One Pico Ratings and Reviews
not a great value for money - very expensive
dishes served in a creative way fish was good , fillet meat was tough
service was friendly although they forgot to serve tea and coffee together with the cake, at all
ambience was very good, nice music
white wine we choose was excellent
all in all was o.k. just pricy for such level of experience
It felt like no major effort was made. The staff were nice but appeared very quiet and lacking a bit of rapport. One thing which stood out was how incredibly small the starter and main course portions were. The dessert was perfect size. There was literally nothing left on our plates. We really dislike big portions and find them off putting, however, for the first time ever, we found ourselves shocked at how small these portions were. Room for improvement.
In today’s Dublin, there is no shortage of exquisite dining options, but until tonight, we had not experienced One Pico. Everything about our meal was delightful - elegant decor tastefully enhanced for the holidays; creative and delicious food (the venison...oh, my!); great wine list and friendly, attentive yet unobtrusive staff...the perfect blend! We cannot wait to return for another excellent meal!
The food was excellent and the staff were very nice. However I felt it was a bit pricey for the experience. 300e for lunch for 5 and 2 of those had half portions as they were children.. A few extra touches would have be a pleasant touch, chocolates with the bill or amuse bouche etc.Nevertheless it was nice, But it could have been great.
The restaurant was recommended to me and it was perfect. Three of us were out for a girlie evening having gone to the theatre. The restaurant was just perfect.
The atmosphere and decor was calming and sophisticated and all the members of staff were so friendly and polite.
We choice the pre-theatre menu and our food was fabulous - 'the best restaurant food tasted in a very long time.'
We are looking forward to returning for another exceptional fine dining experience.
One Pico was recommended to us by a good friend and Director of one of the finest art and gardens in the world. It is his favorite dining spot in Ireland where they have visited seven times. We were not disappointed. One Pico has an elegant ambiance with a most interesting menu, including wild red leg partridge with an appropriate warning about potential shot in the bird. It was the highlight dining experience for us.
One Pico offers an exceptional dining experience. One of the finest meals we have ever had. The chef is brilliant providing a perfect menu. The price is very reasonable for a meal of this caliber. The ambiance is sophisticated and quiet, enhancing the quality of the dinner. We will return every time we travel to Dublin
The food was creative and perfectly proportioned as well as totally delicious. The recommended wine was outstanding with each dish. We were treated with courtesy and respect by all staff and thoroughly enjoyed every minuute of our culinary experience. The background music was atmospheric and not overpowering to our conversation. Seating was comfortable and the table linens and cutlery were perfect. I have booked again for Oct 16th!
AS always my cousin and I enjoyed our meal. Food is always good and always consistent quality. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed, yet classy enough for big occasion. Only one crib, thought coffee at 4.50 euro was bit pricey , and always would like to encourage restaurants to offer 2nd cup as a treat.
We return to your restaurant quite often as we know we will be well looked after .
Wish you well for the future
Cute bar for a cocktail. Lovely French accents. Delicious wine - bring money. Plates not large portions. Vegetarian imaginative. Atmosphere and cleanliness fab. Lovely table for two at the window. Clean white linen. Early meal a little too quick but worked on this occasion. Would return.
Very nice high-end and comfortable build-out in a popular area. Service was good, but not great, as we sat with empty glasses or in need of something and had to wave-over servers. Food was very creative preparations with fresh ingredients. Not for folks who want a "meat and potatoes " meal.
