About One Fish Two Fish
Located minutes from Chesapeake Bay on the water is One Fish-Two Fish. We offer an alternative to formal dining, it's what we call "fun dining." The atmosphere is "upscale without the uppity." This unique feeling is created by a casual waterfront environment with boat access. The restaurant is centered around the Exhibition Kitchen with panoramic views of the Bay. The menu incorporates a blend of California style with fresh, local seafood. The wine list focuses on "boutique style" wines and is consistently recognized with the Wine Spectator "Award of Excellence." The owners and staff strive to make this venue high energy but still elegant. The only thing we overlook is the water. See you there.

One Fish Two Fish Ratings and Reviews
We had a great time. Elisabeth was our waitress, she was attentive and oersonable with a proper respect to boundaries. I accidentally left me phone behind and she came racing after me to return it.
The food was delicious the tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes was full of flavor and the shrimp and grits were very tasty.
Thank you for a nice evening.
This was our first visit to One Fish Two Fish but it will not be our last. The occasion was our 50th Anniversary and the meal and service could not have been better. Mike was our Server and he made the evening great with his personality and attention to ensuring everything was to our satisfaction.
Honestly you can't go wrong with what you decide to eat. I had the sesame crusted tuna as my main and it was down right delicious! Service was great, I had Michael and his recommendations were on point. I was by myself and at no point did I ever feel rushed to eat and get out. Hands down will definitely eat there again and I'm recommending this restaurant to all my friends.
We drive from Williamsburg several times/year and almost always bring people with us who have never been to One Fish, Two Fish before -- some from out of town and some from the Tidewater area. We've always been delighted with our experience. One Fish, Two Fish was a particular favorite of our late son, a lieutenant commander in the Navy who died five years ago. He loved good food, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful service!
The dinner was absolutely phenomenal. The table was perfect, the view was awesome, the server Larry C could not have been more attentive nor more pleasant. The food looked like a piece of art and the flavor was more than I expected. Love, loved the whole experience.
The best word I can say is consistently good! I always go with the special. It’s a way to try something new and I have never been disappointed.
Great for kids too. Kinda menu is good. Drinks are done well. Really enjoyed.
For my wife’s birthday they put a nice Happy Birthday tent card. Very classy.
Everything was perfect for our 38th anniversary dinner! We've been there quite a few times and have never been disappointed. We used to live in Virginia Beach, and we now drive from Hertford, North Carolina for a fantastic dinner. I cannot think of even one negative comment to leave for our visit!
This was a very slow night there, so we were expecting the good service we've experienced so many times before. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Our food was brought after those who had ordered after us, and not in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our spinach & goat cheese salad, Crab soup, and Crispy Trout entree. It was a birthday celebration, and no complimentary dessert was offered.....only complimentary candles which out waiter forgot to put on it. This was very disappointing for such a fine restaurant! We ordered their brownie w/ ice cream, chocolate sauce and Heath Bar toppping. We found the brownie to be very dry and didn't even finish the dessert we shared.
I have been to One Fish Two Fish several times and always have a great experience. My husband and I just recently celebrated our anniversary there and the service was excellent. It's a great place for special occasions, family dinners, and for entertaining business clients from out of town - especially for some local flavor. The seared sesame tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes and cucumber salad is our absolute favorite. For those with boats, you can anchor to the dock. I highly suggest booking a reservation for Saturdays well in advance, especially during the warmer months.
Best place I have ever eaten hands down, complete with a great view of the water, a huge patio, and an amazing atmosphere. I was very impressed with the food and service. The stuffed mushrooms were incredible, the grilled salmon was fantastic, and the pumpkin mousse was phenomenal! Highly recommend.
The onion rings and calamari were amazing . The 10oz ribeye was over cooked per my request but not enough that it was a big problem the flavor was very good but the cut of meat was less then I expected quality wise the presentation was good and the mash potatoes were exceptional over all a very good dining experience and quiet attractive surroundings
One Fish Two Fish never disappoints, even after an extended absence. While fin- and shellfish are prominent on the menu, there are plenty of possibilities for one who's had a few too many seafood offerings of late. Our party had dishes from the sea and from land, all expertly prepared. Service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is open and friendly without being stuffy; the kitchen-in-the-round helps diners feel a part of the food prep process. Highly recommended.
A restaurant that has lost some of its sparkle. While the awesome views remain...that simply is not enough these days. Service was lackluster at best. Table requested two weeks prior to reservation was not afforded to us. Management was simply not on top of things. Also, ha sto return to host desk to reconfirm our reservation after checking in as we were marked no shows and emailed accordingly. Another issue. Food served was not hot, rather warm like it had been sitting for awhile before being brought to table.
