Appetizer of smoked salmon (or trout) was outstanding. Dinner entrees were solid with good ingredients. Nice variety of craft beers. Atmosphere, staff and background music was great! The owner, Jack, knows how to create an inviting establishment!

I was hoping to be impressed based on the reviews, but it was just "ok". Burger was fine, but unexceptionable. Probably won't be back.

111 Main consistently has delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere. We are always pleasantly surprised and delighted with the evening chef specials. It is truly the gem of Galena.

I want to love this place since I am a fan of the concept but I can’t. Food quality is just too inconsistent— either mediocre or just plain poor. They used to have a reasonably good wine list by the glass— and now it’s been brought down a level and the selections are more budget wines versus good quality offerings.

My husband and I had dinner here on a Saturday evening. I would definitely recommend for attentive service and menu options, although I thought some entrees were slightly pricey, but this wouldn't prevent us from going back. Food was fresh and well prepared. And our server was awesome!

Nice quiet dining upstairs. We enjoyed a very good meal for our anniversary. Good menu for my somewhat picky husband. Nothing to trendy, just good quality food with enough flair to make it interesting.

One Eleven Main was a great experience. The minute we walked in Laurie, the Manager, greeted us with a big hi and smile! William was our server and he was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable about the restaurant history, ingredients of the food, wine selections, and overall a good sense of what I would like based on our conversation. Service was extremely attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a go-to place and would highly recommend! Ask for William!

We really enjoyed our dinner. Signature dinners so tasty. Pot roast with fresh vegetables so tender. Steak and grilled shrimp with white cheddar whipped potatoes outstanding. Very friendly service. Beer not on tap but nice craft selection.

Overall, the food was good. I ordered the chicken special that evening and the chicken was overdone, but edible. This was an unusual occurence as we eat here frequently. Service was excellent.

YUCK! Disgusting. Hardly any food for the price. Your dinner doesn't even come with a salad. Fries are horrible. Burgers are just ok, but dry. (Medium well). Did not finish dinner. Don't come here if you want a steak either.

Had salad, poutine, and homemade ravioli and it was all delicious. Nice fresh salad with lots of different greens and tomatoes, basalmic vinegrette was delicious. Ravioli was so tender, filling delicious, and cream sauce amazing. Poutine was the best I have ever had.

We visit Galena a couple of times a year. We have started to make 111 a mandatory stop. The food is fresh, excellent, fairly priced. The service is fantastic. Our waiter was an expert on the wine list and made sure we made great choice. We have the same waiter every time we stop in. We had Walleye and salmon. Light, cooked beautifully.

I used to love this restaurant but it seems like the quality and preparation of the food has really declined. My salad had brown lettuce and was drowning in dressing. My salmon had a bad fishy smell. My boyfriend's steak was tough and overcooked. Seasonal vegetables were a few slices of a radish and two small pieces of asparagus. When we used to come a few years ago, this place was always crowded and you needed a reservation. We were one of two tables at 7pm on a Saturday night during busy season. Apparently others feel the same way we did after this past visit. Unfortunately we will not be back again.

Everyone in our group happy with their food. The cheese curds were the biggest hit. One of our group went just for the mojitos. Wine and beer selection also very good. There was a lot of variety among the entree choices and there were simpler choices like burgers for the less adventurous in our group. Liked that they sourced locally. Desserts were the least favorite part of the meal.

My wife and I ate here about 10 years ago when traveling through town. We had such a fantastic meal, we made a special trip to visit this restaurant. I can't put my finger on it exactly but the meal was just OK food. Nice place, cool ambience but the food was not worth the driver over from Dubuque.

Just all round really good restaurant. Only dropped one star because the brie and calvados was mafe with unripe, and thus flavorless, brie.

This is the third time we've eaten here - we try to come back yearly for our anniversary. We love the food, which is always delicious. Their cheese curds are amazing - lightly battered and very flavorful. Cocktails are also excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. We have never been disappointed.

Nice place to dine but I ordered the Beef Stroganoff (sp) and did not care for it at all. It had overcooked noodles and peppered gravy, no mushrooms and barely any beef. Not worth what I spent but place seemed very clean and people were very welcoming. Left hungry and somewhat disappointment.

The atmosphere at One Eleven is cozy and inviting. The current website (April 2017) does not do the place justice. The wait staff was extremely friendly and outgoing. Our group had 3 special diets, and they did everything they could to accommodate those needs. The manager came over to ask how our dining experience was, and was chatted his ear off for a good 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend eating here for dinner.
