Consistently good food here and our server was great. One area for improvement is that the kitchen and dining area are so close together that there is often an employee or two who is in head-down/busy/production kitchen mode which spills over to diners' attention. I've noticed this each time I've come. Will definitely come back as every other aspect is very positive.
We had a business lunch meeting at ORD. It was very nice, quiet and great service. I had the ahi tuna salad and it was ok. Not outstanding. but fine. my colleagues had the steak salad and both were extremely complimentary of their meals. I would like to go back for dinner and see how dinner stacks up. That was my first time at the restaurant.
We love coming here and sitting at the chef's counter and enjoying excellent food at a good price. We have been here a handful of times and have always been quite pleased with our dining experience. The menu has many great choices done to perfection. If you want excellent dining in a comfortable environment at a reasonable price, this is the place to go.
I made my reservation in advance in preparation for my wedding anniversary. Upon arriving we were greeted and seated quickly. The patio was full, however inside only had a few diners. We were seated inside at a table for 2 next to the entryway vestibule. The table we were sat at was narrower than all other tables and the chairs could not be moved because the whole table and chairs setup was wedged between the vestibule supports. While the waiter was introducing himself, I inquired if we could move to one of the other three tables for two that were open. The waiter disappeared to ask for us and returned saying those tables had been reserved.
Upon finding this we left.
The food was great! The waiter was wonderful! The hostess was rude, seemed like we were an inconvenience to her. Never smiled, sat us down and took the extra silverware and glasses off the table in a huff. Other than her everything about this Resturant was excellent!
Everything was excellent A-Z. My crab stuffed trout was fantastic, and gigantic. We also had the cripy skin chicken and the garden burger All very tasty and well prepared, accompanied by delicious roasted veggies. We also recomend the charcuterie board app. The duck sausage is not to be missed.
This was our first time to One Red Door and we will be back! Food was great and Lyndsey was an outstanding server. She was kind, attentive and a joy to be around. She was helpful with the menu since it was our first visit and gave guidance as requested.
Burger was outstanding, salads great, date bites were delicious and cocktails were good too! Overall a very nice evening. Thank you!
We dined there for Brunch on Saturday and began with the Bloody Mary bar and then enjoyed a Lobster Omelette, Lobster Roll and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Only after inquiring about the lobster and finding out they fly it in daily, we ordered it - it was quite good!
Had dinner there on a Tuesday night. Was rushed by waitress and wait staff. Food was just OK. Waitress took our food order while holding a pile of dirty plates she had just cleaned off another table. Very odd! Had dinner there a couple of weeks ago on a Thursday night and the food and service were outstanding!
Went for brunch on Sunday (07/16/17). Food was some of the best we've had. My wife had the shrimp and grits. I'm not a fan of grits, but these were outstanding. I did the steak , eggs and potatoes, I can not recommend this meal enough, just a word of warning-- be hungry-- the serving is huge as was the shrimp and grits.
The Bloody Mary bar was worth a second trip.
I would rank this as a go to brunch location.
It was our 27th Wedding Anniversary. The food was quite good. My wife had the steak and I had the Grouper. The Grouper came with three sides that I didn't like... and they subbed out other sides. That was great. I put in my reservation that it was our anniversary... and I was surprised that the restaurant didn't say anything. No big deal... just a little deal and it would have pumped my ego. We had a bottle of champagne with our meals and the bill was $100.00. It was worth it.
