   If you like the idea of cooking for yourself then the quality of the fish medley was good, nice, decent size portions of Tuna and Salmon. I hadn't looked at what type of restaurant this was, although the name is a bit of a giveaway, and wasn't expecting a scorchingly hot stone placed in front of my on what was already a very hot day. I can see this being a good experience for a group of friends but not something for a solo businessman.

   A great friendly place a great host food really good drinks also ie cocktails we have had anywhere and we have eaten in some posh restaurants in our time fell across this place by chance wish I’d found it earlier as it is due too close at the end of month all I can say go and sample it u won’t b disappointed

   On the Rocks is a superb Restaurant, one we always use when we are in the area. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Menu is excellent and the cook it yourself on the hot stones is very different and enjoyable. Cook your own Sirloin exactly how you like it! Do give it a try you won’t be disappointed!

   From the second we walked in and were greeted with a friendly warm welcome we knew it was going to be great. Hosted throughout with humour and attentiveness but nothing over powering it was such a great relaxed environment. Advice a plenty on what to choose, the house cocktails were amazing and so addictive and the food be that the starters cooked in the kitchen, the mains that you cook yourself at the table or the absolutely ‘guilt free’ desserts this place is an absolute gem. Genuinely no criticism, it was top class and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone, especially if you are out with a group of friends as it’s very social!

   Really enjoyed our meal with our friends visiting from Stamford. All the staff were really friendly and Dean really was attentive. It was busy so we did have a bit of a wait for the mains but overall a lovely evening.

   We went to celebrate our friends anniversary, the food was wonderful, the service wasn’t as good, the main waitress at our table had to be asked at least three times for the most basic of requirements, water for the table, she forgot our drinks order, she asked if we wanted the dessert menu which we said we did, we had to ask twice more before it arrived.

   Wonderful service - attentive, discreet and friendly. No waiting around but not rushed either. The tasty food was excellent!

   Heard it was good so decided to go and try it for myself so took my partner who is a veggie she had a veggie option and said it was very tasty but says she would have liked to to used the lava rock to cook some veggie food on like I did with my fish Coarse so this might be something that could be looked at . We very much enjoyed it all and will be back for sure we’ll done

    Have been here several times and have always had a lovely meal, not necessarily the cheapest but great for a special occasion. The service is always great and we will be back again soon
