Friends and I met at O'Lunney's before a Saturday afternoon show. The location was perfect, the food simple, yet tasty and the service was very good ~ and the prices were in the mid-range ~ quite reasonable. The seats were comfortable and the noise level still let us be able to talk with each other. We really liked the low-pressure atmosphere. We will definitely go there again.
Had a party of 12; good service; fair prices; everyone enjoyed their food; the Reuben sandwich and fish and chips were very good; staff was told we had a show to go to and were very accommodating ; Philip was our waiter
Service was really good from young man who sat us to our waitress, loved the atmosphere!! However, for an Irish pub your fish and chips were terrible, soggy with no flavor!!! My kids liked their food so it wasn’t all bad, but I was very disappointed in my dish, I mean that’s what you should get in an Irish pub with a Guinness!
One of my go too places for pre-theater eats. Food is surprisingly good and very affordable for this zip code. The service is always top notch.
What you would expect from an Irish pub. Food was good.
The service & food were excellent. It was a wonderful lunch all the way around !
Very pleasant experience. Much better food than the other bars in the area, especially for the price. Highly recommended.
Stopped in mid-afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. Glad we did. The food was delivered hot and quickly. I had the Chicken Pot Pie, and definitely recommend it to others. My wife and daughter had the Fish and Chips, and they didn't leave anything on the plate, despite good sized portions.
The service was outstanding. Petar was very friendly and attentive.
We'll definitely go back next time in NYC.
Our third time to O’Lunney’s.....we were going to see a Broadway show......the food is above average .....the service was excellent as usual......and a very solid value for the area.....My only issue is the noise.....but to be expected due to a very active bar....beer selection is adequate.....try the pot pie .... one of their signature dishes
Very spacious bar which is hard to find in NYC. We had a party of 9 and were accommodated with no problems. The fish and chips were really good. Several had the Shepherd's Pie and said it was the very best they ever had. Waiter was very good and attentive.
We are in NYC on business and have been "eating our way around the world." We went to O'Lunneys on March 18, the day after St. Patrick's Day. I had the best Irish stew I've ever eaten and a great coffee with Bailey's. I would come back again, anytime!
Always excellent. Highly recommend Good food. Friendly staff
SOOOO crazy on St. Patrick's Day. Glad we had a reservation! Would never gotten a table! Would like to try it not when it was so crazy!
Great fun Irish bar - very fun the night before St Patty's Day. Owner is from Ireland and was at place hanging out and meeting the customers, he even bought us a drink! Lots of people from Ireland in there - heard Irish accents all around us! Good food as well - we got the fish and chips on a Friday in Lent. Guinness on tap
The staff could not have been more accommodating. Part of the party was running late and no one batted an eye or made us feel like we were being rushed. The food was OK. We ordered a variety of items. Irish staple of bangers and mash was deemed just ok which was a little disappointing. Salads and wings were well received and a basic grilled cheese ordered by an adult was "no problem". Sometimes you would expect to get an eye roll for that. To top it all off, Mr. O'Lunney made his way to our table to hand out pens advertising the restaurant. Very nice touch! We would try it again.
Special birthday meal for me and my Mom. Really enjoyed the view--was given a spot next to the window. The waitress was extremely friendly and kind. We really enjoyed ourselves and the food was excellent!
We have patronized O'Lunney's for many years now and never had a bad meal or unpleasant experience. The service is excellent, staff very friendly and accommodating, food delicious.
Met a friend from from out of town. O’Lunny’s is always a great place to go
Standard Irish pub fare. Very good Reuben but hamburger was overdone and incredibly dry. Fries were good. They make great Irish coffee.
The ambiance was energetic which was great for getting together with friends, but made it difficult to hear.
Food was delicious and ample portions for the price. Best fish and chips anywhere!!!
Consistently good food
Very good for groups
Large tables and loud conversation is not an issue
Better than average pub food and good service
I really liked this place. We went to theatre and I read a review and booked a resie. Very good home cooking. Chicken Pot pie was delish and very generous. Bangers and Mash very good.
Waitress was so nice. Loud happy hour energy. Not annoyingly loud. Clean place. Hot coffee and dessert was yum.
Mari & Eric
Service great, food was delish. The restaurant including the bathroom was clean. Would def return and recommend
Delicious! Best French Onion Soup. Nice pub, not dingy at all. Great pre-theater.
Wow Irish food in Times square. Awesome fish and chips. Great beer selection.
Good service, quick to get food. Great atmosphere
Very good staff friendly, excellent fish and chips and corned beef ruebens. We will visit again soon.
We had a great meal before matinee. Our waiter was so friendly , courteous and great stories
Promptly seated, courteous and professional service.
Very cordial service. Helpful server. Cod fish and chips very satisfying. We never felt rushed. Great room. I wish we lived nearby so that we could drop in.
Food ok, very noisy (guess to be expected for an Irish Pub. Try to sit in the back not near the bar. Huge after work crowd came and was encroaching on our dining space. Wait staff did not check to see if we were ok. Had to flag down a different waiter to order dessert and walk to the wait station to request ourcheck.
Grest atmosphere for groups. We only ordered apps, both the sliders and pizza were very good.
You can't go wrong with this Irish Pub! My husband had Fish & Chips and I had Bangers & Mash and they were delicious! The staff is super friendly and the service was quick! It was the perfect place to go to before seeing a show.
It was awesome! Great lunch spot with my family while winter storm Grayson was blowing through!
Perfect venue for a quick uncomplicated meal that is well prepared and served. Staff is friendly and the drinks are generous. Nice atmosphere.
Started with a friendly and knowledgeable bartender explaining cocktails and making sure we understood what went into what we were ordering. Followed by good food, with outstanding service from Kathryn (I think?) who mixed a great personality with attention to details. Overall great time.
We were seated at exactly our reserved time. Our waitress was quick and efficient. The food was good, pretty much what we expected from an Irish Pub. 9 people agreed: a good time was had by all
Good but nothing Special
Ambiente muy agradable. Lo disfrutamos en familia y en vacaciones!
