Olympia Caf is a Greek and Mediterranean restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is decorated in the classic Greek style of a city like Santorini, where stark white walls contrast with bright blue accents. Olympia Caf also has several murals painted throughout the dining area depicting Greek coastal cities.
Olympia Caf specializes in fresh Greek cuisine, particularly the seafood aspect of it. Diners will find several fresh fish dishes alongside meals that celebrate clams, oysters, scallops and shrimp. Olympia Caf also offers a fully stocked bar featuring many Greek wines that don't often get the recognition that their French counterparts do but are every bit as delicious and refreshing.
Very Greek and very good.
Always great. Delicious appetizers, olives & feta & calamari. Lots of vegetarian options. Looking forward to the next visit.
Owner tried to be somewhat accomdating but damage was done.
Leg of lamb seemed to be mushed up something ..had to return.
Was hard to find in back corner of a strip mall...restaurant was not busy so quick service...food was good but it is overshadowed by so many high end options...worthy of a visit for a change of pace... Greek salad was very good and our entrees were quite tasty
We continue to find this restaurant an excellent place for Greek Food. This is the second time we've eaten here this week. First with friends and then with house guests. Both couples loved the food as much as did and will return.
The good was good but there was a big party there the night I went and so it was very loud and the service was slow. If I wanted greek food I would try it again.
Best Spanakopita I've ever had. Actual Greek wines featured on the wine list and they're very good. The pita is warm and fresh. Moussaka was wonderful. Not a huge fan of the belly dancing show, but the food made it worth it.
It was unfortunate that we walked in when the belly dancers were dancing to such loud music
we all winced and covered our ears. Finally the management obliged and lowered the sound
level. The service was so slow that it took 40 minutes for the salads to be served.
The food is always delicious but we will never go there on a Saturday!
Jenna, the co-owner and hostess is wonderful. She paid special attention to our three young grandchildren so their experience was really special. Can't recommend the place enough. A real gem. We eat there as often as possible.
We have been to many Greek restaurants all over the country including expensive and "fancy" places in New York City, but this place definitely "stands up" to a challenge! It is an authentic Greek cuisine, family oriented, that serves simple yet delicious dishes that come in big portions and with nice presentation. We return there every single time we are in the neighborhood and always have a very good dinner. From our "favorites", grilled Octopus remains number one, however my Gyro Platter that I had last time was exceptionally nice and so was the Red Snapper that my husband enjoyed. We are yet to discover many other dishes on the menu and we are looking forward to it.
I have been there twice and neither was a good dining experience. Both times service was very slow. The second time it was grossly inattentive. We arrived a few minutes earlier than as reserved; were promptly seated (not where requested, though other parties of 2 came soon after us and were seated where we had wanted to be); ordered drinks, soon served; and ordered our meal when the drinks arrived. For the next 25 minutes we were invisible-- even though we tried with hand motions to get our server's attention. We were not even served any bread, let alone the likely ready-made Greek salad that comes with our entrees. So my wife left the table, found the manager and complained cordially. The manager then quickly brought out the pita bread basket and salads accompanied by a meek apology and more so her "excuse" that there was a large party to take care of, as if that should be our hungry problem. (There was a large party but also 4 - 6 empty tables.) The entree did not arrive until 20 minutes later. The chicken kabob and sautéed salmon were both very tasty but the portions were small. We both left hungry. That is extraordinary; my wife usually has difficulty finishing a meal.
It was our numerous return to Olympia Cafe and again, we had a very nice dinner. Restaurant is a low key, non pretentious place where food is served as it should be, tasty and plenty on a plate. An owner is a Greek descendent who cares about his guests being happy and full. Our grilled Octopus was excellent and lamb and beef kebab were very good. We were offered a couple of samples of Greek wines we did not know to help us choose, all done with a smile... A definite come back for us!
Everything we ordered from the sangria to the hummus to our combo plate meal was absolutely delicious. It was our first visit but not our last!
We always enjoy this restaurant. Consistently good with wonderful service.
Everything was fresh and home made and the service was well-timed and friendly. The wines are affordable and the baklava is amazing. We will definitely return to try more dishes.
