Olympia Provisions Southeast
Brunch just wouldn’t be brunch without the eggs Benedict from this lovely spot. Always a winner!
Olympia Provisions was overall very good. My husband and I shared a french board and the choucroute garnie. I got a glass of pinot noir. The board was fantastic. If i was to come again I think I would just get a variety of boards. The choucroute garnie was very meat heavy while too light on the sauerkraut and potatoes. That's not usually the problem when dining out. The pinot was mediocre for a $13 glass of wine. There was a couple next to us that we started talking to. They also got the choucroute garnie and the wife agreed with me ... next time just boards.
Had a lovely post Valentine's meal there on the weekend. Tables are a bit close together but the food was really great, amazing flavor and lovely wine pairing. There was only one dish which was not the best ( i think the Oysters) but they were not bad. So I have 4 stars. This was not their regular menu and I have never had their regular menu but it was great! Tables are a bit close and it is a bit noisy. My only complaints
The flavors were amazing. From the various sausages, to grilled vegetables with a pistachio pesto. The best of all was the octopus. I’ve eaten a lot of octopus, and it can be chewy when overlooked, but they dialed it in perfectly.
Great way to sample their products. Friendly staff Reservations helpful. Parking a nightmare.
The food was delicious. And we very much appreciated that we could take our time through the Valentines tasting menu. Took us over 2 hours and we never felt hurried. A lovely evening as usual.
We ended up spending about 2 hours here because the food was so delayed. The server ended up having to comp my boyfriend and I about $50 - $60 worth of drinks and free food because of the huge delays in service. Overall the food was great but, the service was definitely lacking.
Great service and special menu for Valentine’s Day
The buzz has died down around this place, but the food is still great. Classic dishes, done well.
The food is amazing. The stack attack is off the hook. Eggs Benedict on pancakes wow
Excellent! Highly recommend the steak tartare
Love this place - great wine selection too !
Drinks and small plates with family. Charcuterie boards were excellent!!!! Love this place-such a cool interior and vibe, cozy and comfy. Definitely in the rotation of best places.
Food was excellent, service was just right, Liz did an amazing job. You can also make reservations which makes it really convenient. Highly recommend!
I had a wonderfulexperience with Olympia Provisions Southeast. The service was excellent and freindly, my omelette was excellent and it had a great ambience. I would re-visit the next time I am in Portland.
Olympia Provision was great with the exception of having to wait for our table. I made a reservation for a table at 8 and we didn't actually sit in it until close to 9. We were well taken care of while we waited, and so it wasn't a big deal, but it seemed like it could have been prevented by simply alerting the previous diners at the beginning of their meal that they would need to be finished by 8.
The food was outstanding and like I said the host took great care of us. We enjoyed our meal which was fantastic and because it was just a group of friends and family waiting a little bit just gave us more time to chat. We had a lovely time and we would definitely go back, although I might not rely too much on reservations.
Amazing food and atmosphere! The staff was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. Accommodating to our group of 5 that grew to 7. The Goldfinch craft cocktail was 💯
Attentive service, delicious plates, and yummy drinks. What more could you need?
I recently visited Olympia provisions SE for a date night with my husband and I. I made reservations for 730 hoping we would be right after the main dinner rush but still earlier enough to enjoy the evening. We arrived on time and waited for our seats, after being seated no one had come by for about 10 minutes so the bar tender finally asked if we’d like drinks. After our first drink we were able to place our order. We ordered meats and cheese, winter veggies, mussels , and dumplings with ham. After ordering our second drink the cheese plate came out( it was fantastic), once finished we started to realize we had we’d been waiting again for our food for along time and at this point we didn’t want to order another drink. After another half an hour we finally decided to go ahead and cancel our order and head out for the rest of our evening. We left feeling really disappointed after waiting for two hours for a couple drinks and a cheese plate , this is my favorite restaurant in Portland and I just felt really let down!
Visited OP with guests from out of town. We shared everything and thoroughly enjoyed. An industrial feel of the space with excellent Charcuterie, all house made.
Great Octopus, short ribs and steak tartar along with cheese selections.
Nice wine selection of biodynamic wines,. It’s worth a visit
From start to finish, this was one of the best dining experiences we had in Portland. Staff was wonderful. We enjoyed our time there and can’t wait to go back.
home made meats compose the charcuterie board, great with lots of options. Octopus excellent, esp the mix with chorizo.
An amazing location. Great food, great drinks. I highly recommend the steak tartare and pickled egg. I visit from California and go to OP every time I’m in town.
Food is consistently excellent and the place has a lively stylish atmosphere, but service can be slow. Waited for over 20 minutes to receive our check after specifically asking for it, and the place was not overly busy.
Fantastic as always, food and service we're as expected.
Amazing as usual! Such wonderful, friendly staff that really made our night feel special. Easily my favorite place in town.
This was my 2nd time and I enjoyed it as much as the 1st time, we had the chefs choice meat board and all selections were fantastic, we also had the 5 cheese board and the small plate octopus dish and it was fantastic. The staff is always friendly and make great suggestions.
Food is great, service average as we waited 20-25min with empty restaurant.
We haven't been here in over 4 years after a short stint away from Portland and my wife a I noticed a real improvement in flavor of the dishes and salamis. Not that it wasn't good before, but our visit just seemed more memorable this time around. The octopus was delicious, as was the delicata squash. The italian charcuterie - even our least favorite mortadella (from the deli) was much better here. Cheers to the chefs.
Great food as always. Never disappointed by the food and service:)
Friends’ celebration brunch
I was in the area on business and found this place on OpenTable. Thank you OpenTable !! This was a great place. I had the Spanish charcuterie board and the chicory salad. Both were more than enough for one person. The chicory salad was spectacular. I would have been happy with just the salad, bread and wine. But, I would not have been able to taste the deliciousness of the Spanish charcuterie board. Having traveled through Spain, I was very happy with this choice. The restaurant has a great vibe...servers are great, the ambiance was good. I sat at the bar and watched/talked with the chefs. I will be going back to this place for sure..
It was our first visit to Olympia Provisions and it had been on our list for years. My brother is a chef in Central Oregon and uses product from Olympia Provisions. He couldn't wait to go there and it was so worth it! We started the the chef board and is without cheese. Who needs cheese with so much delicious meat. I adored the torn shoulder, the pate, the two flavors of salamis and oh yeah pickled spicy melon, pickles and green tomatoes. Wow! Then we ordered octopus that was to die for paired it with a pear salad dressed in a champagne vinaigrette. We couldn't believe that they off salami with chocolate and hazelnuts for dessert with marmalade and shortbread. The wine suggestions for every item were perfect to enjoy! The 1987 port, I'd love to have more. The service and the chefs were so kind and relaxed, everyone was having fun on a Monday night. What a great time we had and will be remembered.
They take reservations for brunch, so no long wait! The brunch menu items were diverse and interesting with some unusual choices and everything we ordered was delicious. I wish they had espresso drinks for brunch, and I wish they would add some lighter fare for breakfast. I recommend it unless you want an espresso drink with your brunch or a lighter meal.
Our servers were terrific. Had an amazing birthday dinner!
the food was absolutely amazing. no one was dissatisfied!
We had a reservation for two but were seated 20 minutes after Then it took 20 minutes more to get a waiter to ask us for drinks. The food was good but not anything worth repeating
Good service and food although our soup was lukewarm. Server was very apologetic and brought us cookies which was a lovely touch.
This was a great spot to visit with a colleague from out of the country. We were delighted with the food and creative cocktails. We enjoyed everything we ordered.
Great sandwich. Service could have been a little more attentive. Would definitely go back.
