eating at onesto and we visited for mother's day to escape the brunches. Made reservations and only had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes for our table. Menu was new for spring and the selections were delicious. Service was very good. Drinks were good as well. Nothing exceptional, just a solid good meal, which is what we wanted and always receive here. The lemon dessert was interesting. Sort of a creme brulee attempt. We will go back of course, we always do. Love the bread!!! Highly recommend.
