This restaurant is gem! Lucky to have such quality outside of Boston!!
We had a great experience. We don’t get out very much but when we do we choose to go to One Bistro. The food was delicious and the service was great.
Always reliable; attentive great service and delicious food made to special requests.
Delicious food, great drinks, nice ambience
Always great dining options and outstanding service.
This was a pleasant surprise. We found this as a recommended place nearby on Open Table and will be certainly returning. The cook on our filets was perfect, french onion soup was divine and the dessert was certainly worth leaving room for.
A very nice bistro, very lively on a Saturday night. People seemed to be enjoying the ambiance and the good food. We will go back.
We had an excellent birthday dinner for my husband and I. We were seated at one of their best booths by the windows to celebrate my husband's birthday which I was able to request ahead of time. The food was excellent. I got the rack of lamb which was delicious and my husband got the salmon dish. Both were prepared to perfection! The appetizer crab cakes and Bistro salad were also delicious and the gelato at the end of the meal was so creamy!
It was a great night, great food, and awesome celebration!
I almost always write a rave review for One Bistro. This time however, we were the first diners. We sat at the bar and my husband had a drink and I asked for water to take a pill. Fifteen minutes later that same server offered and poured a drink for my husband and ignored me. Oh, did I mention my hubby booked this open table reservation and sent message to One Bistro that it was my birthday. Server was now busy having a bar patron google the cocktail she ordered. I'm still waiting for the dinner menu I requested upon arrival. It doesn't matter. We were NEVER served!!! Why did I tip? Why did I even pay?? They may consider paying an actual bartender at the BAR rather than waitresses taking turns who have no clue after they hear from their Corporate Offices with whom I filed a complaint. These servers took pride in saying that they were "helping" each other. How about helping a paying customer who came to celebrate her retirement from the day before and her birthday the following day??? No apology and no excuses, SHAME ON YOU One Bistro Management!!!!
Great service and delicious food! Best filet I’ve had in a long time. A+++
We were pleasantly surprised at how good our meals were. I had the salmon and my husband had scallops. Both were excellent. Although we didn't have dessert, the choices were great.
Love the trio menu at lunch. Choose soup, salad, and either half sandwich or crab cake. Seafood chowder is excellent. There are many other items on the menu too. Very nice spot. Great service.
Outstanding. Melt in your mouth filet. Highly recommend for any occasion.
We had the special, the Filet with Tiger Shrimp. I have to say the Filet was cooked to a
medium rare perfection and was delicious. The shrimp were large and cooked perfect, with each one sitting on a sliced potatoes augratin. And, as always, we started with their incredible cranberry bread. A+++
We have a wonderful dinner. The restaurant accommodated us and sat us with friends. They recognized we had 2 toddlers and brought over a cute distraction toy. Brandon was our server. He was outstanding. We had appetizers, dinner, and dessert. The food was high quality and cooked to perfection.
Excellent food and service.
Love this restaurant.
Excellent meal! I had the 10oz filet and my husband had the sirloin special. Generous side dish portions as well. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Delicious! We will be back!
The only disappointment was that we had requested a booth in a quiet area of the restaurant and we were seated by the kitchen. At 6:00 the restaurant wasn't full so we were able to request another booth in a quieter area.
Everything was wonderful. The booth was a little tight for the 4 of us. They offered to re seat us to a table but the gentlemen declined. It was just cozy. But everything else was wonderful.
The vegan meal was delicious
The bone in pork chop had a glaze that overpowered the chop
Delightful, as always.
Excited that my new job will make lunching @ the Bistro feasible now! Given the constraints that are part of workday lunching, time and taste are paramount. And we were not disappointed on either measure.
Great food (filet and risotto special) and great service.
Booked a reservation for brunch for 3 of us for noon on Sunday . We were seated right away. Ordered our cocktails. About 15 minutes later they arrived. Our appetizer beat our cocktails to the table. We ordered food and it took forever. For an eggs Benedict, hash and a kids grilled cheese we waited about 30 minutes. Food comes out and the kids meal was grilled chicken. They brought her fries to hold her over. Food was mediocre at best. 2 tables that arrived after us. Both got there meals before our table. Were there a total of an hour and a half, no manager apology or server apology for the wrong meal, or wait time at all. Disappointed to say the least
My friends and I met here for brunch on Sunday and was surprised for how great a hotel restaurant could be. The service was perfect! The staff was attentive to coffee and water refills but did not rush us or push us out when we stayed for a very long brunch (we tipped double for our long stay). The food was delicious, fresh and hot. I had the chicken & waffle and my friends had omelets. We all loved our food. They also serve a basket of fresh breads/pastries that were excellent!
Overall, the food and atmosphere was very good. Unfortunately our server was not good. She forgot a specific request on my husband’s salad and my 2nd wine. And, after sitting too long with closed menus, I had to flag her down.( Although she walked past our table many times). The balance of servers were very good and quite attentive.
The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful.
Mtg with friends
Sunday early bird specials are outstanding values. Our prime rib was tender and tasty. The room was particularly quiet for a Sunday since we were there during the Patriots playoff game when a lot of people were home watching the game.
Sadly, I have to leave a negative review here. We had high hopes for this place, having attended a corporate function previously that was quite good. Upon arrival, the restaurant and bar was packed, but we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The waiter was friendly and on his game. We were impressed by him! But the food was just terrible. First I ordered a margherita; total disappointment, as it was yellow and clearly made from a mix. Just way too sour. That wasn't the end of the world because I've learned that a lot of places can't make a good margherita. The waiter brought me a new drink at my request. We ordered shrimp spring rolls and onion soup for apps. The spring rolls were good. The soup was hot and good, a bit salty though. One thing that was sloppy was that they clearly melted a slice of cheese on top, which left a rectangular rind resting on top of the bowl that I had to peel off and discard. Again not the end of the world but certainly not good presentation. When they brought the entrees, I had a very thick cut of fish. I immediately noticed that the spiced butter on top was not melting at all, which mean the fish wasn't hot. When I cut into it I was disgusted to find it RAW throughout. The waiter was apologetic and took it away. About 5 or so minutes later, our dishes came back and I was surprised to see that they gave me the same piece of fish again (I had cut it in half to see how raw it was, and what was brought back to me was the same two pieces). It looked cooked, but when I cut into each piece I found that it was still undercooked in the middle. I was starving at this point so I just at the cooked bits and left the raw parts on my plate. The waiter and manager apologized and took it off our bill, but I won't ever go back.
Went for a date night with my husband, we were so happy to have chosen One Bistro, not only was the food delicious but the service was fantastic!
Thank you guys for doing such a great job!
A favorite place no longer.they were busy for lunch but no excuse for poor presentation and burnt food...Split shrimp cocktail, good value but the shrimp looked as if they were dumped into a shallow dish and a few greens placed with them...My wife's Caesar salad with shrimp and scallops now reduced to two and two portion arrived burnt and inedible . After trying several people including the maître D' they were replaced at the end of the meal...Always loved their Cod dish, not this time, limp, soggy and tired fish..The drinks were still top rate..It will be a long time before we go back.
Because One Bistro is part of a lovely hotel, it makes a special atmosphere to dine. I have been dining here for many years and have enjoyed each occasion as have my friends, family and guests. It is a star in my book.
Everything was delicious! Looking forward to another visit soon!
Met some friends for Brunch that we have not seen in a while. One member of the party was Gluten Free and very happy with the menu. Our menu was diverse and easy for us to find something to satisfy everyone. The noise level at first was quiet but, a little nosier as it got into the noon time hour. The service was good as well as the food. We lingered for a while and we were not rushed out. Some of us moved over to the bar area afterwards ordered drinks and again the service was good and we stayed as long as we wanted. Would definitely recommend for Brunch especially because they do take reservations. I have been here for dinner as well and the food was also good.
We had a great meal at One Bistro. The wait staff was attentive, the food was delicious and the value of the "early bird" can't be beat.
The 10 oz filet was the best steak I have ever had!
One Bistro always has such an amazing ambiance when I go there. It is always super clean. The staff is BEYOND friendly. They go above an beyond for their guests. I went on Sunday at 11:30 AM, and it was the brunch menu. I was hoping to get something from their lunch menu, and the chef accommodated to me and let me order something off the lunch menu. Was very nice!
We went there with friends to celebrate two birthdays. We have passed this restaurant many times and decided to try it out. We all plan to return to the restaurant. The food was very tasty and had some nice twists. The food was moderately priced, i.e., not cheap, but not excessive.
