Asked to be placed by window and to have a birthday dessert sent to the table. Neither happened. Had to ask for it again.
The food here exceeded our expectations by far. The service is great as well, and you simply cannot beat the view. Definitely worth the price of a ticket to the observation level. Best time to go is around sunset.
Unfortunately the idea is fabulous to have this great restaurant in One World Observatory but no one really ever came by for like 20 minutes? We were trying to order gluten-free but they don’t offer anything no salads, no and it was quite sad but we had a drink and proceeded to another restaurant which had a complete gluten free menu and the food was phenomenal! The view was stunning and the building amazing the quick service seems better than the restaurant but you can’t beat the view!
We had the most amazing date. Top notch service. Views you can not imagine
Loved it. Will go again. Worth the price. Great experience.
While it is a little pricy, the view alone would make it worth the $. Food was very tasty, service was spot on and THE VIEW is out of this world. We were there on Saturday for lunch and the restaurant had singles, couples and families all enjoying their meals.
The quality of the food was a bit underwhelming, but that is not really what one is here for, hence the four stars. The view is, of course, amazing, regardless of seating, and it’s the centerpiece of the experience. The service was also very attentive.
From our table in the restaurant we were surrounded by the amazing views of NYC. We dined during sunset so it was fun to see the city light up into the nighttime city that never sleeps. I brought my 2 daughters 12 and 9 and they enjoyed the experience.
We had the exclusive wine by the glass which was nice. The burgers were ok. The children’s menu is a bit more upscale than the usual chicken fingers and more suitable for older children.
The dinner overall was pricey. The people working there were very nice and willing to snap pictures for you. The service was slow. We were not in a rush to leave but if you are then it might not be a good choice.
Overall a great experience.
A great experience mainly down to the amazing views. Food was good, service was slow and no special service or compliment for our special occasion. Had to pay to get into building but did get to take part in the whole observatory experience. On the whole, something fun and different, would not rush back.
I went with my 2 sons for my 50th birthday and it was perfect. Fantastic food, great service and outstanding views over Manhattan. It was light when we started and dark when we left so we got to see the city all lit up too.
The food was poor and expensive. I would recommend it just to get drinks. The drinks are about $15. The kitchen inexplicably closed at 6:30 at this restaurant because "it's owned my the port authority and there are Union regulations"
Who knew all I needed to do is come a hundred stories above ground to relax? Amazing meal, great service, decent food, and overall fabulous experience!
I took my girl for her birthday
The view is really what you are paying for. The staff are friendly.
We were there to see the sun set over New York from the 102nd floor. Good food and service but the view is everything.
Can't beat the view.
One of best burgers I've ever had.
Server didn't pay much attention to us since we didn't order drinks. At 2pm
Not inexpensive. Great view, limited menu options. Food was very good. A little noisy.
Honestly, I was expecting something over extravagant and extremely expensive. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it really wasn't something over the top, but a great place to grab a decent dinner with a cocktail or glass of wine while over looking NYC. Don't be expecting a high end dining experience, but rather a perfect casual dinner while overlooking NYC.
We arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation as instructed and we were still 20 minutes late to our reservation time. Should have a separate entrance for people dining at the restaurant but they do not.
The restaurant tacks on 18% gratuities regardless of how many people. So, we felt like the server we had didn't have to try very hard to be accommodating. He was very cold.
Food was very good and can't beat the view!!!
Good food, good service, great atmosphere, fantastic views, only drawback or suggestion is that they should have an option to take an elevator to the restaurant and bypass the observatory and $37 per person ticket for that, it was embarrassing to meet a customer there and they had to pay their own way to get up just to have dinner with me.
A very special experience to watch the sunset over NY. My advice - go to the observatory an hour before sunset and then enjoy watching the darkness fall and the lights gradually illuminating the city. A very memorable experience :)
No drinks after 730. No dinner after 8. Elevator deal is rediculous. Terrible marketing. No refund for bad weather. Elevator controls restaurant. All backwards. Needs new mgmt and bus plan. Huge huge waste of a govt resource. Could be a great destination. Waste of tax dollars. Why?????
Great views of NYC. Food was surprisingly good. Andre our waiting provided outstanding service with a view to match.
Good service ,expensive food ,long waiting once you get there you have to make 3 lines so dissapoint it👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
The place is to small and a huge noise. The menu is not that comprehensive to be worth the price paid (to go up and have dinner).
This was such a fun date for my husband and I while visiting NYC for the weekend! The whole One World experience was awesome! It would be nice to get a little bit of a discounted price for entry into the One World experience when dining. You have to pay the full admission price for the One World Observatory even just to dine at ONE Dine. I'm still very happy we did this and the experience was breathtaking! We both had the ribeye and it was perfectly cooked and delicous. The burrata appetizer wasn't very tasty. I was disappointed because I'm a huge burrata fan! But the wine and main course more than made up for it. Our waiter seemed indifferent to us and felt like he was rushing us along, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our experience at ONE Dine!
I enjoyed everything from the menu to the view!
Incredible views jaw dropping super food and. Wow !!!
The food was okay. But the view is the main thing you go for. Overall it was a nice experience. I would recommend.
The service and view were excellent. While Understanding such a venue will be expensive, the expectation is the food would be at minimum, good. The calamari was dripping with oil. The chicken in the chicken sandwich had so much oil, it literally soaked the bread. Could not eat it at all. The gelato was the only thing we ate in entirety.
The views were spectacular. Well worth the visit. Glad our table wasn't near the bar as that was very crowded
The whole point of eating here is the view. We went on a day when there was zero visibility and unfortunately we couldn’t see anything. We had reservations for one dine so we didn’t want to reschedule once we were there. Unfortunately we wasted 100. 00 on the elevator ride because if you can’t see anything , it’s just a restaurant, not one dine. I really wish we would have gotten to see the view, but it’s sort of a gamble you take. They should adjust their return policy to allow people with dining reservations to return at another time if there was zero visibility. After all, not only did we spend a hundred bucks for the elevator ride but we also spent an additional 130.00 at the restaurant. We might as well have eaten in a basement facing a white wall. We would have gotten the same effect.
Let’s face it you come here for the View. I came here during restaurant week which allowed you to avoid price of admission to the top which is costly. However their restaurant week menu was not published and very limited and nothing really to be desired. If you wanted to eat something you actually liked you had to pay an upgrade fee which was more expensive then published when the bill was generated. I had the salad which was small and bland because I did not choose to upgrade my starter. My girlfriend was ok with her upgraded appetizer.
If you wanted something edible for your main course you had to upgrade. I ended up getting the burger that tasted like it came from Burger King across the street. It’s funny the dessert tasted like Burger King too! Not really an upgraded entree in my opinion.
In conclusion, it was a tourist trap. I as a local should have known better. Going to the top was a bucket list item as a life long New Yorker. So I am glad I had a chance to check it out. The restaurant week menu with no price of admission was essentially a gimmick because you end up paying admission upstairs instead of downstairs! Wish it was better! Food should have been amazing for the money we spent!
I enjoyed the beautiful setting at the special occasion.
We loved the friendly staff, excellent views and tasty food. The whole experience will be remembered forever. 😍😍
We went during restaurant week and enjoyed our lunch. The service was really good but the food was just ok. I wouldn’t go there for the food but for the views and experience to dine there. I think we had had a good deal being that we ordered off the RW menu but the selections were very limited- only two choices for each course- and upgrades were available but at $12 for an upgrade to a Burger- I don’t think that’s should’ve been an upgrade but that burger was really good, I’m glad I upgraded to that option. And drinks were really good and strong- I ordered the red sangria because it looked too lovely to not take a picture of it. A bit pricey at $18 but you pay for the location. Other then that it was a bit cloudy but the views were still amazing.
Nice lunch. Spectacular view. Food is good to very good.
I would 100% come back for the ambiance, not so much for the food. My braised short ribs were a bit of a let down. It was probably 3/4 fat and 1/4 meat. Everything else was good. sides of leaks and mashed potatoes were good, drink was really good, and butternut squash soup was good.
The view is priceless but the food and service doesn't live up to the prime location. Our waitress was really friendly but the other waiters weren't, they gave us our plates without saying anything and while looking away. As for the food, half of it was cold when served. Good selection of American wines.
