We was shocked to pay into the observatory just to go for a booked meal. Nearly $50. The fries for the burger we had was over cooked... the oil needed changing. There was no passion there... just pretend professionalism. Lovely views... but no ambiance... I hate to say it but I expected something out of this world... but I was totally let down. Staff was ok... but there was there to do a job... with all the money they spent in the lobby and the whole experience getting you to the top..(was great).. they should of done this is in the restatraunt... it needs this wow factor.
Sorry team. Really honest .. please don’t take it to heart.
Nice meal in a stunning location
Love eating at this restaurant the view of the city is what makes it magical not matter the time of day!
It was very expensive just to get up to the restaurant. My daughter’s Apple Watch screen was cracked going through security with no offer to repair it. The food was not very good and the selection was extremely small. The view, however, was simply amazing. I would have just eaten at the small cafe had I known it was available as a choice.
It may be an unfair comparison, but I was a bit disappointed in the OWO. The original WTC restaurant was so glamorous and much prettier and more romantic. The food was good and our server (Rachel) was wonderfully attentive, despite also caring for a party of 20 women! Overall, the view is spectacaular, the experience was great, but I do think they could improve on the asthetics.
The whole experience was wonderful. The view was incredible and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the salmon!
What an incredible food experience with the best view of NYC! I would highly recommend grabbing a quick bite or lunch and taking in the amazing surroundings. The staff was also accommodating and professional. Thank you!
Amazing views and great food!
We specified in the reservation and also told the staff it was our anniversary. They never acknowledged it. Very disappointing.
The food was amazing. We loved the calamari! I had the salmon, which had the crispiest skin I’ve ever had on a piece of salmon. My daughter loved the ribeye and her boyfriend enjoyed the branzino. I also enjoyed the maple bacon bourbon cocktail and terrific views. Our booth was in a quiet corner and we didn’t feel rushed. I would dine here again.
We booked this through Open Table only 15 minutes before we arrived but they were turning away people as we arrived who did not have a reservation. The service was good and the food was fine but nothing exceptional. It was the amazing view of New York from this restaurant which made it the perfect place to eat on the tour of 9/11 museum and the World Trade Centre Observatory.
My only complaint was my ribeye was a little too fatty for my liking. For the price I would have liked something a little more edible.
My son’s 19th birthday.
We were fortunate to have had a clear day the 360 views were incredible. The entire experience was very enjoyable and would definitely do it again next time will be back for dinner and opportunity to see NYC lit up at night.
The food was ok. But only ok. The menu is limited. I don't like the fact the tip is automatically added in. The server knew he was getting paid whether he was good or not. It would've been a better experience if we had a more attentive server. Also most people have kids. Alot of people don't bring their kids to a place like this but mine is well behaved and goes everywhere with me. They have no high chairs or booster seats. I had to hold her the whole time which didnt help my dining experience.
View even from a table away from the windows was surprisingly good. Food was interesting and decent, best described as high-end middle of the road. Not a great selection-our vegetarian members did not have enough interesting choices. One of the 3 vegetarian dishes was so spicy it had to be returned. Service was good, not white glove. What was surprising was the bill: even with 3 of the ($18!) cocktails, the bill for 4 of us with tip was $350. That is why this gets 5 stars for value—-one would expect to pay a lot more for this type of unique location. We actually planned a tour of the observatory so that we arrived just before sunset, lingered a while on the observatory floor until it was dark out, and the headed to our restaurant reservation which was perfectly timed to match nightfall. If you can do that, I would advise trying. Our guests from France were quite impressed, which is not easy to do!
We had an awesome experience at One Dine. Food was excellent as was the service. Yes it is pricey but that is what we expected so actually bill was lower than expected. View was awesome, waiter was friendly and good food.
Of course, the view cannot be beat! Spectacular!! And the food is very good!
We knew there was no view when we kept our reservation, but were very surprised when the offer of an ipad with photos of the view we should have seen came with a $10 price tag. Folks, we already paid for the view but nature took it away. The least we could have gotten was images for free. Or a coupon for a discount return trip. Won't be back any time soon, although it would be wonderful on a clear day.
My fiance and I had a wonderful time here, the food was amazing, the service was spectacular, and the prices were reasonable, especially for the 2nd highest high rise restaurant in the world. We will be going back again for sure.
Great views of NYC from ABOVE NYC. Service was excellent.
It was fine. Food was pretty good. I had my family and a few coworkers so I paid $48 per person for the elevator ride to the observation floor to get to the restaurant then paid for lunch...I thought it was worth it for the novelty but expensive...
Visiting New York for a few days booked one dine for the view and a surprise for our friends and my wife. The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding specially from Frank you will not be disappointed great evening and thank you 😉👍
Nice place at the top of one world trade center, moderate/high price level.
serviceminded staff. ok burger. not a gourmet place, but its ok with the view.
the elevator should be free for guest at the resturant.
interesting experience with open table who sent a email while i was there that i didn't show up, the email was inappropriate and kind of treathing to let me know what consequences no show would mean for the restaurant. not pleasant.
It was a stunning view and a great experience. I made a reservation and requested a seat near a window well in advance. The food was expensive, and average, at best. Given the uniqueness of the location, I would overlook the price of the average food and do it again.
We came here 3 years ago and were very impressed with the calamari and the size of the dish and my son was going to have as a main dish as it was a lot last time. This time the plate was considerably smaller and the price had gone up which I expected but was now not value for money. My ribeye steak was good but not the best I had tasted and left me feeling underwhelmed . Having the refills on the drinks set to two was just stupid and not worth the money. I would expect if you want to show customers that the visit is well worth it then Don’t change things that aren’t broken. I was really looking forward to coming back to the restaurant and was prepared to pay the entry to get in I have been here before so I was not particularly worried about seeing the view as I had seen it before , I would have liked to have seen more of the memorial but we chose to visit the restaurant instead . Not worth the nearly $ 250 I paid to get up the tower to have a lunch.
Food is good, but way overpriced.
We had a wonderful dinner! The food was great, although the portion sizes were a little on the small side for the price. Definitely make reservations, and I'd suggest going for dinner. While the view is great during the day, the view of the city at night is breathtaking! Earlier in the evening it was a bit loud, as there were kids running around downstairs on one of the observation decks, but got a lot quieter as the evening went on.
Great food and cocktails, fantastic service.
Celebrated my wife’s birthday
Really nice booth with a fantastic view of my wife’s favorite, the Chrysler Building in the distance twinkling. Server was really nice and friendly but not over the top. Food was delicious. Bottle of wine, appetizer and main for $200 which included the tip. That’s not cheap but right in line with the setting and quality.
Loved it and would highly recommend !!
Meal and menu not worth the price ...service was good..
Food was okay, not many options. Of course the view was phenomenal which was the best part. The service was absolutely horrible! The waiter I think forgot about our table , he had to hunt him down to get our check. I read in the reviews prior to going that the service was bad, so I prepared myself for it. But what I experienced was just ridiculous.
My husband and I decided to dine at One Dine for date night and had quite the experience. We loved the entire experience everything from the greeting of the friendly hostess to the magnificent view of Manhattan. The food was delicious and the service was timely. We loved the atmosphere and the fact that the staff did not rush us to finish our dining experience. We definitely plan to go again!
The food was fantastic. The deserts were very small portions for the price though. Service was insufficient. Water glasses stayed empty, we had to ask another server for a dessert menu and then had to wait quite a long time for our bill.
There are a hundred and two stories that go along with this View and exquisite restaurant.
Very overpriced for the experience. My advice is probably eat elsewhere and save yourselves a lot of money for instance: a glass of wine (which is served in a plastic cup) was $17 a couple in front of me bought 2 Pepsi and 2 white wines....$49 wow!!!! Should of seen there faces.
