Visited here one year ago and enjoyed the experience so much that returned this year to celebrate my 50th birthday
Definitivamente una de las mejores experiencias que eh tenido durante mis 31 años e de vida que tengo
Thank You...All was Great! The view was fantastic and the service and food were great.
What a view. Worth the visit for that alone. Staff were nice and the burger was very good. Quite pricy though.
Love the view and the scenery the food was great and it was serve on time..our waitress was very courteous and had very good tips on the wine..would definitely recommend.this place to anyone..will be back soon
Had a reservation and was promptly sat at a lovely table. Server was very nice (from Russia). Everything we ordered was delicious and cooked to order. Our server recommended a dessert and it was delicious!
I do wish for the price there was a soup/salad option with meal as well as bread etc. But overall was very pleased; and would eat there again if we find ourselves in NY
Nice I love it everything was beautiful thank you
Food was terrible! Rubens are my favorite sandwich But their Rueben was the worst I’ve ever had. Something I would expect to be served in a bar in a hotel lounge in......Mexico, maybe. This is NEW YORK CITY! WTF?
We hated all of the shtick greatly and that we couldn’t go directly to the restaurant without buying a ticket for the observatory, as well. It made our lunch for 4 terribly expensive.
We also didn’t appreciate being hemmed into watch video before being released to go directly to having pictures taken. I had to demand to be allowed to skip the video and fight off the camera people.
The views were great, of course.
Service was lovely , sadly food was below average, observatory fee applied regardless of obstructed views due to weather. Dinner on the sky was our main objective. A donut was $6.58 and border stale.
Service and atmosphere were great. Food was mediocre at best. We had grilled octopus, fries, and wings. Everything was cooked fine. But the flavors were lacking even on the french fries! Had little to no salt or other seasonings. The grilled octopus was cooked well but the bean accompaniment was bland at best. You are paying for the experience.
I absolutely loved it! The view is amazing! Loved the food, grilled octopus was fantastic.
The staff was beyond accommodating! We kept getting stuck in traffic on the way to dinner, and the hosts still let us keep our reservation. They say us in an amazing booth that we didn’t expect. They gave a beautiful happy birthday card for me to bring home! My boyfriend and I work at the best steakhouse in Tampa Bay, and the filet we had was incredible and better than anything we had before! Since we sat later than expected, we ended up staying past close; being in the hospitality industry ourselves, we know how much that may bother most workers and we truly felt bad, but our server was incredible and let us enjoy our meal with a view and he had great conversations with us. Thank you for letting me have the best birthday dinner, and for all of your patience and kindness! I will certainly be back next time I am in NY!
Outstanding service from Rachel our waitress. Beautiful food with an amazing view. Best meal in NYC!
A fantastic experience. We had a table in front of the window. As we ate, darkness descended to see Times Square and surrounding areas all lit up. Wow!
Food great, service great.
Great view, nice, but not outstanding food, service not attentive. 18% gratuity added to the bill as compulsory and this showed in the level of service offered by the staff. Their tip was guaranteed so why go the extra mile. Had to keep trying to get their attention for anything we wanted. Check has a space for a gratuity when 18% already added!
When booking please keep in mind that you have to pay to enter the observatory which will be an additional $40 per person.
Food was awesome, butternut squash soup delightful, had the sea bass also delisous my wife ordered some flatbread something with figs and greens also awesome
Food was good, service not good at all
View for days! The Food and drinks are pricey, but worth every penny. Definitely a memorable time.
Todo muy agradable. El personal extremadamente atento. El señor que nos atendió , se tomó todo el tiempo mecesario para responder nuestras preguntas.
It was a excellent meal and a real treat to see the world all around us while dining!
Decent atmosphere, but the food wasn’t the best. Some stuff was very greasy, or undercooked/overcooked.
We had a very enjoyable experience for Valentine's Day. It wasn't however clear to us that in order to dine here you do also have to purchase the $40 minimum ticket price PER PERSON to get to the restaurant. So for 3 of us, that was an unexpected $120 bucks. We did enjoy the food, the ambience and the excitement of being 100 floors up for dinner. The views are simply spectacular! We did get to walk around after dinner too and take in the views as well. but be prepared to purchase the tickets and also give yourselves AT least 45 to 60 minutes prior to dinner reservation to get tickets and get up to the restaurant. We were lucky to get there 30 minutes and it was not busy so it wasn't a problem. But on a busier day, it would have been a problem. Food is of course expensive as well but it was very good. Something to consider for a special occasion. They found out we were celebrating my daughters birthday and they gave her another visit to the top of the tower. it was a very nice touch.
From the moment we stepped in the place it was filled with organization and comfort. The dinner was absolutely breath taking! The serve was excellent and as were other works making sure the night was spectacular!
Flew in from Ohio to treat my fiancé for dinner at the top of the world. Food was amazing and our server was wonderful however, there was a tourist trap feel I couldn’t shake. As soon as you step off of the elevator, they’re trying to sell you use of an iPad guided view. Yes, the view was worth every cent but when you do the math you start to second guess your decision. $109 to ride the elevator to the restaurant, $159 for a steak, a burger, a beer and a cocktail (taste was amazing though). Our table was TINY like a night stand and was A row away from the railing so we didn’t really have a view we sought while we dined. 18% gratuity is automatically added to every cheque no matter the number in your party. The elevator tickets were supposed to each have a $15 voucher towards dinner or the gift shop but after shopping for a good 30 minutes they said that we had the wrong tickets and no voucher when I specifically selected the more expensive ticket with the voucher. At the end of the day it was more about the experience and seeing my fiancé illuminate with excitement over the view from the observation deck. I never complained about the costs but I definitely want to caution anyone who may be on the fence that this is a premium plus dining experience with a premium plus price tag. Our total cost of dinner was more than the cost of our flight. If I had it to do over I would skip dinner, experience one world observatory, maybe have a drink up top and then dine elsewhere. As a 9/11 era former firefighter, this is hallowed ground and a bit of a pilgrimage for me and I’ve yet to decided if I feel that they’re profiting on the tragedy or on the resilience.
Food was ok
Service was attentive
Obviously we were here for the view and experience!!
Took my fiancé for her 21st birthday lunch and it was lovely! Staff are really polite as well !!
Quality of the meal was amazing and ambiance with the views was incredible.
We had a great experience! We were running a little late so I called to let the restaurant know. The person who answered the phone was so nice! She held our table for us. We were so thankful! The view from our table was incredible! Our waiter was awesome! The food was very good! We had a wonderful lunch!
Went here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and had a fabulous time. There was no one in the observatory or restaurant since they had to stop the elevators due to the wind. The food was great and so was the service. For those reviews saying it’s too expensive for what you get, I have to disagree. You’re paying for the experience and views and the food is not bad
If you have good weather, the view would be great however, if the weather is cloudy, there is NO view.. nothing to see!. The menu is quite limited and very $$$$. It was hard to judge the noise level because there was only one other couple in the whole place. The staff was lovely and I'm sure the view would have been lovely also...
Chief complaint and really my only complaint is that you have to spend $35 per person to get to the observation deck to eat there. The meal for two people without drinks was $130. Tack another $70 on there for two people to go up, we are at $200. The food was great, and the service was great. The setting is amazing and the noise level was very low because the tables are spread out well. Not something I would do often but mostly because I can eat somewhere else before or after paying $70 for the view and be just as happy.
Had an exceptional dinner. Our server, Andre made great recommendations.
Absolutely beautiful view. Prompt service. Food was great!
Food was good and the service was very good. I am disappointed that you have to pay for the admission to the observatory to get dinner. They should offer a deal or some type of "validation" that can get you a refund or credit at the restaurant.
We arrive late for scheduled reservations, but the staff was courteous and professional, and seated us promptly. As for the waiter, he was patient and knowledgable with food / wine recommendations. The venue was quiet and comfortable. However, i would have preferred the soup (vegan /barley), which was delicious to have been slightly hotter.
Food was very good, view was outstanding, service it took almost an 1 hour to got our food from kitchen to the table, we order two kids meals one kids burger and chicken finger, 1 ribeye and 1 duck breast I think it is too much time they took for this food to be served, another thing is the mandatory tip of 18% , tip should be given according with the rate of the waiters service, it should not be mandatory.
