Because One Bistro is part of a lovely hotel, it makes a special atmosphere to dine. I have been dining here for many years and have enjoyed each occasion as have my friends, family and guests. It is a star in my book.

Met some friends for Brunch that we have not seen in a while. One member of the party was Gluten Free and very happy with the menu. Our menu was diverse and easy for us to find something to satisfy everyone. The noise level at first was quiet but, a little nosier as it got into the noon time hour. The service was good as well as the food. We lingered for a while and we were not rushed out. Some of us moved over to the bar area afterwards ordered drinks and again the service was good and we stayed as long as we wanted. Would definitely recommend for Brunch especially because they do take reservations. I have been here for dinner as well and the food was also good.

We had a great meal at One Bistro. The wait staff was attentive, the food was delicious and the value of the "early bird" can't be beat.

One Bistro always has such an amazing ambiance when I go there. It is always super clean. The staff is BEYOND friendly. They go above an beyond for their guests. I went on Sunday at 11:30 AM, and it was the brunch menu. I was hoping to get something from their lunch menu, and the chef accommodated to me and let me order something off the lunch menu. Was very nice!

We went there with friends to celebrate two birthdays. We have passed this restaurant many times and decided to try it out. We all plan to return to the restaurant. The food was very tasty and had some nice twists. The food was moderately priced, i.e., not cheap, but not excessive.

The Early Bird Special is a great value for Special Occasion dinner. The restaurant is comfortable, upscale, hidden gem, not disappointed in our fourth visit with friends, family.

Okay Sunday brunch. Booths were super tight, waffles were clearly made hours ago, and the "hot" syrup was barely warm. Seafood chowder and crab cake Benedict were both delicious. Service was friendly, but not particularly attentive.

Why would anyone go to a hotel restaurant In Norwood? Because the food is very good, the atmosphere is vibrant and decor is up to date. The menu is large and the wine and beer choices (including draft) are attractive. Service was great.

I’ve driven by this place many times over the past 12 years but never thought to give it a try until it came up as an option on a Saturday night when other places were booked. I will put this down as a top of mind dining choice in the future.

Table was cold. Building poorly insulated, I’m guessing.

Waitress inattentive, though pleasant enough.

Menu and food very strong.

I had mentioned in Opentable request that it was a birthday event, but the restaurant apparently took no notice.

4th year in a row that we have dined here for our Thanksgiving meal. My husband always gets the turkey dinner, and he is always completely satisfied. I always order whatever the fish offering is, and I'm always excited when it is sea bass. The entire staff works like clock work, and they all work together so that everyone has what they need when they need it. Managers are present and inspect each plated meal prior to it being served. Such a lovely, relaxing way to spend our holiday. We will be there next year without a doubt.

Service was poor, very slow, didn’t come back to check in, had to go find a server twice thought she was on a break or her shift was over but was told she was sorting out the silverware in the back. Need some leadership over in Norwood!

Without a wedding or other special event in the hotel, the restaurant was, to our delight, calm and pleasant on Sunday evening. The service was satisfactory, but without the usual hustle and bustle the wait staff was a bit sluggish. Of more importance, the food was uneven. The scallop appetizer was excellent, but the mussels were not nearly as good as the area's Italian chain. The beet salad was both heavy and rough, and the Caesar salad lacked any distinctive flavor.

Our first visit to One Bistro. The place was quite busy for a Saturday night and we were seated at a table adjacent to the kitchen pick up area. Not great. Noisy with a constant stream of waitstaff picking up and delivering meals. I guess you can't be too picky with a last minute reservation on a Saturday, but still, it was as if they set the table in the middle of the walkway because they had to honor an Open Table reservation. Like the scene in Goodfellas, when Henry goes to the nightclub with his girlfriend and the host puts a new table adjacent to the stage because the place is full... except this wasn't a stage...

Anyway, back to the review - the service was excellent. Michele was tops - attentive, friendly and made our evening. The food was okay. Two appetizers of Medallions over arugula were fine, French Onion soup was thick with melted cheese, crab cakes were nice and the 5 oz. Filet was very good. The specialty pizza - fried calamari - was interesting. Thick crust with no apparent sauce - cheese and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar - it would have benefited from either a marinara dipping sauce or marinara right on the pie... shared the bourbon bread pudding and our son had the chocolate molten cake paired with creme brulee - both were very nice. Limited wine list with prices a tad higher than we like to pay...

Overall, it was an okay experience - I think had the table been a bit better (i.e. less traffic and noise), our experience would have been measurably better.

We will likely return, but calling to ensure that we don't end up with the table by the kitchen.

Nice looking restaurant and chose it based on the high reviews, but overall disappointed for the price. Calamari appetizer was very good. But- One friend ordered chicken parm that was burnt. My filet ordered medium came out well done. My husband ordered flank steak medium and it came out red. No one wanted to complain so we just picked at it. Apple pudding dessert was good, but server forgot to put in the cappuccinos, so we never got them. Maybe they were just having an off night, but expected much better...probably will not come back again.

For brunch for birthday. Reservation was lost after receiving confirmation. Had to rebook the night before. No mention of birthday to the birthday girl. I Asked for a grilled English muffin. It was put on grill dry and burnt. Over all I would rate experience a 9 of ten. We will be back as overall ,food, service and atmosphere are very good.

OneBistro is pretty decent fare for a hotel restaurant. Contrary to the projected image, it is not fine dining or anything, but it shouldn't try to be. The clientèle is largely people staying at the hotel and those who work near it. Also, it can get rowdy around the bar and TVs showing sports. Anyway, the food is okay. The appetizer, shrimp egg roll type things, relied too much on the sauces. If you like spicy, you'll like them, but they were too much for my taste. The spiciness was hiding the small amount of shrimp in there and mediocre vegetables. The scallop dish was pretty good, but the bacon cubes were not cooked properly: blackened on one side, rubbery and undercooked on the other. It was busy, but not THAT busy. Burger was cooked correctly but had a little too much liquid for the bun to handle. Passable fries. Lastly, the desserts were great. Heavily recommend the bread pudding.

Great food and atmosphere. Service and servers are fantastic. Joanne, Erin, and Renee were wonderful. And Katelyn at the bar makes the best cosmos. Restaurant manager, Jacob, also came by to Say hello. The filet mignon is the best.

One Bistro provides good bar bites and comfort food with a creative twist. Located in Norwood, MA, along U.S. Rte 1 in the Sheraton Four Points Hotel, it's a good restaurant for lunch or dinner. The basket of cranberry-grain bread with sweet butter is more than worth the visit!
