One2One Restaurant & Bar Ratings and Reviews
The food was great as well as the service. I was confused/concerned to see such a small crowd on a Saturday night. However this worked out great and we loved our meals. The filet bruschetta was a great app and the meatloaf was the perfect entree. Looking forward to next time.
This restaurant has some mighty fine kitchen mojo happening! We went tonight for dinner and everything was flawless ... from the service to the food and drinks -- excellent! I had the best salad I have ever eaten at any restaurant tonight. It consisted of field greens accompanied by fata cheese and candied pecans and cranberries dressed with a light raspberry vinaigrette. It was fresh, very lightly dressed and the flavors were excellent together. I also had the kobe meatloaf -- it too was moist with very nice flavoring and a light balsamic glaze which added just the right amount of pop to the dish. My husband had the pepperoni pizza. He's from NY so we're used to a certain type of pizza. My only input would be that they could spice up the sauce and the dough a bit more, but that's a matter of taste.
We have been here several times before and have never been disappointed, but tonight we were WOW'd! The chef's were on fire tonight! Well done One2One! We'll be back.
PS -- Please make this salad your signature salad....yes, it's that good...and I'm a salad snob!
We met a small group of friends here for brunch. It wasn't crowded at all so we received great service and got to pick any table we wanted. The brunch menu was limited, but fun. We tried beignets and a few entrees. All were pretty good. Might not be great for foodies, but for a get together before an IKEA trip, it's perfect.
Very odd experience. Went with the family on Father's Day mostly because we could get a table via Open Table but that should have given me pause to consider my choice more carefully. The restaurant was virtually empty and the service was painfully slow. The waitress was good but I think the problem was somewhere between her and the kitchen. The food was average at best. We ordered "New Orleans Beignets" and were served something more like fried puff patties soaked in chocolate sauce. Not a sign of powdered sugar anywhere. The rest of the meal went downhill from there. Tiny portions on the French dip and my son thought there was an "odd" taste to the pizza. The salad was soaked in dressing. I will not go back and definitely would not recommend.
Sub par, Father's Day meal that took too long to get and the service was even longer. Sunday brunch had 15 things to choose from and they were less than great. What made everyone look away from the really bad service and lack food prep was their DELICIOUS FRENCH FRIES!! The only thing that saved this review from being a 1 STAR.
Visited for Mothers Day Brunch. Have been to One2One many times in the past, and have always had a nice meal and experience. Mothers Day Brunch was a buffet. Food was good, but not at same level as when ordering from menu. Appreciate them pulling together the Mothers Day event..
Great looking place, but at prime time Friday night the dining room had a total of 6 tables with people. We quickly discovered why... this place for what you get is 25% overpriced. So you'd think they'd make that up with service...well that wasn't the case.
Service was super slow and staff was overwhelmed. Place was not full, but they were working with a HS Prom group of 24 people in a back room. Thought our staff had left as it took so long. Great concept and food, just poor service this night.
We were looking forward to our (re)visit since we hadn't been back since NYE. That meal was fabulous so we somewhat expected our return to be similar. The happy hour menu is only offered in the bar area from 4-7. Although we were told by the hostess we made it in time for happy hour, our waitress told us differently. It was only offered in the bar area. So we went ahead and ordered our dinner. We started with the wild game sausage plate (good, there wasn't much gamey flavor and had a spicey kick to it) and the lobster taquitos (so mediocre don't have words for it) were quite pricey for appetizers. The strawberry fig salad would have been great had it not been drowned in salad dressing which made the lettuce limp. The prime rib French dip sandwich was extremely average - getting a sandwich at Texadelphia would have been 100% better and more exciting. The prime rib was overcooked so it was a bit dried out and slightly tough. There was not enough meat with the bread, so it seemed you were getting way too much bread for the serving.
So not only was our dinner a disappointment, our night spiraled down from our meal. As we were walking out to our car, the valet that evening decided he would park vehicles on the sidewalk in addition to coning off and taking all of the front parking spots. As we were walking on the sidewalk, when the valet pulled a vehicle right up in front of us on the sidewalk and parked. There already several coned and reserved parking spots empty but valet also needed the sidewalk too. We reported it to the manager that it was illegal and against fire and parking code to park on the sidewalk (and just not right). He verbally accosted us and asked us "what was our problem", he "didn't know us" and that we "were no longer welcome there". HA! I already knew we weren't going back. Management should never be as unprofessional to its guess. Rules and laws do not apply here. Our NYE dinner was a complete and totally different experience.
I loved the Watermelon Salad, my husband savored his Caprese salad with a twist, it was a roasted red pepper filled with mozzarella cheese and melted in the wood fired oven, with tamatillos. I had the Salmon that was "pan seared" to perfection. My husband had the special, a Red Snapper that was blackened and suffed with crab. The broccolini and squash that was served with it made for the perfect bite.
The look was great, the chefs looked ready and eager to cook for us. However the wait staff was very slow and did not get any order right. They took forever to get our drink order then even longer to get it to us. My husband had to go find him to tell him we wanted to order brunch. There were only 4 tables in there including us so it should have been outstanding service. The French toast was way overcooked and dry. The tacos didn't have what we ordered on them and for 68.00 we didn't eat our meal. We did have mimosas that were good and the chef brought out a cute tower of sliced apples for the kids. That was the best part. Sorry, I love.giving good reviews and ratings but I just regret the money and time spent there today.
I suggested we go to this restaurant because of the great pizza, salads, and cocktails. The noise level is perfect for good conversation. Additionally, this was easy access for a handicapped friend. Everyone really enjoyed their adults night out. Nice menu selection. Great service, nice bar, too. Was a little warm, but they turned up the a/c right away when we asked.
We were looking for a place to eat Sunday brunch. On Sundays it is almost impossible to go to a restaurant with less than an hour and a half wait. We saw an open reservation on Open Table for this restaurant and thought we would try it. When we got there at noon, there was only 1 car in the parking lot and we should have taken that as a bad sign, but we didn't. Even though there was only 1 other table occupied, it took 20 minutes to get our drinks. When we ordered it took 45 minutes to get our food. The French toast was soggy and the chicken and waffles was just a waffle and a piece of chicken on the plate with absolutely no presentation or sides, not even a piece of parsley or any butter. It is probably the worst restaurant experience that we have ever had. The restaurant is beautiful but the food and service is horrible.
Every dish was average to poor. The restaurant is like an overpriced Red Robin. The restaurant looks great, and the service was good, but the food was bad.
I live in the neighborhood, I want the restaurant to do well. They must improve the quality of their food.
A little disappointed. We got sat in an overflow banquet room and had to ask to be seated in main dining room. Website advertised that the pre-fixe menu would be in conjunction with a limited regular menu but were told only option is pre-fixe. Service was slow and disorganized (especially for only pre-fixe menu). We ordered crab stuffed red snapper and we got red snapper. When mentioned to the waiter he brought us a side plate of seasoned crab. While the food did taste good, just what a waste of a night. Will not go back based on this experience.
We dined here on Valentine's Day and they had a Prix Fixe menu only. We thought, okay we'll give this a try, however the food was horrible. The roasted chicken was cold, hard and dry and tasted bland. They had a beautiful wood fired oven and all I could think was why not crisp up my soggy chicken in there!?
My partner had the ribeye and it was thin and hard to find a bite without tough fat and gristle...decent flavor though! This was all for $70 per person. I don't mind prix fixe menus if your food supports the price, but in this case it was a total swing and a miss. The restaurant has great ambiance and service, but please improve the food quality. I'm willing to pay more for quality food but what we were served was not worth a quarter of what was charged.
