I made reservations here for a romantic dinner. Well, the restaurant is beautiful decorated, I ask for Table Sixteen as it’s their table tucked in a corner and romantic-it said on line. The table of 12 across the restaurant were SO load we thought of moving or leaving. Our menus were on the table with a special insert served 4-7pm. We sat at our table at 6:45. After I decided on an entree from that insert the hostess came over and oh someone told my you had the inserts and your not supposed too. Well that someone was the waitress whom only talked to my husband (which made him feel uncomfortable as well as me) As the hostess took off with the insert I said to my husband well two thumbs down-loud table and special insert gone! She must have heard me as she came back and said well most of the items are sold out but you can have either this or that. Really??? Not the nice quite, romantic dinner we drove to Kennebunk for.

Great meal. Service very good, could have paid a little more attention to water glasses and bread. But overall I would recommend and go back.

We had such a great experience at On the Marsh. We went for my husband's birthday and they greeted us with prosecco and made the night great. Food was amazing, definitely recommend!

My new favorite restaurant! I hardly ever give 5 stars across the board, but I did for this restaurant. From the moment we drove in to the parking lot, walking through the lovely, whimsical, magical landscape, to opening the door and then viewing the tastefully whimsical and magical interior setting as well, I was enchanted. We had a lovely table for 4 with beautiful comfy wing back chairs with pillows, that I'm pretty sure looked out over the marsh but it was dark so hard to say. Our hostess was extremely welcoming, the server, Beth, delightful. Our water glasses were topped off frequently (maybe a little too often but I'm not complaining). Our drinks were delightful; I loved my blood orange margarita. The lobster bisque was to die for. The small wedge salads delightful. Scallops with bacon, corn and lobster risotto, heavenly - and I don't even like risotto but couldn't pass up the combo. The desserts were out of this world - lemon marscapone cake, apple dumpling (I cannot remember the exact name) warm with vanilla ice cream and a chocolate cake that was also too die for. I'm gushing, but I mean it. We had a wonderful meal with terrific friends further enhanced by a magical setting and staff. We will be back - Bravo!!!

Always great.. one of only 3 restaurants we visit annually during our summer and fall visits to Ogunquit. Might be new owners based on some changes in decor but the food is still outstanding.

A charming and romantic, cozy, beautiful spot! Good Sunday brunch. Staff is very friendly and plenty of choices. We enjoyed brunch so much that we went back for dinner at the bar. The garden variety martini was delicious as was all the food.

The restaurant is decorated nicely however it feels very "stiff". The table next to us was empty and the staff rearranged the the seating at it twice while we were trying to eat which was very disruptive as the chairs are quite large. The food was mediocre although the presentation was nicely done.

Our food was perfect .... BUT we kinda lost our waitress when she started to wait on the bar customers... there were only 2 of them..she ignored
us after that .....we did get dessert....but her friendly attitude totally had changed. We will come back again but will probably sit at the bar. Not going to spend. $$$$$ if that's the service you get. Too bad😕
