best food in Dublin for the money ( 55 euro for 3 course ).
We had a fantastic dinner in One Pico last Friday night. The food was absolutely excellent and everyone enjoyed their choices. I took photos of my courses of what were very artistically presented dishes and very high quality, tasty food. The staff were very friendly and efficient and service was very smooth. A very memorable occasion and we all really enjoyed eating in this classy restaurant. Well done to all the chefs and service staff and thank you!
Really great food, seasonal menu, excellent service, lovely wine list
We found this off the beaten path and within walking distance from hotel. After eating so we’ll all week in Dublin, we really did not seek out special, but we were surprised how special this place was compared to our other choices. As my boss said, “hidden gem.”
Don’t hesitate! And get the cheese. :-)
Tucked away in downtown Dublin, One Pico is an excellent restaurant. It is small and very intimate. The service is performed by top notch professionals who are willing to please, but are unobtrusive. The food is creative, appealing to the eye and very delicious. It i not cheap but worth every penny. You would miss out on something special id you were in Dublin and missed an opportunity to dine here.
We have eaten here a number of times and is normal great, however got the fish this time and it was raw, the staff were very nice however, they only took €10 of the bill for the fish being raw, which I felt was not good enough.
The food was incredible although the menu is limited. Service was very efficient but not intrusive. Really looking forward to eating there again.
Excellent on all levels, maybe a bit pricey. Both my children (young adults) said it was the best food they had ever eaten in a restaurant. It was very tasty and presentation was excellent. Lovely relaxing decor. This is a place where one should be prepared to spend some time while eating out in order to make the most of the special athmosphere and food.
lovely meal. Some fairly standard items (like Onion soup) done so brilliantly and served so creatively that they became instant special treats!
Wine good and fair range of prices.
and pre-theater deal is great value!!
Its amazing place, very romantic atmosphere , food it’s be excellent! High recommend for everyone.
Absolutely fabulous meal and service fantastic, worth travelling from Belfast.
I really enjoyed my dining experience at One Pico. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly.
Spectacular meal, wonderful ambience. Sadly, indifferent service.
A real pleasure to dine at One Pico!
Great food, wine and super processional but friendly service... I will return!
Food was absolutely delicious, a little on the pricey side in general but considering the standard of the food, not overly expensive. Our waiter was very charming and friendly.
My only criticism was the restaurant was a little too bright and there was no background music at all to create a nice ambience, just my opinion.
Also, the man pouring our water, poured with vigor to put it lightly. More finess would create a higher end image for one Pico.
having taken the time to inform the restaurant that there was two kids , this was not catered for.
Charging 40 euro ahead for a 9 and 11 year old is poor
while the food was very good it is not value for money
2nd time here. Previosly in Polo dining room for my brother's private stag party. Staff, Service and Cuisine remain excellent. One Pico is truly a real treat for many special occasions and good to impress for business lunch/dinners. Allez One Pico! 😁
We were entertaining American visitors. We had a most enjoyable meal. The food was excellent as was the wine. The service was a bit slow but it was only a Tuesday night. It wasn't a problem.
It was quiet and pleasant.
Excellent experience, love the food and the ambience, perfect for a special occasion!
Lovely lunch, great service, very nice surroundings. Highly recommended.
Always a fantastic experience at One Pico. We will be back
Thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful evening in One Pico. Everything was perfect!
As always One Pico was worth the visit , it is consistently good.
The food was pretty good but the service was so so awful. 15 mind waiting to even order a drink. Very slow between courses. One of our mains orders was gotten wrong so one of us couldn't eat at the same time and they barely even apologized and there was no offer of a small discount as a result. Nobody asked us how our food was and they didn't care when we said we were disappointed
Food and wine excellent. Service excellent but unpretentious. Well priced for the quality they offer. I live in London , One Pico is my favourite restaurant.
not a great value for money - very expensive
dishes served in a creative way fish was good , fillet meat was tough
service was friendly although they forgot to serve tea and coffee together with the cake, at all
ambience was very good, nice music
white wine we choose was excellent
all in all was o.k. just pricy for such level of experience
Food was very nice, good quality but limited enough menu
Beautiful food and great glass of wine pairings if you're not having a bottle.
Imaginative food, beautifully prepared, with excellent service
We reserved at tis restaurant for the new year eve. It was a lovely moment, the service make every effort to listen to the customers and the cuisine is delighting.
Delightful as always. Food, service, atmosphere and general ambience was brilliant. We loved our lunch and look forward to our next visit - but it’ll be for a dinner!
Very nice lunch for a birthday celebration food was excellent and service likewise. Wine list was extensive
It felt like no major effort was made. The staff were nice but appeared very quiet and lacking a bit of rapport. One thing which stood out was how incredibly small the starter and main course portions were. The dessert was perfect size. There was literally nothing left on our plates. We really dislike big portions and find them off putting, however, for the first time ever, we found ourselves shocked at how small these portions were. Room for improvement.
Welcoming staff, delicious food on the Christmas menu , comfortable seats - all in all a lovely experience, I hope to be back to eat from the full menu in 2018.
We had a quiet and very pleasant time with delicious food in a comfortable setting.
In today’s Dublin, there is no shortage of exquisite dining options, but until tonight, we had not experienced One Pico. Everything about our meal was delightful - elegant decor tastefully enhanced for the holidays; creative and delicious food (the venison...oh, my!); great wine list and friendly, attentive yet unobtrusive staff...the perfect blend! We cannot wait to return for another excellent meal!
The food was excellent and the staff were very nice. However I felt it was a bit pricey for the experience. 300e for lunch for 5 and 2 of those had half portions as they were children.. A few extra touches would have be a pleasant touch, chocolates with the bill or amuse bouche etc.Nevertheless it was nice, But it could have been great.
Lunch service took too long, over two hours. I don't mind fine dining being a slower service but there were long 40 minute gaps between plates. Good was great of course.
Very rushed lunch, small portions. Service brusque.
Set menu much better value for lunch than a la carte
Great wine selection
We were eating here before going to the theatre and the food was as good as any we have eaten which added to the excellent and friendly service means we would not hesitate to recommend One Pico to anyone for any occasion. Brian and Carmel
