A wonderful evening. The menu is not a la carte. An extensive Tasting Menu or a 3 course. Lots of wonderful choices. Service was impeccable. The food was delicious.

I had googled most romantic restaurants in nyc and this one popped up. Since my husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary we decided to give this place a shot. So thankful we did. Truly one of the most romantic places we’ve ever dined at. I would definitely recommend it. The ambiance was just what we were looking for and the service alone was incredible.

Beautiful restaurant, great staff, professional and in sync. The ambiance was truly remarkable especially with the live pianist throughout the evening. The food was really bad with the exception of the dessert. The appetizers and the entrees were served with the lowest standards of any fine dining I’ve ever had a chance to eat. I tried my dates food to see if maybe I just got unlucky with what I ordered but unfortunately the same went for them. Maybe the executive chef was out this evening, but I sure hope whatever it was that it changes for the next guests.

Ask for a table by the courtyard garden. I enjoy the Beef Wellington. At the end of dinner, sit by the bar and enjoy the live music from the piano player.

This was quite disappointing… the staff was nice, but the food was an absolute let down… For the price we paid, there are way better options. Shame, the ambiance its fantastic, but even then, we will no go back nor recommend.

Take your wallet with you. The prices are not for the faint of heart. But, going here is an experience for couples that want to enjoy fine dining in a beautiful environment with impeccable service. Everything was perfect. Pretty typical pricing for a good restaurant in NYC.

As always, I absolutely wonderful experience. The beef Wellington was perfect, and probably one of the best old fashions I have ever had. If you like bourbon old fashions, definitely give it a try!

One of the best restaurant experiences my girlfriend and I have had in years. Everything was just perfect. Try and get a table by the window downstairs in the back. Highly recommend the chef tasting.

Lovely atmosphere. Oysters were pathetic and should have been an embarrassment to serve. Tiny nuggets less than 3 bites. Zucchini was bland and tasteless. Beef Wellington was overcooked. Had to wait and wait on replacement steak which was a poor quality steak. Cod was bland. We ordered a bottle of wine and were told they did not have it but he recommended its replacement. $45 more. At end of night we were told they would only charge us for price of one we wanted. However, they only took $25 off.

Well, after all the hype from friends I would say it was mediocre and not worth the $490 we paid with tip. Lovely setting, excellent servers. The beef Wellington was over cooked for medium rare and dry. The zucchini appetizer was fine, certainly different. Wine list was extensive, yet unaffordable for most. Dessert of raspberry Pavlova was delicious.

Very romantic ambience. Servers were quite attentive and very very accommodating. Got a free dessert and candle since I also mentioned it was my girlfriend's birthday in the reservation. Quite a nice thing of them to do and much appreciated!

We have been going to One if by Land for years but you forget how beautiful the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our waiter and sommelier were great and the food remains excellent. We were there to celebrate our 29th anniversary and the whole team made the evening very special.

Excellent top flight service, awesome ambiance, and the Heitz wine at $175 was not egregiously priced (a pleasant surprise). We got the 7 course tasting dinner, four of which were top notch. The zucchini dish was merely ok, the fois gras was literally a ridiculously tiny half bite insult that was delicious, and their signature beef Wellington was served disastrously well done (even after a conversation with the waiter about the only way of serving it is medium rare). Didn’t send it back but certainly should have…if we’d gotten the full course instead of tasting menu portion it certainly would have had to go back. Only recommended with the following caveats: make it exceedingly clear to serve up more than a half bite of fois gras and NOT to screw up the beef!!!

Celebrated my gf’s birthday here and we sat in the back corner booth which was an amazing seat and allowed us to sit close to each other. We each had the chef’s tasting menu which was fantastic. The Wellington and Soufflé by far were the best piece of the 7 course menu. The wait in between courses is long so expect to be at the restaurant for a minimum of 3 hours, but the service was fantastic and our waiter was attentive. Overall, a great experience.
