O'Lunney's Times Square Pub Ratings and Reviews
Rude waitstaff. Had a rsvp, and was taken to a high-top (which is what we booked). Waited for almost 10 minutes (place was not busy) before a server came over and said we couldn't sit where we were sitting. So strange since we were taken to that seat from another employee. We left and went next store to Connelly's, where the waitstaff was friendly, food was good, beer was cold, and we felt welcomed. They should call this place O'Loony's.
We love O'Lunney's. We eat there often, recommend it to our friends and take groups of people there to dine. The atmosphere is authentic and everyone there is so friendly. The food is delicious and priced just right. If you're looking for great dining, great service and a great price, O'Lunney's is the place for you.
Large well run and efficient restaurant and pub near Times Square in busy Manhattan. Gets verybusy on Matinee Day (Wednesday) so make a reservation. Traditional Irish fare and other great American standby items. Most friendly management and servers. This place treats people well.
We had a group of 6 for dinner prior to going to a show on Broadway. Location wise it was excellent and really convenient. Service wise was great - really friendly and amusing waitstaff. The interior was nice with high ceilings, which made it feel quite open. It was also decorated for the holidays which was a nice festive touch. Food was okay - some dishes were better than others. Chicken wraps were very average. Also, the Shepherds Pie had tomato sauce in it? A little unusual.
That being said, it was a large restaurant, had a good bar, and friendly service - not a bad option.
I brought several out of town relatives to the pub for lunch over the Thanksgiving weekend -- the the service was excellent, the staff very friendly and welcoming, it was a perfect place for 4 adults and 3 children -- something for everyone. I would definitely recommend -- very festive Christmas decorations and many TV screens!! Very delish, perfect Ruben!!
Was in the city for a broadway show, stopped here and had a great lunch. I had chicken fingers and fries, a very fancy meal. Lol. They were delicious though and the waitress was super nice. I guess I went at a good time because it was pretty empty during lunch and there weren't kids screaming or anything. The decorations were pretty cool too!
We ate at Lunney’s prior to a Broadway Show.....We had a reservation.....We were seated promptly and service was excellent......My wife had a burger which was cooked perfectly to her request.....I had the Pot Pie ......both were excellent.....It was a bit noisy from a very active bar....but the prices were very fair......definetly will return
O’lunneys is a fun place right in the heart of Times Square. The food was a pleasant surprise both in the quantity and the quality! The Irish beef stew was delicious and loaded with veggies and tender beef. The service was good but the owner visiting every table made it special. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We lunched at O'Lunney's before our theater date. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. The menu is quite varied and offered us enough choices to feel comfortable. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and helpful in selecting our meal. The corned beef in my Reuben Sandwich was some of the best corned beef I have eaten. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who want to eat at an Irish Pub.
