Easily the best brunch in Portland. Food was amazing, cooked with care and using amazingly fresh ingredients. The eggs benedict were fantastic and the charcuterie was some of the best we have had. Service was attentive and friendly. A great experience and highly recommended.
We were seated right away which was nice having a reservation. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious.
Was a spur of the moment decision to check out Olympia Provision's and it did not disappoint. We got the petit tower and it was amazing. The pastrami lox was my favorite park, but the whole meal was excellent!
We were intrigued by the name Laser Potato but now we know! The meats were all excellent as were the fish and vegetarian breakfast options. Delicious lemon curd with the freshly cooked beignets. Light, airy, functional. And they take reservations for brunch :)
A tasty lunch. The crab reuben was refreshingly different.
Spectacular meal. I've always wanted to go as I live in the neighborhood, but I don't eat much meat and needed a meat-loving friend to join me. I found one, and we split some of the meat and cheese boards and WOW. A spectacular meal for us both! The whole thing was topped off with two gorgeous and delicious desserts. We had fantastic service from start to finish, and I will be back!
The ambiance was very nice, perfect for an intimate going away dinner. We shared three plates, a salad, pasta and clams. It was the perfect combination and left room for a very innovative dessert. The service was good and the waiter was attentive. I highly recommend Olympia Provisions.
Stopped here for late lunch. Food was good and served quickly.
First time going.
Our waitress was super nice and friendly. She gave a good recommendation to my friend.
The food was very delicious. All of us enjoyed it.
We will definitely be going back.
A beautiful evening in the Rose City. Windows were open with fresh air aplenty in the NW. OP was relatively quiet this evening. The hama hama oysters were fresh and conplimented by a spicy sorbet. The aged NY steak was just ok...nice crust but slightly gristly. Crepes w savory cheese were unique and flavorful. Service was mixed but generally pleasant. Enjoyed a nice bottle of Inconnu Cabernet.
Was disappointed in the pot pie special. Was misdescribed and really more of an appetizer than a meal. With that said, the drinks, oysters, meat and cheese boards were fantastic and service was prompt.
I have dined at the SE restaurant and now the NW restaurant. Both are excellent.
Located in an industrial part of town this is surely a destination eatery. I would stick to the charcuterie plates. Our steak was underdone, sent back and returned still raw in the center. I should also mention the server did not ask how we wanted the steak cooked which I only realized after we received the uncooked steak. That doesn't excuse the poorly cooked steak though. The half chicken is a LARGE portion so share it if you order it. I will go back time permitting the next time I'm in Portland but will stick to the charcuterie. Atmosphere is lovely and cozy. Good music and lighting. Kind workers.
Staff was great. They answered a number of questions for the guests who had food restrictions. The charcuterie board was fantastic and the elaborate charade cocktail was great. We will definitely be back!
Great food. The family style steak option was prepared perfectly with great flavor. Service was excellent. Attention to timing in ordering, drinks and when main course was served vs apps was on point.
Great lunch and awesome service. Our server was super honest with his suggestions and we all got the crab roll, which didn’t disappoint!
Olympia is the high temple of charcuterie.
The big board is so great.
Most people don’t like rillettees, but Olympia’s are fabulous. As are all the other creations.
The Thurman location is so much calmer than the Central Eastside.
Great as always!
Came here for Portland Dining Month and was not disappointed. The choices were delicious and good portion sizes. Staff was friendly. Ambiance was great. Would highly recommend
We came for Portland Dining Month. The menu was great the food delicious. Great value.
Our group of four had a great time, all.of our food and beverages where very well prepared and presented. There was a private party that night next door so it was louder then usual but added to the ambiance in a fun way. The serenade of yellow submarine sung by who knows how many jovial folks was my favorite.
Love the food even if your not a sausage person ! Wait staff are always so nice and helpful. Thanks for participating in March Dining month!!
My husband I had dinner on March 26th and took part in the March Dinner Month specials. We both started with the roasted leek/potato soup, which was excellent. My husband was very pleased with the plate of grilled sausages and white beans. I had the beef/spaetzle dish, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Our desserts were perfect-espresso panna cotta and warm gingerbread with spiced apple. The service was outstanding! We look forward to returning in the near future.
We went with their menu for Portland Diming Month. It just wasnt that great. The salad greens tasted like grass, though the soup was decent. The salmon and mushroom risotto was fine, but nothing extraordinary. The beef and spetzel was better, but again pretty average. The desserts were fine too. The soup and mains were nice and hot, so that was a plus. Heard real good things about this place, but it didn't meet the mark for us.
Always good and we always come when we visit you from Seattle
The best classic eggs Benedict in town. It must be their ham.
Very good food, as usual. The sausages are always our favorite items.
I recently celebrated my birthday brunch with a group of girlfriends at OP. Many of us had dietary restrictions, and our server and the kitchen were happy to accommodate. Food was delicious, our server was great, and we had a blast.
We did the Portland Dining Month menu, which I think is maybe not as good as their regular menu. The food was a little lackluster, entrees especially. The risotto was a little thin and very fishy; the beef/spatzle was kind of dry and odd - they both felt like they were made in big batches and kept warm. So my suggestion would be to stick w/ the regular menu. The espresso semifreddo dessert, however, was amazing! Very nice attentive server, and a nice casual ambiance.
We love this restaurant. They never dissappoint us. The food is fresh. Interesting. Beautiful. And primarily its delicious!
March special dinner, was really nice, started with a little kitchen gift mousse blush, of a spring raddish and compound butter. The smouth and light mushroom soup., followed by a tender braised beef chuncks with spetsela and a fabulous gingerbread and white frosting dessert.
We went for Portland Dining Month and had a great meal. They were able to accommodate Gluten Free needs and the portion sizes were plentiful, but comfortable enough that we had room for the dessert course.
We went there for Dining Around Portland and the food was top notch! It was the right amount of food and made me want to come back. My only 'issue' (if you can call it that) is that their ginger beer in the moscow mule was flat. Also, if it is busy, I think it could be a tight squeeze as the tables are really close together.
Overall experience was okay. Dungeness Crab roll was more cream than anything else, barely tasted or found crab throughout. Previous reviewers are right in stating that food comes out quite slowly. Lox crostini was solid and the drinks are good.
The host that seated us started out by apologizing for our seating arrangement, which had us crowded into an awkward corner table. He said this was because a video crew from network cable show was using a large portion of the restaurant for a production, and so seating was limited. This was on the weekend, during dinner hour; not when I would expect OP to be giving up it's limited space. What were they thinking? Couldn't they have given their space earlier in the day?
So it was kind of weird, with people packing cameras and various electronics milling about. On the plus side, the food was very good, the service (aside from the compromised seating) was excellent. So on any other day I'd probably have given OP higher marks.
Great example of NW Cuisine. Especially great for those of us who enjoy meat. The vegetable dishes are great too
The wife and I participated in Portland Dining month 2019. We each got the soup, beef, and gingerbread. Each dish was phonomenal, and the service was amazing.
Many shareable options, great cocktails, and reasonable wine by the bottle make OP a perfect choice for a group get-together.
Simply amazing pairings! Quality of the meats and sides were incredible.
We went to Olympia Provisions for my partner’s birthday celebration. Service, food, and ambience were all great. I would highly recommend this spot!
