One Fish Two Fish
The tuna was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly. Scallop appetizer was insanely good!
Rib eye was awful especially for $33 my wife just an appetizer
Very impressed. Would definitely recommend to everyone
Can’t wait to go back
Went there for a birthday dinner for the first time with my fiance. I enjoyed everything view was beautiful and the food was great.
I would go again. 😊
Everything was great from the waitress to the food . Will be going back soon
Great place with spectacular views all around, the food was good they have a good selection and the waiter was very prompt and knowledgeable.
Lovely waterfront views, delicious food and attentive wait staff!
There are a few restaurants in Virginia Beach that are five star but what makes this one special is the last item listed on the Ratings -- noise level. We could actually talk to each other, and the tables are far enough apart that other diners cannot listen to us and we, thankfully, cannot hear them. Almost like a private dining room!
Nice restaurant. Food was good, but not spectacular. The location is very good with boats all around. We’d go again..
Great food and experience!
Great waitress. Food was amazing. Loved sitting outside by the water.
Excellent food, service and ambiance (how could you go wrong with a perfect day on the water?). We’ll be back.
Everything was awesome!
The food was amazing!
As a visitor from the Midwest I was looking for excellent seafood. One Fish, Two Fish was the perfect choice. We arrived before the “crowd”. I ordered Blue Crab & Shrimp dish with fettuccine. Add great friends and wonderful water view. Fantastic evening!
Slow service, they seemed understaffed. Loud dining area. Overall food quality was very good.
Enjoyed a delicious dinner of fried shrimp, cheese grits, and green beans. Our waiter was attentive and the noise level was low so conversation was extremely pleasant.
We really enjoyed this place! Food was incredible and the service was great as well! We loved our waitress and the view was beautiful as well. I suggest the Ahi!
The food was amazing!! My Wife and I celebrated our 2yr Wedding Anniversary today and were looking for a nice seafood restaurant to enjoy while visiting the area. Awesome place!! The atmosphere was great while overlooking the bay. A little noisy but we were still able to enjoy our evening.
We made a reservation, and ended up waiting for 30 minutes for a table. It is a beautiful spot however, for a fish restaurant, I was surprised that there we not many fish choices on the menu. We were not told about the special by our waiter, we only found out after he mentioned it to the table next to us. I was a bit disappointed but the food we had was delicious.
The food/wine selection and ambiance was perfect for our wedding anniversary, thanks to the server for making it that much more special. The atmosphere was so romantic sitting outside on the pier, it’s now our favorite special place to dine and celebrate. I highly recommend One Fish, Two Fish.
This was my first visit, and it was fantastic! The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. It all made for a romantic anniversary dinner.
Service and venue was great. Food was over priced and basically tasteless. Won't go back.
This was an anniversary dinner for my son and his wife and this is their favorite restaurant in Virginia Beach. I own a fine dining restaurant in Gig Harbor Washington. Overall my experience was good. I was very disappointed that they did not split the salads for my wife and I nor my son and daughter nor did they split the entrées. We never were offered fresh ground pepper for our salads or entrées and salt and pepper was on the table which is a no-no. I give the food four stars out of five and the overall experience three stars out of five.
One Fish Two Fish is a must go every time we visit Virginia Beach. I would highly recommend the tuna with crab appetizer.
This was the seventh time my husband and I have eaten at One Fish Two Fish, and every time has been perfect - great atmosphere, fantastic food and service! We live in North Carolina, but we hope to return many more times for a great experience.
As a local in Virginia Beach, One Fish Two Fish has always been fun a place to watch the boats and take in the scenery. I was happy to see their menu got a bit of an update. We started with the fried oysters app and the romaine and arugla salad. Both were very good. I got the special of the evening, pan seared halibut with beets and artichoke crisps. My fish was delicious, a good cut of halibut and cooked perfectly, but everything else was less than I was hoping for. The beets didn't have much flavor, and the artichoke crisps were burnt, they were completely black and tasted exactly like I described, burnt. I love "crispy" foods, like bacon, toast, bagels, etc, but I couldn't even eat the artichokes. Please keep in mind that my husband and I are not picky eaters, we are always looking for something new to try and there isn't much that we don't enjoy to eat. My husband decided to try the fried fish of the day, which was also halibut. It came with slaw, mashed potatoes, & jalapeno-garlic butter. The side dishes that came with the fish were very good, but the halibut breading/batter had no flavor. It didn't seem as if even the simplest seasonings, like salt and pepper, were added to the batter. Could have used some garlic, old bay, or even some cayenne pepper to give it more flavor. As for the service, we had a 7 pm reservation, and waited a bit to be taken to our table. Our waiter was nice and polite, but he seemed to want to rush us, as the restaurant was rather busy. Everything we ordered seemed to come out all at once, just a few minutes after we finished our appetizers, our main course was brought to the table.
Like I stated, the restaurant is a great place to look out on the water, watch boats, view beautiful houses, and even watch some fish jump around in the water. Since it is tourist season and in the midst of summer, perhaps the staff were overwhelmed..? Would like to try again, but maybe in the fall or winter when the summer crowd calms down.
Can’t say enough about the food... creative, great quality, delicious. The service was professional and attentive. The view is great . Sunsets are primo.
The food was pretty good, and the venue was beautiful, but overall the food was not worth the money I spent for the dinner. The service was fantastic, but I have had better seafood for cheaper at other restaurants.
My wife’s company has had several holiday receptions at 1 Fish 2 Fish. We’ve always promised ourselves to return in the summer to give it a try only to realize while at another holiday party we forgot to keep our promise once again. Not this year. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything exceeded our expectations. From the service, the food, the view, and the ambiance you couldn’t ask for a better dining experience. We’re hooked and look forward to returning. And we promise it will be another summer visit.
My pan seared halibut- the special of th night- was delicious. Brandon our server was gracious, knowledgeable and very nice. Would definitely go back
I used to come here for special date nights but had moved out of the area for a year. Now that I am back I decided to return. The service was quite good, but this time the food was not what it used to be. I never had an issue before, so I think perhaps this was an off night. There were 3 of us this evening and all 3 of us had our food overcooked and like it had been under a heat lamp for a long period. We told our server and she handled the situation. I will be back, but it makes me hesitate.
Excellent resturant on Lynnhaven/broad Bay waterway. Interesting views of waterfront homes and all variety’s of boats. Nice casual atmosphere. Centrally located Kitchen made for outstanding aromas in the resturant. Nice courteous staff.
Food was phenomenal and service was on point. Not a bad view seat in the restaurant. If we’re ever in the area again we will definitely be back.
Wonderful food, service and view. It's our "go-to" place for seafood. You're not going to find an overly large or exorbitant menu here but, what you will find is a carefully crafted selections that compliment local seafood. Desert was delicious! The new rose beer from bold rock on tap, was a nice compliment to our meal. As always our waiter was on point knowledgeable & friendly.
Amazing... our waitress Kelly... rocks!!!
It was awesome!!!
Excellent choice for a birthday dinner with a larger group. Arrived by boat with plenty of moring spots and tiedowns very close and in visual range of table. Outstanding service by "Bucky" and table was marked for the occasion we were celebrating. Appetizers, main course and deserts all top notch. Drinks were made well although I was hoping asking for "tall" would have resulted in a little larger glasses.
All in all a perfect evening at a great place.
