I ordered the fish and chips (early bird menu) which is usually very satisfying. The piece of fish was very small and overcooked which resulted in a mushy and tasteless portion. Everyone else's meal was wonderful as was the remainder of mine: salad, fries, cole slaw, and dessert. Will return, but I will order something else.

Once again, ladies' night out was a wonderful evening because of the wonderful food and service at One Bistro! We all had filet mignon followed by creme brulee and were happily satiated as usual with leftovers to look forward to this evening. Our server, Mel, took good care of us even when we asked multiple questions. Kudos to her patience. As Arnold said, "We'll be back!" Okay, he actually said, "I'll be back!" ... but you know what I mean. :-)

We have eaten there several times. The food was great this time. I love the braised short ribs! The heavenly dessert was great as well. The server, I believe her name was Madeline, was great! The manager came to our table twice to ensure we were having a good dining experience. We saw him helping the staff in different ways. Great job One Bistro!!!

It was a busy Saturday evening, so noise was a little up and service was a little slow, but all quite understandable given the conditions. The cocktail and food menus are both varied and well-developed, and the actual products exceeded the descriptions. I was there celebrating a birthday, but I hadn't let anyone know (intentionally). Our server learned of the event as we were looking over dessert menus, and quickly came out with an elegant birthday dessert for our guest of honor, complete with a candle! One Bistro has an extensive whiskey selection, that I wasn't able to take advantage of. I'm certainly looking forward to going back!

Our dinner with friends at One Bistro was a wonderful experience. Our server, Arcely T was most attentive and very knowledgeable about the food offerings. We dine here frequently and are always impressed by the many new offerings that are either specials or on the menu. One of the specials was Arctic Char and 3 of the 4 in our party ordered it. It was divine, scrumptious, and full of wonderful flavors. What a treat! We'll be back again soon!

One Bistro had no record of my Open Table reservation. It was a bit frustrating to start off our dinner being questioned and doubted about having a reservation. We were left standing at the host's desk with a 91 year old with us while the host tried to manage the issue. I eventually asked to be seated regardless of their confirming my having the reservation. I offered to show my confirmation multiple times. I use Open Table very frequently as always find it so efficient and pleasurable.

Food and service was exemplary. I shared the poached pear salad with a friend and we both loved it. The salmon was one of the best. Food temperature was on point. Great fall menu. Manager came over to check on us. Very professional. Looking forward to going back.

Lovely place for lunch especially. Quiet, lovely atmosphere allows for conversation. Tablecloths and cloth napkins, charming servers and most of all, delicious food. I had a special - spinach salad with bacon, candied pecans, Bermuda onions and grilled chicken - absolutely delicious. My friend had a visitor salad with the special option of delicious chicken salad. I have introduced 1 Bistro to many people, all of whom truly enjoy it.

It was difficult to get coffee refills. The waiter messed up my order. When waffles came there wasn’t butter and he left so fast I couldn’t ask for it. Then he didn’t come back to table so I ate them without butter. Flagging someone down for coffee refills wasn’t pleasant.

First the hostess wanted to seat us at a table across from the bar. I told her I did not want to sit near the bar, but she said nothing else was available. I asked her to check. There was a very good table near the kitchen which was perfect. I ordered the Fish and Chips. The fish was good, but the coating seemed like the fish with the coating came out of a box and was not made on the premises. The fish should have been fried in your kitchen from scratch. The cole slaw was not good. When the waiter told us the specials of the day, it was not clear if the fish tacos were a main course of an appetizer. Also, according to etiquette and to be fair to the diner, the waiter should give the price for each special. Sometimes, people are intimidated and refrain from asking.

The inside area looked very nice, but we chose to eat outdoors on a beautiful summer evening. The outdoor patio was a little disappointing. It could use some updating and beautifying. Waitress was wonderful.

I made reservations to have brunch after reviewing their on-line brunch menu. However, when we arrived, the first thing we were told is that "due to renovations" , they are only serving a limited menu so no brunch items were being served. It was very disappointing. We stayed and ate from the lunch menu. I wish they would do a better job at communicating at their website that brunch is no longer available.

We were really looking forward to enjoying a nice date night here after hearing great things from a friend. However, this experience was absolutely awful; maybe “tolerable,” at best. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was extremely noisy, with several patrons screaming across the bar, yelling obscenities and inappropriate conversations to a point where I expressed some concern about my discomfort to the host. We could barely hear the host, who immediately informed us there was only one server on staff, as they had “decided to send a bunch of people home early” amongst a semi-full restaurant & bar, and “there was nothing he could do about it.” We asked to be seated in a quieter, more private section to try to enjoy ourselves. We were taken to a much quieter area, equipped with several open tables and booths with much more privacy. Instead of a private table, the host sat us in a booth next to (less than 2 feet from) a table of 7, screaming across the table “talking” throughout their entire meal, instead. My fiancé and I couldn’t hear one another at all due to the noise at the table inches from us, (he has partial hearing impairments, hence our several requests to be seated in a quiet and more private area) and barely had a chance to speak to one another during the meal. The food was overcooked and tasted poorly, the portions and flavors severely lacking, and everything beyond overpriced for its quality. This was genuinely terrible, and the opposite of anything I would want or expect of a night out with my fiancé. The only positive thing about this experience was our server. She was working approximately 10 tables on her own, and didn’t miss a beat in refilling drinks, or taking our orders/bringing food on time with absolutely no assistance, and had a positive attitude all night. I gave five stars in the Service category, and that is SOLELY due to her. Would and will not ever recommend, and definitely will not be returning.

My friends and I come here for lunch at least several times a year. The Trio is an incredible value. It comes with a cup of soup (the seafood chowder is beyond fabulous and I'm full by the time I finish it), a choice of salad and a half sandwich. The sandwich became my dinner. All in all, between service, ambience and food, it's a 10.

It was great as usual, except for the fact it was undergoing some renovations. The only thing is that they could have saved some of the really loud work for after the lunch hour. The staff was great and apologetic, but not their fault. Other than the poor work timing everything was great. We go there a few times a year to meet friends for lunch or dinner and will continue to do so.
