We had an excellent time, we got to sit next to an open window and the wonderful breeze cooled us as we had excellent pickled eggs!
Charcuterie here was fantastic! Really loved the ambience, drinks, food and overall experience. Would recommend to anyone who loves meat!
Fantastic food! Every single thing we ate was outstanding. Wonderful service and very unique and high quality food served beautifully
Loved this! We’ve wanted to go for years and it was definitely worth it!
Although we had a reservation had to wait for a table even though we arrived early. We then had to wait for an hour before our food arrived. Some of the cold dishes were warm and some of the hot dishes were cold. We were told our table was in a quiet area but the canned music was so loud we had to shout. The cheeses were good but the experience was not.
Love the place. Great artisan cuisine and an edgy cool atmosphere. Wasn't crazy about our table--kind of in a cubby hole. I probably could have requested a different one.
Love the food. Love the service... I'm never disappointed in their brunch!
I have been wanting to check this place for a while and ot exceeded in quality and service. Staff were great and the charcuterie board and cheese board were the stars. Id come here to show off Portland :)
Visited here from SoCal to explore Portland and celebrate a few bdays. Making reservations was really easy. Management contacted us to offer extra accommodations for our large group. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly!!
fantastic service, delicious food, fun atmosphere. The trifecta! Can’t wait to go again.
A fantastic place if you love charcuterie, small plates and interesting wines. Which I do
Great food, friendly service, nice ambiance.
Not sure who is at fault...Opentable or the restaurant....I was never able to have my experience with Olympia. After making my reservation and paying for a $10 UBER, I arrived to find the restaurant closed for a private party. I called and spoke to an employee hoping for an explanation or a suggestion to come back another time etc. and all I received was a "oh that's too bad!!" "sorry to hear that." Really a bummer was visiting from NJ and was looking forward to the experience. Will not try again....
Great plates, produce excellent quality and service very good.
I thought the food was very good but they need to work on some good drinks. The drink menu had strange mixes. They need a mixologist that can make great drinks.
Was celebrating 25th wedding anniversary noted on reservation but it wasn’t acknowledged verbally or otherwise. Wait staff seemed marginally attentive or distracted at best.
Best meal we had in Portland and truly one of the best meals I've ever had. The cured meats are out of this world and the seafood (octopus and scallops) was incredibly delicious. A must if you're in Portland!
Fabulous food. Stunning desert--rubarb & lovage sorbet...
Food was good but the ambience is best for a young crowd.
Great service and great food! Our waiter was so helpful and he had their sommelier go over wine options with us and she was so great and made selecting wine so easy. Highly recommended.
Great food slow service yet friendly. Interesting location.
We had high hopes when we picked OP to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, but were sorely disappointed. We ordered a charcuterie board (4 out of 5 stars), scallops (3 out of 5 stars), octopus (4 out of 5 stars). While we got the charcuterie board right away, the scallops and octopus came out after over 70 minutes. The worst part is that our server did not even come over to acknowledge the delay. We simply sat and waited. As did other tables. And not a word or an apology from the staff until we complained. In response, we finally got an acknowledgment and two complimentary cookies to-go. All in all, OP failed to live up to the hype (both food and service).
Pretty slow service, don’t know if it was an anomaly or the usual “continental” type dining. Loved the atmosphere
Cool trendy spot, good food, but not kid friendly. Kids are allowed, but be prepared to not receive the same service everyone else gets.
Amazing steak tartar. Great date night for me and my husband.
Excellent cured meats. Provided us with a free glass of sparkling wine for our anniversary. Octopus was also very good. Would recommend this place for anyone interested in good charcuterie.
Really nice place, with great service and a wonderful sandwiches menu. They specialize in charcuterie, but I misread the online menus, thinking they did sandwiches for dinner. My wife had a hankering for sandwiches the first night we stopped by, so we didn't stay. The hostess was super-accommodating, tried to refuse the tip we tried to leave for seating us and pouring water, and generally for our wasting their time and bailing on what sounded like a perfectly appetizing but not up our alley for the night menu. Promised we'd come back the next afternoon for sandwiches, and shared two really good ones (the Randy and Italian hero), and a couple of cocktails. Everything was great. Nice day out, and the side was open for a street view and a breeze. Good people and good food, accommodating weird customers like us. What more could you want?
One of the best meals we've had in Portland so far - really wish we were around longer and could try it again.
Mortadella was insanely good!
Fabulous dinner! Love this place!!
Small casual restaurant. All the food we tried was delicious, from the bread, to charcuterie (outstanding), to the chicken thighs and fall-off-the-bone braised ribs. Well edited wine list, and excellent drinks from the bar. We did not have room for dessert.
Delicious food and great vibe! Octopus was a bit over cooked but otherwise it was great
Excellent meal! Everything was great. Loved the steak tartare and octopus dishes.
First time - and definitely want to go back. Quiet enough to have conversation. Enjoyed the wine choices - and definitely enjoyed the food.
Food was great. Loved the decor and ambiance. Only let down was the service. Our server spilled on us twice, we had to prompt her for the specials and to order our entrees, and generally seemed unprepared.
Excellent food and service.
The rhubarb crisp with fennel ice cream was worth a trip by itself!
Was there for a blunch over a Bachelorette trip. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and beverages. The bride to be even bought a goodie box of meats for her future husband as he was jealous of our meal. Thanks again!
Wonderful food and helpful server for first timer.
Amazing food and service! Their meat boards are the best. Too bad we were too full to try their rhubarb crisp with fennel ice cream (I heard it’s amazing).
