We came in for Portland Dining Month and enjoyed every single bit. We are all in the wine/bar industry and were blown away by the portions and overall experience. The wine pairings were divine and every course outstanding. Our server was incredible and made our experience something to be thankful for!
Had a business lunch with co-worker and had a fantastic meal. Decided to take my wife so she can experience the food and was not disappointed. Service was amazing. Food was very creative, but it worked.
Just what my girlfriend and I were hoping for. Delicious food, good wine, and a nice vibe.
Great for meat lover! There are different meat and sausage for everyone! They have great fish, chicken and lamb shanks. Their roasted Lamb shanks are as big as your biceps.
Couples date night! Service was excellent.
We have a group of us girls that meets for brunch once a month. We returned this month because we love the food and love that we can make a reservation.
Everything about the evening was perfect. Exceptional wine pairing with delicious food!
Not very busy (4 tables seated) but it was hard to get staff attention as they were chatting behind the bar. Cheese plate was fantastic! Food was mediocre. Pork shoulder was cooked well but meal was extremely bland. Shrimp rissoto I was told by my dinner date was a bit rich. I would have tried the steak but how it was prepared seemed a tad too awkward for me (what it was accompanied with). Might give it a try again. Perhaps an off night.
The first course was good. The salad and soup were disappointing. The main course for both of us was disappointing. Using salad shrimp in a a high quality lemon risotto is not good.
The salad consisted of greens and a vinaigrette. That was it. Very disappointed Will probably not go back.
Really great food and service. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic server. We went for Portland Dining Month, and it was a great value.
Brought a good friend out to brunch to celebrate his recovery from surgery and was very pleased with the results! The chairs seemed very cheap compared to the rest of the place and weren’t the most comfortable, but we got a nice window seat near the bar and it was very relaxing. Their cocktails are very nice, though I must say this is the first mimosa I have ever had that was more tart/dry than sweet.
Our server wasn’t at her best, she was hard to get the attention of despite it being a quiet morning and she brought the wrong check (it took nearly twenty minutes to get her attention so I could get the correct bill) but we weren’t in a rush so I wasn’t put off by it.
Food was absolutely up to the hype, I am excited to eventually try another meal here! I was really impressed that the Cajun spices on their fried oyster eggs Benedict had the proper flavor, I’ve been having a hard time finding places in the NW that can do that. It was amazing.
The food was ok. I got the roast chicken and my wife got the blackened cod. The chicken was cooked well but over seasoned. Bread pudding was excellent. Cod was pretty fishy and the beet sauce was overwhelming. We were in the bar section in between the bar and the window. Seating felt very cramped and we were always looking at someone’s backside. We asked to be seated elsewhere and were denied. We had reservations and I had specified it was for a birthday but no mention was made of this. I left very unimpressed with the whole experience.
The dinner was very good overall, the food was delicious! If there is any low points, the waitress cleared our table before we were done eating... very odd.
Delicious food, and great reasonably priced cocktails.
Amazing little restaurant! Selection was fantastic, food was fabulous and the cocktails delicious!
Truly the most perfectly prepared food I have had in any of Portland's fancy foodie restaurants without the fuss and drama. So good I would prefer to keep it a secret! Wine pairings were also expert.
Super friendly service and great ambiance!
The pork shank is delicious and perfect for sharing. Great service!
Wonderful!! The wait staff is caring and very knowledgeable about their restaurant. They make you feel at home and are always close by. I was with a friend I had not seen in a long time so we were talking quite a bit. The staff did not rush us or make us feel hurried in any way. They just made sure to make us feel relaxed and that they were ready when we were.
Food was amazing! We started with the French Board and had the steaks for dinner. The steaks were prepared perfectly and it was the perfect amount. Worth every penny!
I have been to this location 3 other times and have had the same result each time.
I will be back for sure!
great food, charming server who knew all about the food and great wines. The ham plate is amazing!
Very unique. Very small, but it felt like the wait staff was very attentive and personal. Soup was incredible (squash and apple). Italian board was great and great amount of food to split with another small entree or appetizer. Highly recommend for a different dining experience
AMAZING as always! Best eggs Benedict in town!!!! I come often and never disappointed!
Great little place for Sunday brunch. Cozy and unique.
Amazing food and the staff was superb! We’ll be coming back soon!
Lovely atmosphere and excellent service! Thanks so much.
Delicious! Great spot for lunch! Love the horseradish soup.
Had a great time and great food at Olympia Provisions, as always!
As usual. Loved. I ordered the eggs Benedict. My daughter and her friend shared pancakes and a side of bacon and laser potatoes.
Small venue but excellent atmosphere. Inventive food. Best seasonal soups in Portland.
The service at Olympia Provisions is simply outstanding. I've been here for so many different occasions over the years and continue coming back because they knock it out of the park every time. There are so many places to eat delicious food in Portland, this is no exception. The food is great. The difference is that my overall experience here is consistently a cut above.
The service was attentive but not fawning. The bartender understands drinks. Order any meat dish and you can go wrong. We especially enjoyed the charcuterie board.
Incredible food and service, a wonderful evening had by all!!
Have driven by this location many times and seen it completely full so we were pleasantly surprised catch it on a slow early Tuesday night. The staff was still very welcoming, which made it a nice intimate experience even when the inevitable crowd rolled in. Our waiter provided excellent recommendations for our first time at the restaurant. The boar ribs were amazing and obviously so was the charcuterie board, our waiter suggested the French board so we went with that selection. It was meat lovers paradise that we would definitely visit again.
Food was well executed but unimpressive. The service was knowledgeable and attentive but the corkage fee was steep. $20 wow.
We went here for brunch after the Holiday Half Marathon, so we had worked up our appetites. We ordered beignets as soon as we were seated. They were brought out very quickly. So delish! Then we all ordered brunch - gingerbread pancakes, traditional eggs Benedict, and pork schnitzel sandwich. We chatted for a few minutes and our food was brought out at just the right time. Everything was soooo good! Portions were nice - marathon appetites were satisfied! Service was wonderful. Crowd was beautiful. Thank you!
I was pleasantly surprised with my entire dining experience at Olympia Provisions! I was shocked they were able to accommodate 8 at prime time but they did a wonderful job and my birthday felt very special! I booked about a week in advance.
Loved the charcuterie, very attentive wait staff. Good place for casual dining.
crab was overcooked and the waiter came back to confirm that I could afford the crab.
Great service, staff was very friendly and food was great as well. Thank you!
