Beautiful restaurant. Amazing food and service. Pricey but worth every penny!
Romantic and chic😍
An amazing dining experience! I Recommend the tasting menu. It’s worth it!
The experience was magical. Had a great time with my girlfriend. The chef’s tasting menu was truly worth it!
Lovely meal, amazing atmosphere
Very pricey. Limited menu. Food was very good however
After no indoor dining in NYC for several weeks, we had a date night at One if by Land, Two if by Sea. The food and cocktails were outstanding,. The hostess and the rest of the staff were fantastic. I couldn’t recommend the restaurant more highly.
Fantastic experience as always at One If By Land. The roses on the table, the candles, the grand piano paired with delicious food? The perfect date night.
We celebrated our one year anniversary here and it was delightful.
Awesome romantic atmosphere
Great food but expensive. It was difficult to appreciate the restaurant decor because it was too dark. Great customer service.
This place is perfect for a quiet dinner at an intimate setting. Really love the food here and the service is always on point. Would definitely recommend the beef wellington and lamb shank if available. Desserts could be better :).
Beautiful restaurant for a romantic experience. Food is a little overpriced but you’re paying more for the ambiance than anything.
We asked for the left meals to go.
And never received our desserts.
Was waiting for each meal for at least 25 min.
Nothing special on food neither.
Excellent overall experience I highly recommend this place for a very romantic meal
Food was really mediocre, and service was lacking. Restaurant didn't abide by COVID social distancing for indoor dining either (virtually every table was packed on Valentine's Day).
A beautiful Valentine’s Day dinner. Food service and ambiance was 5 stars
The service was top tier!
Lovely setting, live piano music, fresh roses and candlesticks on every table, excellent food. Expensive but a wonderful choice for a nice, quiet dinner. Affable owner greets you at the door and later at your table.
The restaurant managed to impress us at the entrance with its romantic, amazing interior design. The flavor of the food was also great. It has now become one of our favorite places.
food was excellent. Wonderful setting. Highly recommend
It was perfect! Lovely meal, excellent service. Romantic. ReAlly glad it’s open again !!!! A true gem.
Great service and the vibe, perfect for an amazing date.
Awful, they were closed even though they are accepting reservations and confirming. Ruined our anniversary and will never try to go here again
We got there and the restaurant was not even open. Several others were in the same boat.
It is our wedding dinner and can’t express how much we love it. Best experience I’ve ever had in a while. The tasting menu with wine pairing is truly phenomenal.
I proposed at this restaurant after doing some Google searches, and it did not disappoint at all. My fiancee loved the ambiance, we were nestled in a private corner - per my request to propose, but we still saw the amazing Christmas tree, lovely chandeliers, and lights in the garden.
The food was amazing, the steak was fantastic - I only wish I could have paid more to try the Beef Wellington as I have heard good things. The desserts were some of the best I have ever had namely the cheesecake and mousse.
Finally, I was able to sneak away, give the ring over and they bought it out on a bed of rose petals. It looked incredible, romantic, and was a total surprise to her. She said yes, and the whole night was magic. I intend to go again when I can afford to and try more delicious food.
My only negative is that there were only 3 delicious fingerling potatoes with my entree. They were perfect, crunchy, light and a pinch of salt. Just wish they threw in a few more. Lol
Birthday dinner...amazing experience we will return
Perfect setting for a romantic dinner. Tried the tasting menu with the wine tasting. Service was impeccable. Will definitely go back and try the prix fixe.
Always great food and fantastic service. Love this place especially around Christmas with the big decorated tree in the main room.
Incredible experience! Great for a special occasion. Worth the hype!
Most romantic restaurant in NYC superb service and delicious food, doesn’t get much better than than that :)
We had the chefs tasting menu. Half the items were good and the other had weren’t. Disappointing for such an expensive meal.
Food and service and ambiance all spectacular - 10/10 recommend what a nice experience
Had the most romantic experience! Candlelit dinner with the Piano being played beautifully in the background.. what more could you ask for! I highly recommend dining here during holiday season, the interior is decorated so beautifully. The food was outstanding. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back!
Mediocre experience starting with no sign for entrance at the door. We had a party for two tonight and we are very exited for this place ( seeing pictures on internet)
Foie grois terrine .... was just a piece of duck liver cook on the flat tap without any salt, the bread was from 2 days ago ( very cheap bread ) the salad was just a open bag mix salad bought from the deli on the corner.
Sea scallops .... polenta with any flavor, the corn ..... ufff... was dried (old)
Lamb shank ... bunch of couscous ( probably cook at the microwave, the sauce very sweet ( I don't know why ) and the vegetables ( half carrot, half zucchini and one Brussels sprouts just boiled in water ....
Branzino dried with some sweet spaghetti squash ( In Jackson Heights you can find better dish make at the corner.
Guys I spent 280$ and I had a same food from Peconic Hospital from Riverhead , what A SHAME .
We have been to One if by Land several times and it never disappoints. The food was just as amazing and the service as lovely as always, even during Covid restrictions. Highly recommend.
Amazing food and ambiance, just super pricey.
Food was subpar and looked like the food I would cook at home. Ambiance is cute but absolutely not worth the trip.
The food was excellent, as usual, and the service was impeccable. The only thing missing was the piano player, but that was understandable.
