Eamonn O"Reilly chef patron opened One Pico in 1997. From the outset, it was his intention to serve the very best food in relaxed, informal but luxurious surroundings.
In One Pico it's not particularly about gadgets and tricks it's about the best in modern classical cooking with flavour and seasonality been paramount.

Always a pleasure to eat here. Consistently good food, setting and staff. Thoroughly enjoyable, particularly this year because of covid and less opportunities to be out and about. Staff seemed happy to be greeting customers again. Full precautions taken.
Excellent night - so sad that it is now closed for 3 weeks. I look forward to going back
Delicious and relaxing lunch. Service was great - friendly and professional. Food was beautifully presented.
I didn't think that I got great value for money here. The markup on wine is excessive. I ate at the Pearl brasserie a few weeks ago and the difference in price between the two was notable for exactly the same wine.
I don't like it when waiting staff refill your glass too frequently, presumably in an effort to encourage you to drink more. It's intrusive and irritating.
White wine glasses were too wide and filled too high, allowing the wine temperature to rise too quickly.
The food itself was good but the serving sizes was too small. Three two euro coin sized pieces of pasta isn't a starter, it's an amuse bouche at best.
The dinner, wine and service was superb. Very sad that it was so quiet due to Covid-19 and people not eating out as usual.
Had not been to One Pico in years and it certainly did not disappoint. Team were courteous and discrete. Food was delicious and interesting. The covid measures have been implemented very smartly and barely noticeable. Absolutely recommend.
Overall an excellent lunch cooked with great skill. Bit lacking in atmosphere but that is hardly their fault in the current situation.
In a COVID world, it's great to see this restaurant maintain excellence throughout. Fantastic service and wonderfully presented food. Apart from the face visors worn by staff, which I think we are all getting used to (and reassuring), there was no real difference in overall top class experience.
Impeccable service. Friendly & professional staff. And amazing dinner.
As always an excellent experience. Will wait patiently for its reopening.
Our favorite place in Dublin by far. Amazing food, refreshing and updated menu than changes and never keeps us bored. Most professional and kind staff we came across, always willing to accommodate our requests and needs.
Such a lovely restaurant, staff so attentive and food was really good, but this is the second year in a row that we have booked this restaurant for a catch up with another couple at Christmas and the dining room is hosting a companies staff party, the noise was over baring at times. I appreciate everyone is out to have a good time, it is Christmas after all, but as a group of 4 I felt we where roaring all night so we could hear each other. Large groups should be in a separate room, or at least let people know there is a large group dining with you. Apart from that I cannot fault this place. Everything was fabulous
Absolutely one of the best meals we have ever had. Period.
Beautiful meal and a first to eat steak without a steak knife.. delicious!
A gastro triumph ... the steak was so tender, you didn't even need a knife and the ambiance is brilliant, top class.
We had a wonderful dinner at One Pico... The food was excellent and even better than our last visit. The room is very pleasant, both warm and modern. Service was very good. This is definitely one of the top 5/10 best table in Dublin in my view.
Superb meal as always, but better since our last visit.
Andrew, Arnold and the rest of the front of house team run a very smooth operation, whilst Ciaran and the kitchen staff offer superb seasonal food. It has been almost two years since we last attended, and the food has improved in our opinion.
It was one of those 'why has it been so long since we were here' nights, and will definitely be back before Xmas.
Truely enjoyable evening all around.
Perfect for business meeting. Food and service excellent.
The lemon soufflé was a Proustian experience taking me back to my grandmother’s lemon desserts. Light, fluffy, hot, and delicious. All I can think about is how to get back to experience it again.
One Pico delivered a superb dining experience. Excellent value. Looking forward to returning soon.
We would frequently eat here and love the food, ambiance and service. However, I would have to mention we were disgusted when we got the bill and found that a coffee is €6.50. Absolute rip off
A very nice restaurant we cpould absolutely recommend
Excellent food and excellent service as always.
Good but not outstanding
Very good, food and service excellent
A nice restaurant
Staff are so efficient and friendly, food is just perfect, portion sizes are more than adequate and the wine list is excellent, most important, the all round quality of food, service and staff is consistent and always to a high standard, thanks for a great night out guys
Lovely treat lunch with faultless service. Portions a bit small though for what we paid but the food was presented beautifully and was delicious! Great for a special occasion. But maybe have a snack before you go..
As usual, discrete but friendly service and superb food, beautifully presented.
Super food, lovely, relaxed service and great value for money - we especially loved the Beef Cheek, and the cheeseboard. It's always great to be introduced to a new cheese; in this case the French Tomme Croquant, with a rind washed in walnut liquor, evident in every morsel. The well-priced Godillo Spanish white wine was exceptional.
It was unfortunate. When you are seated for nearly 30 minutes before someone comes to your table to take an order that sets the tone. When our server came by he asked if we were ready to order when we hadn’t even had a chance to order cocktails.
While the pace after was a bit slow it was tolerable, however you can’t get over the sense that you are being ignored. The staff was very nice, but probably came by our table 4 maybe 5 times in total over a 2 ½ hour dinner.
Finally, as vegetarians, normally when a chef modifies a dish to accommodate you, they will change it to keep it interesting. In this case they only removed what we believe were substantial elements to the dish and made no attempt to shift or modify anything.
In total, the food was OK, certainly not exceptional and service left a lot to be desired.
I booked One Pico to celebrate my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and the service outstanding. We will be back
Food was fabulous but service was a little disjointed. Had to go looking for staff on several occasions for service
Top shelf all the way
Excellent as always, one of my all time favourite restaurants.
Food was very good & tasty
Service should have been more attentive - had to look around at times for assistance
Interesting that you ask about noise - restaurant was on 25-30% full BUT I had the endure the conversation of two men behind me ..... tables could be separated a little bit more.
We went there for a celebration dinner and it was absolutely amazing! What a way to celebrate! Excellent food, wine and service was exceptional! I will definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for fantastic food and beautiful atmosphere!
Truly what a way to celebrate!
We were enchanted by One Pico! The food is innovative, beautifully composed, and flawless. The staff are superbly trained: professional, attentive, but not intrusive. We had an early seating (jet lag) but we never felt hurried during the meal. I have booked fine restaurants through Open Table in Boston, Chicago, and New Orleans in the past year, but One Pico will stand out as the best overall dining experience of the past 12 months.
No atmosphere. A little stuffy which is quite unusual these days. Overpriced....€5.50 outrageous for a coffee. Food was very good.
My first visit to one pico. Wonderful staff, friendly and not stuffy. Excellent food. Lobster ravioli to die for. Great wine list. Dawson car park opposite makes it very convenient. Will definitely go back.
