We had a lovely time celebrating two birthdays for lunch at the one world observatory restaurant. We ordered couple of starters each and food was very nice and also a nice selection from the menu to choose from. The manager and the waiters were very friendly and the views of New York from our table were amazing. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.
A little disappointed I had to spend $36 to get into the restaurant.
Views were nice, food was mostly good except for a burger which was over cooked.
Service was good- a bit hostile at first, but became more friendly when he realized we weren’t tourists.
Ultimately, I would recommend it to a friend.
Horrible that we weren’t told that we had to buy a ticket to go up to the top floor for dinner and forced to buy it just to eat. What we paid for the entrance fee was almost as much as what we paid for dinner. Then they ran out of a lot of things. The restaurant is open to the viewing section below so all the noise traveled up. There were also no table cloths and felt like eating at a diner. Just a bad overall experience.
The restaurant was outstanding, the service was great and all the experienced was a great compliment to the observatory experience. I was very delighted to be there on father's day and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone inquiring.
My wife and I have wanted to return to the World Trade Center for 46 years and the One World Café was the perfect place to be. I worked on the Interior spaces (20 floors) of the North Tower for the Port Authority (NY) and I wanted to experience the same sensation I had when I was at the Windows of the World. The One World Café filled the bill, and the Salmon lunch we had was perfect. We had a life time thrill by visiting One World Café.
Thank you, Edward Yamada
We had a lovely meal with a perfect view of manhattan. Food was delicious and service on point.
An amazing first evening on New york.food and service excellent.i had the seared tuna starter and scallops main dish in photo(superb).
It’s a unique dining experience given the venue. If you get a table with a view it’s quite nice. It’s loud and the service is just OK. The menu is quite limited but very good. This is not really “fine dining” but it is unique and special. The fact that you need to buy admission to the Observatory makes it expensive and getting there with the necessary security, etc. makes it impractical for impulse dining. I suggest buying reserved passes to the Observatory to avoid lines.
Special Anniversary Lunch with Family and Friends. Placed in an excellent table with great views. Service was great and very attentive. The food was excellent along with the drinks and wine. Beautiful outing..
Booked the table almost a month in advance, spoke to three or four different employees at the restaurant end notated that it was my anniversary. Reserve a table by the window and was told they would have something at the table for us for dessert for our anniversary. Not only would they not give us a window table, they completely forgot the anniversary notation through any point of the meal.
I will never waste my money here again, I'm embarrassed for them.
Amazing views and service. Food great. Prices not bad
Food had some exotic additions but was delicious. Views were phenomenal. Our waiter was very attentive, had a wonderful experience
Great view . Reasonable food . Wine served too warm...otherwise memorable!!
Awesome, good food,Brilliant views, excellent Service.
The view was great and the service outstanding. The food however was nowhere near the quality expected for the price. The New York strip steak was not evenly cooked and very very tough. The bar and non reserved seating area was spilling over into the dining room and people walked by constantly from the other side to see the view. It was very loud and we were subjected to a group of intoxicated bar patrons singing happy birthday. Overall this is not a romantic place to have a quiet meal and enjoy the best view in New York.
Brilliant evening visiting the venue. First class service from Angel all evening, very helpful and attentive throughout. Well worth a visit!!
Worth it! Make it part of a tour. Great food and service.
Booked for my sons 21st birthday, was very disapointed with everything about it ! Booked well in advance and told them it was a special birthday and this was my sons treat! Table wasnt great, would have prefered one nearer the veiws, ordered 3 drinks all alcoholic as it was my sons 21st , got drinks, looked at menu and really wasnt anything that suited us! My husband decided he would get the chicken wings/ fries! He couldnt even eat the chicken the sauce was so congeled! Mean while we were asked if we wanted another drink which we said yes! They brought the drinks and my sons didnt appear, we asked the waiter and he came with a coke! So we said its a disarono and coke, he then asked for his id to prove his age and we said its his birthday today which i had already mentioned when i booked!!!! We also said hes akready had an alcoholic drink! But obviously it was just a coke they gave him!! Waiters kept coming over and we felt rushed that they wanted us out because we didnt all eat!! Was very dissapointed that they didnt even acknowledge that it was my sons special day! Spoilt it gor us and wish we had booked a different restaurant to celebrate as we came all the way from scotland!!!!!!
Food and drink were decent. View is great. Service was also good in the dining/bar area (the only area you aren't getting more stuff to buy shoved down your throat). Crowds were a bit bothersome, people watching was ok. It's more of an attraction than a restaurant. If it weren't for the ticket prices to get up there we'd probably go back again. Worth going at least once.
Excellent experience, very good food and the view is the best
our waiter was attentive and informative , the food was average and therefore over priced, the view is spectacular but i feel we paid the price for that prior to dining with the admission fee.
The hostess went out of her way to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. We had a special table with an anniversary greeting and a special note on dessert. Needless to say, the view was extraordinary. Don't forget that you also have to pay $34+ to get up the tower. Allow an hour to get up if you don't pay for the pass that skips the line (maybe more during peak season).
We were enjoying NYC with our 18 year old granddaughter. We wanted to eat at One Dine simply for the view expecting ordinary food, but instead it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly, the lunch really tasty. The beautiful building, the exciting elevator ride, the amazing views, and then great food - what more could you ask?
This was overall a great experience except for one thing. Our sons purchased a gift certificate to the restaurant for us for our 70th birthdays to use while in NYC. We had reservations for 6 p.m. for dinner. Before coming to New York, we purchased a tour that included ground zero, the museum AND the trip up to the observatory (near the restaurant). When done with the tour it was too early for dinner so we wanted to leave and return at 6. We were told we would have to pay AGAIN to go up the elevator for dinner! $32 each! That's totally unreasonable in our view. If we had the receipt, which we did of course, why would we have to pay TWICE? Someone needs to figure out how to resolve that problem! So......we ended up staying up there much longer than we planned to avoid the extra charge. Granted the views are amazing for sure, but.............
Food was not good except for my Ruben. Water was two up tight. 127 dollars was to high for the food. The food the USS Intrepid served was better and 70 dollars cheaper.
a great experience and view but the food and wine is expensive
One Dine was the perfect venue to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
With such a spectacular location I wasn’t expecting the food and service to be good, but both were! Limited menu but good food. Recommend the cheeseburger, excellent!
Enjoyed the 100th floor One World Observatory and followed that up with an excellent lunch. OWO burger was great and chilled shrimp and Reuben were just as good. Can't beat the view on a beautiful afternoon combined with a memorable lunch.
The food was amazing!!!!! And the staff was kind and always around when I needed something. Amazing experience!!
We had a beautiful birthday celebration. People who served our meals were great and it was a pleasure to talk to them. Food was fresh and delicious. Red and white wine from the restaurant were quite good.
Had reservations for noon however we had to wait until 1210!until they opened because they weren’t ready
Other that that seating was excellent se vet was very attentive
Food was delicious. The cauliflower soup was delicious
Fantastic Restaurant. Breath taking views of Manhattan. Great drinks. Very classy. Staff was veey courteous.
The only thing I would suggest would be to let patrons of the restaurant get up to the restaurant for their meal instead of paying for the observatory experience which is an additional $37 per adult. That makes for a very expensive night when the dinner included the view.
After reading some reviews I felt I needed to make my own mind up but they did help.
Good was good. Service was good and the waiter was friendly and helpful.
Views were spectacular and it did help that the skies were clear.
Only down fall would be the prices of drinks ( E.G ; $12 for half of beer) in which tax was added then an 18% tip added onto the whole amount. This took meal value from $171 to $223 in which i do find a huge difference.
Wedding Anniversary .
Andre and Frank were perfect. Bartenders couldn’t be more welcoming, and Lindsey was a wonderful hostess. We will come back for our next milestone celebration!
This restaurant doesn't have high chairs for kids. I clearly mentioned under the special requests section that I need a high chair for my toddler when I booked a table for dinner. Our reservation was confirmed but we were shocked to see that there was not even a single high chair and we had to make our very active toddler sit on our lap and in the stroller which was very inconvenient for us and my son. It just ruined the whole experience for us. I also mentioned that I need a special dessert for my husband's birthday but they didn't make any effort to at least put a candle. What is whole point of filling up the opentable special requests section when the requests can't be managed? Very disappointed!
I went for my birthday , amazing place the view was perfect
