My husband and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary at One Forty. Food was delicious and the service was service. The restaurant looks over the swimming pool and past the pool is the beautiful Hulopo'e Bay. I highly recommend One Forty...
This place is absolutely delicious and obviously expensive being at the Four Seasons. We had a monchong fish dish and a waygu skirt steak - both were amazing - steak literally melted in our mouth. Be prepared to bust out the credit card but absolutely worth it in my mind.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Delicious food, impeccable service, and breathtaking views. What more could you want in a restaurant? The Gruyere Au Gratin was particularly delightful!
Although the ambiance was gorgeous, the bread and appetizer delicious, I had some difficulty with my entrée. My fiancé's NY steak was cooked to perfection and it was absolutely delicious. I had ordered the venison and asked for it to be cooked medium-rare. It came back almost raw internally so I asked for the chef to cook it to medium thinking he would cook it through a little more. Unfortunately, the chef seared the outside and the inside was still nearly raw. After a second request, they still did not get it right and I gave up. Paid $65 for a meal that could have been wonderful if only they listened to my requests. If paying that much, one expects the meat to be cooked to your liking. The rest was beautiful just expect for them to cook the meat how they would like and not necessarily how you as the paying customer would prefer it.
Wonderful food and service. Fantastic views. Staff is sweet & and amazing.
Can’t wait to come back!
It was wonderful just part of the magic of being in the beautiful resort !
The food was mouth watering! And our waiter Alex... sorry it had more letters than just Alex but he was awesome!
140 is an elegant restaurant with great service at terrific wine list and a wonderful menu in a setting that is unparalleled to none overlooking the Pacific Ocean the pool at Mandalay Bay and the beautiful shrubbery and down towards the beach I would recommend this restaurant to anyone as a very very special place for special occasions for every day dining just for a wonderful experience
Loved our Brunch! Excellent food and Service! Ambiance was beautiful and relaxing. The Malted Waffles are the best I’ve ever had! We will be back!
Flies are a concern as we were eating outside and fending off a lot of them.
The food was outstanding. We had the skirt steak and the sauce was delicious - my kids loved it too. The Poke appetizer was creative and delicious too. We ordered the vegetarian pasta and decided to get a side of the grilled shrimp to add to it. Awesome! Then we tried the chocolate soufflé for dessert and it was a winner too! The service was good and the setting is unbeatable.
Went there 2 nights. Had the oysters and the Waipoli Butter Lettuce Salad both nights - excellent! Seared ahi - very good. Seared snapper with side of garlic shrimp - both over cooked and dry.
2nd night had the mushroom soup - great; lobster (farm raised) was pretty good; and the bone in ribeye with more fresh mushrooms - very good.
1st night they ran out of the only good Pinot Noir out of 3 that they had. Other wine selections a bit limited.
A solid restaurant overall and great outdoor seating.
One Forty was quite possibly the best restaurant that i have been to. The food was soooo
good, the service amazing (you felt like family), and they had a lovely special dessert to
celebrate my daughter's graduation. We had the best time and will crave and remember
our dinners for ever. Did i mention the wine?? Oh my!
Lovely. Chef Nick is fabulous. Try the one forty degrees digestive!!!!
Amazing. Positively the best restaurant at the Four Seasons Lanai. And that's saying something, given that Nobu is 100 feet away. We ate at Nobu twice and ONE FORTY twice. ONE FORTY *BLEW* Nobu out of the water. Young, ambitious chef vs. corporate chef resting on his laurels. Don't miss ONE FORTY (you have time.... you can skip Nobu, TRUST ME).
***and I should say that my husband and I LOVE sushi and don't routinely eat steak, so this is a truly ringing endorsement.
It’s just gorgeous setting overlooking the pool and the ocean at the hotel the service is wonderful the setting is just spectacular and the food and the menu is just the best
The setting could not be better. Our view of the ocean, beach and red lava cliff formations at sunset were indescribably beautiful. The food was excellent and the extensive wine list was impressive. We are not into raw or Japanese cuisine. Forty-one met our need for meat. You must try the local venison. It is awesome!
Located in the remodell Four Seasons Lanai, this gem of a restaurant sports incredible food, service and ambiance. The service was fast, the wine cost 2-2.5x retail the selection wonderful. No negatives!
Great atomosphere and personalized service.
This is well recommended restaurant!
Maybe we just came on a bad night. We had a reservation. We were seated in a reasonable time frame. They just forgot things like assigning us a server and giving us menu's. So we waited probably 15 minutes to order water and a cocktail from the manger. Then found our own menu's. Then tracked down someone to get us an appetizer. Then asked the manager to take our dinner order. The food was good but the service was laughable.
Great setting. Good food friendly service. Good wine selection
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at One Forty and it was perfect! It was relaxing and we enjoyed the beautiful view overlooking Manele Bay. The appetizer, entrees and dessert was outstanding! Thank you chef for presenting us the most tastiest dishes - it was different and 'onolicious'! Mahalo to our waitress, Juliet, for taking care of us!
The perfect spot for dinner with friends! Great food, we shared several things and the view cannot be beat.
Our dinner experience was awesome. We had really great service. Although the food was a little pricey it was worth it as the food portion size, taste and quality is all there.
Exceptional service from staff. Food always prepared to our liking. Great wine selection & amazing view.
Dined @ 140 four out of five nights at the resort. Well trained service staff dedicated to providing the Four Seasons experience expected. One suggestion: Get rid of the annoying techno music at dinner.
The mushroom soup was outstanding, the rest, for the price, was ok. For the price I expected fantastic food. Service was very slow
Ooh la la. Fantastic view of the ocean. You can also see the public beach next door and the rock formations. Parfait delicious
Bernaise says was ordered for the Filet. They brought Burnas red sause. Didn't fix it. Just removed the red sause. The baked potato was dry and way over cooked. Server had no idea how to fix the errors.
It was the best meal we've had all year! We had an amazing table, with an incredible view.... although it seems every table has an incredible view and there isn't a bad table in there.
The onaga dish was delicious and my favorite! Our only regret is that we didn't have room to try more of the dishes. Everything on the menu looked so appealing!
We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and everyone went out of their way to make it a special night for her. We appreciate the whole team at 140 for this, including every person behind the scenes and in the kitchen.
We couldn't be more satisfied with dining experience! This is our favorite restaurant!
Excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner: quality fresh food, accommodated our requests, an educated staff, and lovely atmosphere.
Located in the Four Seasons Lanai Resort, ONE FORTY is on the expensive side. The food, however, is excellent and definitely worth going for a special occasion. Fine cocktails and extensive wine list add to attraction. Friendly service was attentive without being hovering.
My wife and I celebrated a very enjoyable anniversary evening.
Lovely location. Good service. Lobster was way over cooked. Burrata salad super ono. Beef cheeks with risotto delicious. Service terrific
The service was painfully slow and the menu doesn't accurately describe food or ingredients. In short it was a poor value and didn't live up to the four seasons reputation
One of the best places on the island- breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
We ate at One Forty several times for both breakfast and dinner during our stay at the Four Seasons Lanai. The view is amazing and the service was terrific. We enjoyed every meal very much. The lobster was the best I've ever had! We had the breakfast package with our room. The buffet is nice, but more limited than we expected for $52 each. The prices overall are very high- $95 for the ribeye! But the view and ambience can't be beat!
Amazing food their lobster with braised corn and steak were outstanding, beyond amazing service and beautiful romantic backdrop of the pacific sunset
Great food, good view, staff is helpful. Osyter were fresh,
One Forty is located at the Four Season's Lanai, HI. The location overlooking Manele Bay is breathtaking. Service is impeccable. Reports from my table of eight were all positive. Entrées varied from fish to steak. My wife ordered a filet and I ordered Wagyu style NY steak. The steaks arrived hot, medium rare as requested. The NY steak was beyond 'prime', perfect flavor, texture and worthy of the cost. My good fortune included the availability of Robert Biale Zinfandel, Black Chicken Ranch. Wine presented and served in a great glass during the meal added to the experience. We were asked early in the meal if we were interested in placing an order for chocolate soufflé a perfect ending including coffee freshly brewed, black and fragrant.
If you have an opportunity to dine here and perhaps stay here at the Four Seasons the experience will be memorable.
I have eaten at a lot of famous steakhouses in my life, but I've never had a better steak than the bone-in ribeye here. Just as good as Peter Luger and better than any other I've ever had. Also a really excellent chocolate soufflé.
