Not ever rushed, we closed the place again
Superb food!!! So inspiring to read an Oregon-priority-sourced menu, sip sweet fresh oysters, and be served tender juicy sausage! I cannot wait to eat there again soon!!!
Service was very very slow, looked as if they were not expecting a busy lunch. It took over 45 minutes for a cheese/meat board
My husband and I, plus another couple, had dinner on October 24th. We were all very pleased with the variety of food that we shared. We tried 3 different "garden" items, all were fresh and tasty. We shared a varied a sausages (Italian, bratwurst, a sausage containing cheese and kielbasa. Each person had a favorite sausage, but we thoroughly enjoyed all the sausages served with some of their crusty bread. Our server was very pleasant and answered our many questions. Even though it was a weekday night, the restaurant was crowded which resulted in slow service at times. Nevertheless, we shall return in the future!
Such a great meal. The homemade sausages and pate were the best. The waitress was very helpful recommending food choices. The wine was excellent and the ambience was very nice. All for very reasonable prices. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town!
The fried chicken breakfast sandwich was greasy, over cooked and under whelmibg. Very disappointing.
Third or fourth time here. The food is always creative and excellent using Olympia’s products. The service was terrible, one server was rude, all were inattentive. They appeared focused on tasks rather then customers. They were inconsistent in who and when they paid attention to. They have to do better..
; the restaurant wasn’t that busy..
The food is great albiet over priced. The service was lacking. We were left to sit waiting for service for long periods of time. There was a foodie group (a meet up? a foodtography class for Instagrammers?) sitting at the table right next to us. They ordered everything on the menu in phases and proceeded to discuss and photoshoot each course, complete with LED spotlights and standing instruction. It was distracting and self important. Cringeworthy. Olympic was clearly endorsing it. Ruined everyone else's otherwise decent experience.
Wait person was rude and inattentive throughout. Turned away mid order to associate with apparent friends sitting at a nearby table and came back five minutes later.
Vacationing in Portland .was attracted to the charcuterie.. limited menu..Good for the start of a progressive dinner.
Recommend pork liver pate and rye crisps.
Quaint and Quiet, but still in the Pearl. What a Friday evening treasure!
We built our own charcuterie (for lunch) with the selections available and were not disappointed. The quality of meats are fantastic. The chorizo sausage was my favorite! The salami varieties we tried melted in our mouths. The housemade pickles were excellent. Heads up - the pickled beets have a kick of heat. So tasty! Would have liked a larger cheese selection but what we had was tasty.
Food was excellent. Tomatoes in BLT were perfect fall juicy mess. But service was not up to usual par. Server kept forgetting about us outside. We are very considerate when we know restaurant is busy but that was not the case today. Husband had to leave the moment food arrived packed up to go because it took over 40min to arrive.
Still recommend for great food and hopeful this was a blip in service today only.
Great place for groups. Food was on point and our server was fantastic!
Amazing food and great service!
The new menu is interesting. I love psmall plates, but the cheese servings were laughable. Overall, everything is delicious. The back room was ok until a large and extremely loud party arrived. We would have stayed for coffee and maybe dessert but it was impossible to have any conversation. Perhaps large groups belong in the outer room at the far end - away from the entrance. We will come back, but will not sit in the small room.
We really enjoyed our early lunch. The charcuterie was excellent and there were some fun menu items (like gazpacho) that I didn't expect but delighted one of my friends.
One of our favorite brunch spots in Portland! Food is always excellent, they are sweet to our dog, service is friendly and leisurely so you never feel like they are trying to get you to leave. Go! Eat! Enjoy!
Best eggs benny in Portland! Food is always good here.
Interesting, tasty and different types of food! Can't wait to go back.
Super long wait after ordering with very limited follow ups
Best BLT I’ve ever had, hands down!!
What a great find. This place has it all. Good food, drinks, service, and cool ambiance. A must try are the Italian Hero sandwich, roast beef sandwich (with potato salad made with mustard and not mayo) and the stout ice cream & brownie. Will definitely be back.
Excellent high end food and service. Expertly prepared and served. Great place for foodies, or special occasion. I went on a date with my wife and it was great!
Been in the PNW for about 18 months and this is by far the best service and food we have come across! 5+++ ⭐️
We arrived for our reservation and they didn’t have us on the books. Very disappointing
Service was marginal and definitely not friendly. Not many smiles where you felt welcomed. Food was good. The beignets were a miss, but the coffee cake was really good.
My Kielbasa hash and the crispy potatoes was overly salty- and I love salty food. The laser potatoes were excellent.
The eggs Benedict’s were good too. Not amazing. But solid.
Bloody Mary was really good if you like Clamato flavored bloody Mary’s.
Love it!! Brought out of town guests and it was perfect.
Friends, family, and my partner and I have come to Olympia Provisions NW numerous times and everytime the brunch choices are phenomenal. The drinks are also exceptional. We love having this place in our NW neighborhood!
Alway excellent! One of my favorite places
Food is very good, with ample creativity. Service was impeccable.
Amazing brunch! Fried chicken sandwich and biscuits and gravy - it was awesome
What a great lunch spot! Went for my wife's birthday and they treated us so well! Will be back again!
Always a great dining experience!
The best eggs Benedict and "laser cut" potatoes Dauphinoise I have ever had.
If I were on death row this would be my request for my last meal.
One dish was great and the other was just okay. Our roast beef sandwich really had no flavor beyond the bread and accessories. The meat could have been turkey for it's lack of beefy flavor. The other dish, sausages, was a well crafted dish with lots of different, distinct, lovely flavors. The room and service were lovely.
Impossible for any civilized conversation nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooool
We ate here a year and a half ago and it was wonderful. What a disappointment this time. Even though the restaurant was only half full, the service was lackluster and the meal took a long time to come out. Both my and my companion’s Benedict were cold (not even lukewarm) when served despite the lengthy wait. The smashed potatoes were so salty they were essentially inedible. Would have complained while we were there, but server couldn’t be found and didn’t seem to care. We will not be visiting again.
Great space with great light and really tasty food with high quality ingredients.
Overall, Olympic Provisions was a decent experience. The service staff was excellent and very accommodating, as our group had a few requests they easily accommodated without any hesitation. They offered unique dishes, and while the flavor profiles of each were above average, they did not meet expectations and were not as well balanced as we had hoped for (or as the pricing of each dish suggested).
Overall - great ambiance, amazing staff, and mediocre food (for what the menu suggests). Based on the menu (pricing + flavors), I would not return. Correct the flavors and keep the price...I'll come back for sure!
