All 3 of us liked our meal, and the service was top notch. Refills were there every time a glass got close to empty.
Our server, Nicole was amazing. I never had to ask for anything twice. It was just a great experience. I wish we could clone her at other restaurants:)
Poor bread. No excuse for it. I have already written to the owner regarding this. Offered to personally provide good, artisanal bread gratis, have not heard back yet.
We are always thrilled to come here.
For the price, the food was only mediocre. We ordered a few different items and the only thing that wowed us was the Shrimp and Grits.
Our server was awesome and the setting was spectacular.
The restrooms, at least the men’s room, wasn’t very well cared for and only one toilet was “operational” and it wouldn’t flush.
Disappointed in the lobster roll-very skimpy for the price
Great food and service. Grouper is really good.
Food and service were good. Overpriced considering salad was extra, and no starch came with scallops.
First off we were seated in back booth that was enclosed and by kitchen door which we heard and felt open and close. Because of the enclosures booth the waiter couldn’t see us and we had to wave him down for everything. Just kept forgetting us. No plans on going back
Was at One Red Door for my birthday. I opted for the special/Red Snapper. It was very very delicious. Perfectly cooked and great portion. I would recommend this restaurant (and FlipSide) to all my friends in the area. Although I noted it was my birthday on this website and also mentioned it to my server, no comment was made.
My only complaint is that they packed a few too many tables in. Our table was directly next to and above another table, so we were basically sitting next to the strangers next to us; only separated by the iron rails.
The food was fantastic, but we did have to listen to four stranger's conversations.
Everything was great from start to finish! Recently moved to OH...best dinner out since our arrival! Can’t wait to go back!
Food is very well presentated. We had the Grouper but did not care for the flavors.
First time back in 5 years. Food was really good. No complaints, it was I expected. Would recommend for a night out, date etc.
First time dining at One Red Door, did not disappoint, food, service, ambiance all great, will definitely come back.
We were a party of two and both enjoyed a lovely lunch in a beautiful restaurant.
I recommended the burger, and my friend(who came all the way fro NH) said it was “the best burger she had ever had!!” Loved the Brussels sprouts too!! Wait staff was very attentive
Two years ago, we said we wouldn’t eat at this restaurant again. The chef had undercooked my salmon. When I sent it back to be cooked a bit longer, he literally lost his temper and threw a skillet (this restaurant features an open kitchen). It was embarrassing. As Hudson residents, we like to support our local businesses and decided to give it one last try. What a mistake. We ordered an entree that was undercooked. Sent it back, it came back a bit warmer, but not worth the hassle. They did offer us dessert, but we declined. I did not recommend this restaurant. Try 3 Palms, one of the owner’s other restaurants, instead.
I simply love this place, I have never been disappointed by the service or food, I enjoy the variety of the menu and appreciate their ability to accommodate special dietary needs. They never make it seem like it is an issue.
Always a great meal!
We had a great meal tonight! Lots of small plates- each cooked to perfection. An hours drive, but so worth it.
The scallop dish was fabulous - but it needs a carb such as risotto or rice.
Great food. A bit pricey but delicious.
We read the reviews prior to making reservations and made them with some hesitancy. They were spot on. Awesome atmosphere, over priced but delicious food. I'm willing to accept that fact in today's restaurant scene. However, what will keep me from going back is the mediocre to poor service we received. Our server had zero personality, was unfamiliar with the beer and wine list and not once did he check back on our dinners or entrees. When I inquired if my salad could not be served "chopped", I was simply told no. The salad
was premade at the beginning of each evening. There are to many amazing restaurants in the area to put up with poor customer service.
Our experience at One Red Door started off being not so great, but in the end we enjoyed ourselves. We had a NYE's reservation for 9:30. When we arrived there was no host so there was about a five minute period where we stood at the door. We were passed by a few staff members but they ignored us. The person who seated us ended up being our server, who informed us that the restaurant had sent nearly everyone home because they had been "dead" earlier on in the evening. From there everything was slow and we considered walking out. Once things were rolling, the food was excellent. One complaint is that we were served a charcuterie board without any crackers and had to ask for some. We were given toasted bagel chips. For how much we paid, I feel a bit jipped, but we're willing to give ORD another chance.
We decided upon One Red Door as our New Years Eve Dinner. We arrived early but they seated us right away. The server was very nice, genuine and attentive. The menu had many unique and interesting choices for the holiday. We opted for a trio of nuts appetizer. Very unique! Warm seasoned nuts, a great choice to start the evening. We then ordered salads, which were both huge! Word to the wise: split one! As our main dishes, we settled upon a grouper dish and the Lobster Thermidor. Both were excellent, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The sides were just as tasty. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and we are looking forward to dining at One Red Door again very soon.
second time back and just as good a first time. service second to none and the steaks wow!!! will come back again
Outstanding food and atmosphere! The Brussels sprouts are very good...
Nice ambiance. Food OK, not great. I haven't been here for a few years. Still a nice place to go, but not as good as I recall. Our server Morgan was very good.
Food left much to be desired. We have been here in years past. Definitely not worth going again.
Always a great dinner
Great place to enjoy a leisurely dinner with friends
Went for Brunch. Great food. Good service. A bit loud and a bit on the higher end price wise but everyone enjoyed the get together.
Fantastic Food and Service. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. I can't wait to come back!
Great place for breakfast with good food and good service. I would go again. Dinner was another story: slow service- very slow, and high priced food for what you got. Great for breakfast, not for dinner.
Amazing food and service. Don’t miss the bolognese or spinach salad!
Everything was perfect, great food, great service, great value!
Sad, soggy salads, pizza ok but not special. Crust thin and good.
Consistently good food here and our server was great. One area for improvement is that the kitchen and dining area are so close together that there is often an employee or two who is in head-down/busy/production kitchen mode which spills over to diners' attention. I've noticed this each time I've come. Will definitely come back as every other aspect is very positive.
Red Door is our absolute favorite for Sunday Brunch. The eggs Benedict are so good, we never venture to anything else on the menu! Haha.
