One Eared Stag
Fresh, interesting menu. The space is lovely, and there isn’t anything quite like it in O4W or Inman Park. It’s my go-to if I want a nice meal and I want to impress someone.
Love it ! A little expensive. Love the location and staff is always wonderful.
Awesome place for mid week lunch, with great cocktails and nice beer and wine selection. Food is delicious, from their appetizers to their entrees. The shishito pepper-anchovie-cheese appetizers was a great starter. The hash was delicious, with two perfectly fried eggs, and their off-the-menu burger is insane good and served with a mound of delicious fries. The restaurant was quiet in the afternoon, but the service was awesome. Great place to grab a good weekday lunch!
Overall it was good. I had been wanting to go since they opened. Food was good. Super cute on the inside but there was something missing. Food wasn’t great. Service was just a little off. We were sat in this corner where every few minutes someone came by to rip a huge piece of craft paper for the tables even though the place was pretty empty. My dinner was tasty but my husband’s left much to the imagination. Glad I finally went and I hope that it was just an off night for them but don’t know that I’ll have occasion to come back soon.
Our food was delicious, but our service was terrible. Our server seemed ticked off with our table from the very beginning when we asked questions about the menu. He argued with me that an over easy egg is not supposed to have a runny yolk. He was terrible. Fortunately, the food made up for his rudeness and awful service.
The appetizers were good and they do a great burger. My girlfriend went for something a little more elevated (lumped crab meat dish?) and it was great too but the server told me the burger was off-menu and after trying an off-menu High Life cocktail that was fantastic I went for it. Good choice. The staff is friendly without kissing up and they actually seem like they want to be there. Good experience and I like to support local shops so I'll definitely be going back.
I think they have $1 oysters and $1 Miller High Life ponies on Tuesday or something. Looking forward to that!
Food and drinks were great, nice neighborhood place. But was way too hot in the restaurant, don’t think the AC was working, and when paying high prices for food should at least expect to be comfortable! Doubt I’ll give it another try, this is the 2nd time miss for this place.
Great good and ambiance. However our main meal took more than 40 minutes and we had to ask after it before we got an update. Finally we asked for it to go. I suspect our server may have forgotten to put it in, the restaurant was maybe 1/3 full. If that was the case she should have said so.
Awesome. Staff and kitchen worth the trip.
A little too expensive
Excellent service, excellent food! Our waiter gave us great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks.
The food was okay. We think the meals were served in place settings that were too small. Things got messy quickly. Our server barely came over to replenish our water even when we made it patently obvious that we needed more water. She wasn’t very attentive about the choices on the menu — like we ordered a carb-heavy appetizer and a carb-heavy entree. It would have been nice to know ahead of time what we were getting as the menu didn’t quite describe it fully.
Two of the four cold dishes than we selected were outstanding and the other two fine, but unexceptional. The first two wines we attempted to order were unavailable, but a third option, offered by our waitress, turned out to be quite good. The service was excellent, the dessert was quite tasty, and we enjoyed our adventure to try the latest creative food at the One-eared Stag, as we always do.
Great place overall! Nice fresh food with creative flavor combinations. Definitely worth going to again and again.
Had a wonderful experience with friend who likes high quality food that's farm-to-table. Waiter was charming, space was clean and quiet, and my friend and I were able to talk late into the night
You owe it to yourself to try their hot chicken appetizer! The taste was simply amazing and so very flavorful...Crunchy, juicy goodness!
Delicious food good ambiance, 2nd time i've been my date enjoyed herself as well got the chicken on bread, has to be some of the best chicken i've ever had in my life will go back to have it again!!
We were disappointed on a Saturday night they were sold out of the peach cobbler at 6 o’clock. The two other desserts pancake was very dry and the brownie was so hard that my in-laws had to ask for a knife to eat it. It taste fine. Probably had been frozen and defrosted we’re not sure. That was quite disappointing. The Burger was fabulous and the scallops were a bit salty
Friends's birthday brunch & our server (Gina I believe?) could not have been more wonderful.
Enjoyed the ambiance and location, was disappointed I reserved under my fiancés bday celebration and there was no mention. Waitress ordered my meal but neglected to ask for his until we made comment he hadn’t ordered. Fried chicken dinner was amazing. Overall felt semi let down that I wanted it to feel special and I think the attention from the server was sub par :/
I always enjoy my meal at One eared Stag. Most recommended things on the menu, their pastry basket which is damn delicious, the fried chicken sandwich, and their lamb, chick pea dish, very scrumptious.
Slow service. Over cooked Pork chop meat. Ever so slightly on the spendy side all things considered in our experience.
Fantastic brunch! Great variety cool twists on classics and some innovative dishes. The fried chicken and black pepper biscuits and gravy are not to be missed!
Excellent food and service. Incredibly fresh farm to table offerings with everything perfectly prepared. It was a little noisy, but that was attributed to one particular party.
My review is mixed reason being the service was wonderful, the ambiance was nice but the menu did not reflect what was posted online and that was very misleading. Yes it was sophisticated but too sophisticated to the point I needed a dictionary to know what the heck I was eating. So I settled for a nice fried piece of chicken on a piece if bread which again was good in portion size but again I did not get dressed up and to have a piece of chicken on a slice of bread that I could have made at home ( not disrespect, might not be exact but dam near close).
The meals were amazing as always, and the ambiance is great! Perfect combo of delicious and fun for an evening dinner.
Food service was incredibly slow. It took almost 40 minutes to get our appetizers and over an hour for our entree. We asked the manager about the wait, and he
to tell us that’s how long it normally takes. When our entrees finally did come, they were cold. The food was OK, but for how much we paid for it and how long we had to wait, it wasn’t worth it.
This is some of the most creative food in Atlanta. We shared 2 appetizers and 2 entrees in our group and had cocktails. Everything was unique, well balanced, and prepared perfectly. We were early for our reservation and were taken care of, servers were pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable. The restaurant has a clean, open atmosphere, and the outdoor seating is lovely. This restaurant is in my Atlanta Top Three.
One of our most favorite places to go. Wife and went there for dinner...Brian and Zack were our servers and made the best recommendations on drinks, entrees and dessert! Had the greatest time!
Had an amazing meal where my friends and I were able to communicate casually and comfortably.
great food and cocktails. super attentive service too!
I loved this place the first time I came, but it was like a totally different restaurant this time. The service was painfully slow and the restaurant was only half full. The food was ok, but not worth the price. Really disappointing.
Wonderfully creative dishes and excellent service. A big yes.
The meat sticks were way too salty tonight. They were burning our tongues of saltiness. Very disappointing when I took my dad to OES specifically to try the infamous meat stick. Everything else was great.
Excellent ambience, attentive staff and awesome food. Loved it and we will go back.
Awesome Mother’s Day brunch!!
Not a very exciting place to be on mother’s day. Expected to be greeted and treated with enthusiasm as we were celebrating with my wife and 2 boys. Hostess was very apathetic. Waiter didn’t remember it was mother’s day. Was told there were no off menu items to order. Once food was delivered we found out there was. My son was charged for something he did not order. Have been to highlands , Inman park for many mother’s days in past. Always given a flower, mimosa, or at least greeted and served with excitement. I called restaurant that evening spoke to manager , and requested a call back from him or owner and have yet to hear anything 2 days later. Not a surprise considering our experience when we were there. Hope they reach out but won’t hold my breath
A bit disappointing as we had been eager to try this neighborhood spot. Basically high prices for small portions with no side . Menu was limited . Service was very flat, waiter had very little to say. Food was average. $12 for a salad that was made with old lettuce. Odd thing was everyone around us was eating a great looking burger and fries ...but it wasn’t on the menu ?Wouldn’t go back . Bummed .
Food was delicious and our waiter was very knowledgeable.
Really cute spot by imnan park!
